Ch 2 : Acacia

Acacia year xx25.

The sudden aura rejuvenation 300 years ago has been a turning point for mankind.

The humans which used to be at the peak of the food chain at that time were instantly dragged away to the bottom of the chain.

With the aura rejuvenation, the plants, and the animal gained a superior strength from mutation.

The big capital like New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Beijing, and London was immediately covered by those mutated plants while the humans were hunted by the mutated beast.

It was 10 years dark period for mankind, where humans could only live in fear and hidden from the world.

10 years later, human started their first counterattack. Awakened humans started to appear and save mankind from the dark period.

Those awakened humans gained power beyond normal humans. They were stronger, faster, or have keener perceptions. Those humans hunted the mutated beast and create their own protection bases, making a 5 years save period for humanity.

The protection bases keep getting larger and more humans joined and banded together to fend off the mutated beast. But, they didn't know it was only the start of despair.

When the humans started to regain back their land, the second aura rejuvenation happened. This time, it was bigger and stronger.

Space cracks started to appear on Acacia, and the mutated beast kept getting stronger.

From these space cracks, the aura kept nourishing Acacia, making the plants and beast stronger, while leaving mankind behind.

The protection bases that were the safe haven, easily shattered by the new powered-up mutated beast. The humanity that thought they were getting their place back in the food chain instantly dragged down to the bottom of the chain again.

This time, the hope was really lost. The awakened died one by one and mankind lost their leader.

Mankind which lost its leader has its population diminished every day, while the mutated beast kept growing in population.

100 years later, a change happens in the space-crack.

7 Great deities came from the space cracks and blessed the human with their power.

The deity of fire, wind, lightning, water, earth, ice, and metal came and bring the biggest gift to mankind.

"The Exceed."

The Exceed was a term to describe humans with special abilities.

Those humans could control the elements they were blessed by the Great Deities.

Some more talented humans could even get more than 1 blessing.

With the power of Exceed, mankind's great war of freedom began.

Right now, Humanity has regained its place in Acacia.

The mankind settlement in Acacia has separated into 5 great bases:

- United nation of Asia

- The Republic of Great America

- Europe federation

- Australia Settlement

- Russian Empire

With many minor bases around them.

The church of the 7 deities also became a great power in mankind, where the pope has the authority rivaling the general of the 5 great bases.

The exceed also became the center of mankind. Those with power will be respected, while those without power can just go to hell.

Generally, the exceed was incorporated into levels.

From lv 1 - 100, while those stronger than 100 haven't been heard until now.

Those exceed could level up by defeating the mutated beast and absorb the aura released by the dead mutated beast, while some mutated beast also has a core that contains a huge amount of aura to level up.

The massive flux of information rapidly incorporated into Seth's mind. A few minutes later, the pain started to diminish and Seth finally could take a breath.

Seth was a little bit confused about all the sudden information gain, but the excitement quickly filled him.

Seth stood up and told the boss that he was okay. He also asks for some rest time and then proceeds to the back of the stall.

Seth pulled a chair and sort the information gained.

"Okay, so I am in an alternate world while maintaining my identity. I am still Seth, an orphan with a little sister which has his inheritance stolen by my relatives."

Seth sighed inwardly. His alternate self is not in any way better than himself.

"I could only hope that I was an exceed. At least that way I and my sister could still live happily."

Seth searched his brain for information on his awakened ability. He saw a glimmer of hope when he realized that he indeed has awakened an ability. But the glimmer of hope quickly fades away.

Ability awakened: Invisible Hand ( F-Ranked, no elements )

The ability he awakens was one of the trash tier abilities. Furthermore, the ability got no element in it.

In this world ruled by the 7 deities, The element was a major point in it.

Those awakened with elemental abilities were called Exceed.

While the very few rare ones with no element were called "Stranger".

Those Stranger normally awakened trash tier abilities. While most of their level won't pass 10.
