7 Handsome stranger

"Sure, come in young guy," Mrs. Snow welcomed him delightfully.

The boy didn't look older than Alora. His raven black hair seemed darker than the night and his eyes looked like a storm was blowing up in them.

A straight nose and full lips.

"He looks like a dime piece, straight out of a worldwide famous magazine cover. So unreal, so handsome. Is he real?" Alora thought.

"Done checking me out, my sweet?" That guy smirked after noticing that Alora was checking him out.

"Believe me, honey, I have seen better. You are nowhere near the guys I have seen in the past. Don't get too cocky," Alora said with an uninterested tone.

"Sure, my sweet. I will pretend that I am believing you. By the way, have I seen you before?"

"I don't think so but why did you ask this?"

"Cause you look like my lover from the past life," that guy smirked.

"So sad. Seems like we weren't meant to be hence my parents married me off to someone else. Now, I clearly remember our past life. You used to be a jobless, lazy pig. What a shame!" Alora acted as if she remembered their past life.

Mrs. Snow suppressed her laugh which was about to come out.

She has seen Alora doing this before to the boys who try to flirt with her.

The boys will say something cheesy and she will immediately come out with a witty comeback.

" I hope you know CPR because you just took my breath away!" That handsome guy again tried.

"Sure, I do. By the way, I love eating raw onions and I had one a few minutes ago. If you are ok with it then why not?" Alora's acting seemed so real that anyone will believe her.

That handsome guy looked like he hates raw onions cause as it's mentioned, he visibly looked disgusted.

Who will? Raw onions leave a dirty smell in one's mouth.

That handsome guy shooked his head and tried for the last time.

"So, aside from taking my breath away, what do you do for a living?"

"I work here as a waitress and kill people for money. I can give you a live demo if you want," saying this Alora threw a fork toward that attractive guy and it touched his hair before landing on the cake placed on top of the shelf.

That guy was visibly impressed.

"That's so cool dude. Would you mind teaching me?"

"Only if you stop trying to flirt with me," Alora said giving him his coffee.

"Will try to but no promises. By the way, Alessanzo here," he said making a fist.

"Yo there, I am Alora," Alora said bumping into his fist with her own.

Due to rain, there wasn't any customer for a long time.

Mrs. Snow and Alora were free. After declining Alora's help saying that it was her birthday and she should enjoy it with her new friend, Mrs. Snow went back to her work.

Alora and Alessanzo chatted for a long time. It was as if they are long-lost, friends.

Alora came to know that Alessanzo was 18, just like her. He turned 18 two months ago while she turned 18 today.

Alessanzo said that he was here on a vacation. He lives far away from here.

After talking they realized that they have a lot in common.

Their favorite season combo is the same, rain+winter season combo.

Their favorite colors are the same. Black, blue and grey.

Both of them like horse riding and they love having ice cream in cold weather but always end up catching a cold.

They exchange their numbers and soon after Alessanzo left but with a promise to meet again.

Alessanzo's accent seemed a little different than others to Alora. It was so attractive but something about him just seemed so mysterious. He seems like he doesn't belong here.

She stopped overthinking telling herself that he legit said he was here for a vacation. He's not from here.

Right after, Alessanzo left, a few people entered the cafe. After making Mrs. Snow understand that working on her birthday won't make her sad or anything, she started serving them.

A couple ordered cake and coffee. They looked so much in love.

With shy moves, the guy slowly touched that girl's fingers. Both of them turned red. With another hand, the guy holds a glass of water.

It was shaking so bad that Alora couldn't help but chuckle. The girl was just as nervous. It was clear from her face but behind the shy demure, their pure love couldn't be hidden.

A student was peacefully studying in a corner, enjoying nature and her hot chocolate coffee.

Behind her thick-rimmed glasses, the passion for being something couldn't be hidden.

She looked of the same age as Alora. If she was sitting alone doing nothing then Alora would have gone to keep her company.

The girl seemed to like her books better than the company of others. Alora wishes the girl gets what she wants if it's good for her.

A group of teenagers ran inside the cafe. They quickly closed their umbrellas. They were six people in total but they had only three umbrellas with them.

Friendship.

They ordered coffee and started chatting. The cafe looked livelier than before cause of these teenagers.

Alora looked at the couple and girl to see if they are being irritated or not, thankfully they seemed unbothered about them.

A few more people joined in.

"One cup of hot chocolate coffee and a chocolate pastry, please," a teenager called out.

"Sure, you can sit there. I will bring your order right away."

After a few minutes, the other employees arrived as it was time for them to work.

Alora left as her hours were already over. She picked up an umbrella from the cafe and ran towards her school.

On her way to the entrance, two hands snaked around her shoulder out of nowhere.

Their wet hands ended up wetting Alora.
