3 Chapter 3: A Wormhole.

Farming in space was made easy, thanks to the technology from Divine Lucia. I am fortunate that this ship was fully prepared for any sort of situation. Because of that, I managed to survive the situation of having no food or water. 

I have received a device that allows me to reliably farm a Watermelon. I just put a few watermelon seeds into the device and the device will speeds up the growth by adding nutrients that has been provided in the chamber. There's also a water recycling system in the device.

So, even though I sacrifice a bit of my water, it is self sustaining... So, hopefully I can survive off of a lot of watermelons and few more rations.

After I set up that machine, which the watermelon should be ready in 3 days, I went back to the cockpit to continue to maximize the function of the ships.

And then, as I was just casually maximizing the utility of the ships such as the fuel management, the radar detected something and through the communication system, exclaimed "Wormhole Detected"

Hearing about that, I focused my attention outside and realized that...

"Oh shit... The wormhole is in front of us!!!"

A Wormhole had opened not on the side, not around my ship. But in front of my ship.

I scramble toward the cockpit to drive the ship away but it's too late... The ship, has entered the wormhole. I closed my eyes and embraced myself. Thinking for the worst...

A second goes by, then two, three. 15 seconds... Nothing happened...

I open my eyes and see that I'm still in the sea of stars... But, on my left, it's a ship, a massive carrier ship that has been ravaged by what I can assume as the Space Worm, due to the ship having a massive gaping hole in the middle of the ship...

The ship has multiple decks and sections designed for various purposes, such as cargo storage, living quarters, hangars, and command centers. It's clear to see that even from my ship... And it's also easy for me to understand that there is no survivor from this Ship which is unfortunate.

"Damn, what a mess this ship are... Rest in peace those who dies in this attack..." After sending them my prayers, I latch my ship using a grapple on the side. Parking near the opening of the ship.

I went to my living quarters and then grab my Space Suits. An okay space suit called the EnviroSuits.

It was a matte black with navy line spacesuits, made from a synthetic fabric combined with a panel for some enhanced durability. This suits is a good entry level space suits for people to go out exploring an open space situation. It has a temperature regulation, a very good life support, and a small thruster to further ease the exploration in zero gravity.

After making sure that I am well prepared, I left the ships and then make my way into the carrier ship. The first thing that I explore is the Hangar Bays... A place where this carrier ships carry a bunch of space ships that they can deploy.

And without any hesitation, I started looting the place up without hesitation. Gathering a bunch of fuels, and spare parts from a similar Stealth Ships and putting it to the side first so that I can easily transport it back to my ship.

After the Hangar bays, I decided to go to the cargo hold to find more resources such as food and something similar. I get quite a lot of rations that way and once again, put it back on the side of the hole so that I can transfer it easier...

"I have gathered quite a lot of resources... I should transfer it into my ships for now..." If I wait to transfer this stuff to my ship, if something were to happen where I needed to escape immediately, I won't have time to load it all up and that means that this trip is useless...

So, I load it all back to my ships and after grabbing a bit more resources... I went back out and then thoroughly explore the ships...

It was then, I look at a few notes and logs that I learn about this carrier ship. This ship is called the Horizon's Grace. A ship from a company called the Horizon's Cargo Transport Company. These Carrier are supposed to bring hope to planets or Interstellar Arks because it holds so many valuables that is useful for the survival of mankind in the galaxy...

Knowing that, I cannot help myself to scavenge the entire ship at this point... I grabs all of the notes from the Control Centers, Research Labs, and Medical Bay. All of this is to ensure that their knowledge isn't lost because I know that I would learn a lot from their knowledge...

After that, I decided to go to the last place I haven't explore... Which is the Living Quarters... At the very top of the ship, there's a captain quarters and I haven't explore it yet... So, I went there and carefully make my way there...

Upon reaching the secluded captain quarters, I realized that this place is extremely well kept, so well that I can take off my mask and breath nicely...

"Damn, Captain... Your room is very nice huh. So nice that you don't need to worry about surviving without oxygen because your room is riddled with it..."

I walk around the captain quarter and read a bit of logs that he left behind... And then, I found something on the bedside table... Specifically, in the cupboard...

It was, a chip of some kind... And right beside that chip, it's a pill that I don't know. The pill is white and naturally, I grab both the chip and the pill and put it in my pocket...

"I don't know what that is, captain. Let's hope that the chip won't corrupt my ship..."

With that, I continue scavenging the ships... I spend hours upon hours continue taking things from the ship... And from that trip scavenging the Horizon's Grace, I got...

A Brand new Space suit called the Horizon Guardian. A silver with luminescent blue accents for visibility suits, with a very strong nano fiber composite to protect me from radiation and micro meteor, the helmet has an advanced display that allows me to have a detailed navigation and diagnostic on what's going on with my suits and body needs.

An improved Life support, Exoskeletons, Temperature Regulations, and An advanced thruster that allows me to speed through exploration.

More special features from the suits such as...

Magnetic Grappling: Magnetically charged gloves and boots for enhanced stability and the ability to anchor to metallic surfaces. 

Holographic Interface: A wrist-mounted holographic interface for accessing information, analyzing data, and interacting with the suit's systems. 

Integrated Tool Kit: Concealed tools and equipment for basic repairs and adjustments during spacewalks. 

Smart Fabric: Nanotech fabric that repairs small punctures or damages automatically.

Overall, Horizon Guardian Suits is something that I needed because I definitely need a better space suits for some safe exploration outside...

After that, I fire up my ship, after refueling and maintenance and then started drifting away from the Horizon's Grace.

"Thank you, Horizon Grace... You not only saved my life, but reinvigorate my sense of survival with some new exciting things." After thanking the encounter I had...

I went back to my room and sleep to catch up with my rest...
