4 Chapter 4: Interstellar System!

Few days later...

"And that's done... Great! Now I have a proper working automated farm with different fruits and vegetables..."

For the past few days, I have been upgrading my living condition to have a lot more varieties in what I eat. Because I have a lot of rations store up, I can not worry about food or water for a while. I also scavenge a lot of fuel from Horizon's Grace and that allows me to not worry about my ships running out of fuel.

But the focus of today is not any of that...

"The focus of today's matter is this." I grab the Chip and Pill from my pocket and put it on the cockpit...

I have prepared a water so that I can drink the pill but before I drink the pill, I think I need to plant the chip to my cockpit...

So... I put the chip on the chip reader in my cockpit and wait for a few moment as the ship read the chip... And then... An announcement was made.

"Hello, Travelers. Please register your name in the System." Said the comms... However, I didn't see any registration anywhere...

So naturally, my eyes wander to the pills and I naturally muttered "Since you were found in pairs, supposedly, I need to drink you in order to make sense of the chip, right?"

I grab the pill and then just pop it to my mouth before swallowing it with water... Surprisingly, the pill tasted of an orange and that definitely makes it pleasant to swallow.

And only then, I can see a translucent blue screen right in front of my face...

"... This is... A system?" I recognize this sort of thing because I do play games too. So, it's only natural that I recognize this hologram like stuff as a system. I didn't think that there would be a real life system though...

Now, I can see the Registration System that the comms spoke of.

I touch the system and it needs me to speak to it, probably as a voice recognition...

"My Name is Noah Aldridge."

"Noted. Hello Captain Noah Aldridge. I am the Interstellar System of the Galaxy Overlord. The late Captain Damien Lilles. You can refer to me as Gaidos." A Robotic voice came through the comms and introduced itself to me.

Impressively, the system in front of me also changes. There's now 2 translucent blue screens and it seems like it gives me an overview of myself, Noah Aldridge and my spaceship, the Stealth Escape Craft.

As I was observing the 2 system in front of me... Gaidos stated.

"Do you need me to walk you through what the Interstellar System does, Captain?" Gaidos offered.

Naturally, I lean back on my chair and decided to let Gaidos take over "Yes, Gaidos. Please explain to me what Interstellar System does."

"Understood. In front of you, are 2 system. One for your body and the other is for your ship. Starting from your body first. That is known as the Body System. Body System gives you information about what your body situation are. If there are any abnormal effects on you, it will be shown and a remedies information will be given to you. It also gives you information on your physical state and emotional state. Once again, remedies will be given to you based on your needs.

It will also gives you information on what is the best way for you to survive. Such as, fighting style, foods and drinks information, and creatures in front of you based on the database that we have. I suggest that you take a look at your Body System later on.

Then, moving on to the Ship System. It shows you any abnormalities on any of the ship parts. It also gives you an overview of all the ships system and allows you to control every part of the ships on the system alone. However, you do need an android to be able to automatically do physical work such as creating and setting up devices. As I am only a System that have no physical body.

Then, you can upgrade your ships continuously based on the ship base that you have. For now, your ship base is A Stealth Escape Craft. Upgrading your ship will create an even better Stealth based ship. Upgrade is possible until it becomes an Interstellar Ark. Further upgrades won't be possible, but you are able to expand your Interstellar Ark to create an even bigger Ark.

For now, that is the base information that Captain should know. I shall inform you of anything that we haven't talked about when we encounter it." Gaidos really explain a lot of things to me to the point that I actually understand everything...

"Thanks for explaining things to me Gaidos. I will see things out based on what I needed right now."

"Naturally. If you have anything that you wanted to do and see whether it is possible or not, you can always talk to me about it." Gaidos reassured me.

I smiled naturally after hearing it says that. Because having a system reassuring me is something that gives me hope for an even bigger survival...

First thing that I needed to do is definitely expand on my ship. But, expansion is out of question because I don't have enough resources to expand my ships. I can, absolutely go back to Horizon's Grace. But that would be counter productive. I'll upgrade my ships when I actually need it.

"For now, I guess I can work on myself and have a way to protect myself."

I look at the Ship System and tap the cockpit overview. It gives me a detail look of my fuel and other necessities.

I optimize the ship that way, the ship automatically go at an optimized pace where the fuel to speed ratio is perfect...

Thanks to Gaidos, it is easy for me to make sure that the ship is running properly and optimally because I never been able to optimally utilize my ship before...

The destination of my ship is not really changing. I'm still making my way toward Mother Nihility. However, since I'm far away from the initial spot I entered the Wormhole, I decided to stop at anything that I saw just so that I can get some resources...

With that's done... I use this time to go to my living quarter and then lay down on my bed while looking at my Body System...
