However, she realised that this man should untie her as soon as possible before anyone can see her in this position. How will she be able to face the world then if the news of this incident will spread?

Jack put the sword back in its sheath, as he began inspecting the deadbodies.

"Can you please come here and untie my hands first?", Julie said in a low voice. Her cheeks were red from embarrassment. No man had even touched her or even looked at her directly. How could she ask a man to help her while she was completely vulnerable? It was the most humiliating experience of her life. Jack suddenly remembered that he came to actually rescue the girl, not to fight the bandits. He had forgotten about the girl. As he turned around he was stunned by what he saw.

A gorgeous young girl, in her 20's, was tied up and kneeling before him. Her facial features were perfect and her body very alluring. Any man would easily fall for her. She was truly a goddess. After all, she was the Princess of Annville Empire!

"Gulp", Jack swallowed his saliva. He slowly began moving towards the girl. As he bent down to cut the rope, he could smell a beautiful fragrance. Jack was stunned, he felt as if his mind was refreshed. He could no longer feel the heat of the day. He felt as if he was in heaven!

"Hurry up!", cried the princess who was dying from embarassement. "Alright ,Alright ", Jack frowned as he untied the rope. He was careful not to let his imagination run wild. After all, he was a man of honour and must always respect women.

Jack lowered his eyes as the princess stood up. He wanted to make sure the girl felt safe in his presence. Julie saw the respect shown to her by this man. "Why is this man showing me such respect? Does he know who I am?", Julie thought. Deep inside, she was extremely grateful that this man showed up and saved her from those bandits. Had it not been for him, God knows what the bandits might have done to her. However Julie suddenly came back to her senses. She was the princess of this city and this man had just came so close to her moments ago. She had to save her ego! In a blink of an eye, Julie picked up a sword of one of the bandits and aimed it straight at Jack's throat.

"Get down on your knees! Do anything stupid and I will kill you!", Julie shouted in a bossy tone. She had to save her dignity in front of Jack

Jack could not help but smile at the girl's actions. He could have easily disarmed her but he found the girl amusing. "Pretty girl, I just saved you from those men and now you are going to kill me? Ha-Ha!", Jack said mockingly. He was enjoying himself. After all, who would be so lucky to come across such a beautiful girl alone in the outskirts of the city?

Julie was stunned. Jack dare flirt with the Princess ? He must be out of his mind. "Who are you?!", Julie shouted, pressing the sword tightly against Jack's throat.

Her hands were trembling. She wanted to kill this man. After all he was the only person left who had witnessed her being humiliated. Moreover, he was the only man who had actually touched the her. If she kills him, no one will ever talk about this incident and her reputation will be saved. She must kill him!

However, the Princess could not do it. She felt a deep affection for this young man. He was handsome and strong. Any girl would easily fall for him. Moreover, he just saved her from being bullied, how could she be so cruel and kill him?

"Who are you?!", she screamed again

Jack's playful expressions suddenly changed. How could he tell her who he was? He had been hiding his identity for so long

Jack was previously the Commander in Cheif of the Zang Empire. He was a strong and powerful soldier who had trained with the best warriors of Zang Empire. 3 years back, the Emperor Zang and his family were expelled from the empire after some powerful nobles betrayed the Emperor to take over the throne. Jack was one of the few soldiers who had stayed loyal to the Emperor and went with him. However, the nobles feared the Emperor might try to regain his lost kingship so they sent a group of soldiers to wipe out the entire royal family. The fighting was fierce but the Emperor only had a small group of soldiers and was killed. Jack was lucky and escaped. However, the nobles were unable to control the empire and soon it was invaded and distributed amongst the other kingdoms. After many months of wandering in the mountains, Jack finally found the city of Anastasia and settled here as a refugee. Since then he had never thought about his past.

"I am a farmer who live in the outskirts of the city", Jack managed to say after a long flashback. It was indeed true. He had to become a farmer now to make his living.

Suddenly Jack heard horses approaching.It seemed there were many men coming towards them from the city. In a few moments, hundreds of horseman appeared in front of Jack.

"Your Majesty!", cried the horseman
