1 Chapter 1: Prologue.

In the distant reaches of the galaxy, where the pinpricks of distant stars painted the cosmic canvas, one lone spaceship drifted through the void. The Astral Voyager, once a vessel of purpose and exploration, now hung suspended in the silence of an uncharted abyss.

A single ship, damaged but not enough to the point that the space destroy the ship and it insides... Was drifting around the space, the engine is the only thing keeping it moving around aimlessly. Nobody knows where the ship came from nor where its headed... The only thing that is clear that, the ship has gone through a very dangerous situation just now to be in this situation.

Inside the small Stealth Escape Craft, a man was sleeping on the floor. He was exhausted and lightly wounded from initial conflicts that he had.

"Ugh..."

The Man flinched around, indicating that he had woken up from his rest...

What happened? Where am I actually?

I asked myself that question as I'm sitting back up to recall what had happened. After I sit up properly and lean back to the wall behind me... It hits me what truly happened.

3 weeks ago, I was aboard an Interstellar Ark, a spaceships similar to that of a planet. Interstellar Ark named The Divine Lucia. It was a very good place for me to live in with my family. Many folks including mine, enjoys living in The Divine Lucia. Not only that the living condition there is amazing, the safety of the ship is also superb. With fleets of very powerful ships constantly protecting every single area of The Divine Lucia.

However, the ship defense mechanism failed when a fleet of space orcs, a gnarly creature with superb regeneration, super strength, and the ability to continuously spawn more orcs makes The Divine Lucia falls.

I definitely didn't see any situation like this happening. I knew about the threats in the universe, roaming around the galaxy and destroying not only Interstellar Arks, but planets as well. However, to think that Orcs were the one to come to The Divine Lucia is not something I thought going to happen in my lifetime.

I still remember, evacuating with my family, with them saying "Noah. If the orcs were to come here and in anyway whatsoever, threatened our situation to evacuate, I want you to ignore everything and everyone and just go to our hangar."

My Father said, indicating that He and my Mother is ready to let me live. However, being someone who doesn't want to survive alone as I didn't know how to, speak back against that suggestion "But, Father. I can't just leave you and Mother alone to fight the orcs in the Divine Lucia! If I were to survive, then you two ought to come to the hangar as well. I do not want to leave you two behind!"

"Don't worry about it, Noah. We will go to the hangar as well. We just need you to go to the ship as soon as possible and we will follow suit." That's the plan that my Father have.

My mother agreed to it as well, so at first, I thought that it's going to be okay and my family and I would survive together. But no...

They know, that surviving together is a pipe dream.

The Orcs immediately cut off our evacuation route and that calls for me to immediately rush to our private hangar near our home, where the Stealth Escape Craft is located. I ran there as fast as I could, ignoring everyone that's running alongside me and the guards that's buying time to let us escape.

I enter the garage and then immediately dashed toward the spaceship... I entered the ship and hide there, looking through the window to wait for my parents before ejecting the ship out and activating the one time use warp portal that would take us out and away from the Divine Lucia...

I waited for 5 minutes and when my parents come, they were battered. They were wounded pretty heavily and they immediately looked straight at me. Telling me to duck.

I gestured back to them "What do you mean?" And it was then, tons of orcs followed my parents into the garage...

"Oh shit!" I immediately open the door and try to get my parents into the ship by pulling them.

However, they thought otherwise. My mother just hold my arm and then smiled lovingly. Muttering "You must survive for our sake, Noah..."

"Mother?! What are you saying?! You and Father can survive if you enter the ship right now! I can press the button right now!" I tried so hard to get my parents into the ship but my Father replied "No! Son... Listen. It is too late for us to escape together. With the way the situation is right now, you can only survive alone to give yourself the best chance of survival!" He said.

My Father then grabbed a steel sword and my Mother grabbed an energy gun from the side.

"Son. Get out of here right now... This is the last act as a parent that we can give you. So, survive and remember us, son!" My Father said as he jumped toward the orcs...

"We love you so much, Noah. Survive!" My Mother closed the door and then immediately helped my Father fend off the orcs, giving me the best chance of survival.

Knowing that my parents wants me to survive, I decided to push the button and got teleported out into space. My emotions is overflowing and I really wanted to cry my eyes out.

But, the space is also filled with orcs... They see, my spaceship and immediately went on the offense... I couldn't let myself die and let my parents sacrifice be in vain...

I tried my hardest to escape, getting attacked by their beams. The ships was damaged, my body is getting damaged from being shaken around inside, bumping into things and fortunately, the Stealth System activates and I boosted my way out of there...

Before I can make sure that I survive the whole orcs attack, my body slumped to the ground and I passed out...

That's how I got here now... Surviving all alone by myself in my ship...

"... Yeah... I must survive... Not only for my parents sake, for my own sake too... Don't worry Father, Mother... Your Son, will eventually pay you back. Thank you, for saving me!"

With determination, I take the ship handle and then make my move once again, to reach an even safer area and making sure that my survival is ensured!
