11 The Colony and Imperial Conversations

Through the talks with the Merchants on the commercial district we could get a lot of information that we had not obtained.

For Example, the various currency´s they use and the exchange rate of them.

Each nation pays in coins similar to bitcoins with each its own name like Empire coin, Eagle coin and so on.

Since the Information we stole earlier had just the basics and was not detailed enough, just a rough draft of the world.

By touring we obtained a lot more especially the clothing shops I must say that the empire has some nice trend that I really like.

What was new to me were also the different races we saw such as cat-girls, elves and so on in the colony especially their curios gazes towards us.

Well, I must say one Human-like and 21 scary robots does attract a lot of attention.

We toured through the streets filled with cafes, restaurants and all kinds of shops, until we came to the most important area of the shopping street, the markets.

Thanks to the princess card she handed us, we could buy all necessary food supplies and let it deliver to our transport ship.

Well, we spend 30.000 Coins so I could say that it is enough for a few years if put into the freezer on the ship, since I am the only one how eats it.

Next, we went to one of the material merchants to inquire about metals, ores and so on who are in the market.

"Hello Sir how can I help you?"

"Hello do you perhaps have kyber cristals, ion-ore or grey steel?"

(A/N: I couldn't find out the materials to build a star destroyer so I made some up)

"No Sir I have never heard of those metals before but perhaps you are interested in some of my rare metals"

"Hmm can you send me a list of the rare metals here is my contact info"

"Very well Sir have a good day"

After a while the list of rare metals was sent to my watch and I skimmed through it.

"Vincent, I have good and bad news for us"

"What is it captain"

"The bad news is that it seems that the core materials for the construction of star destroyers are not on the market"

"However, it is good news that our enemies can not build such weapons and ships yet without the materials"

Vincent nodded at me after I made my statement.

Now I suddenly got curious how the Eagle Empire could produce low-yield laser weapons.

"Sigh" forget about that, it seems building a homebase is now even more important.

The slide door opened and what greeted me was a big command room with various personal in front of computers a huge screen on the wall and a command chair in the middle of the room.

I sat down on my command chair and commanded "Establish a connection with his majesty immediately and everyone excluding Emily please leave the room"

After a few minutes everybody left and the call was connected

"I greet the sun of the empire" I stood up and performed the basic royal greeting in the empire.

"Hahah no need to be so formal my daughter I assume you have safely come to the colony? Said a middle-aged man with blonde hair and emerald green eyes.

"Well Father we had some accidents" I said embarrassingly.

"Oh"

After ten minutes of talking, I told my father about the whole situation I experienced.

"Hmm very well I will give that mysterious Captain a reward of one million coins"

"However, Aria find a way to bind him to our country," said the emperor

"Father although my conversations with him were brief I don´t think he is a person who bows to others" I said while remembering the anger of being captured and forcefully transported to their hangar.

"Hmm okay how about this we can´t let such a warship freely cruise through the empire"

"Therefore, that Captain should re-establish his guild but because the ship is clearly out of league with the small vessels of the merchant and mercenary's guilds."

"We will designate it as a branch military guild under the imperial family name and give them the freedom to freely travel," said the emperor

For note branch military guilds are guilds established by noble households with a noble as the guild master but who has no direct right to inherit the patriarchs head position therefore the word "branch". In essence these military guilds are private armies of the ruling nobility however few in the empire have the privilege to open up such a guild because of various reasons.

"But Father isn´t that giving them to much privileges by creating that guild under our name when in fact they are the masters of the guild and what if they tarnish our imperial name"

"Father, you do know that with that status they can travel anywhere even beyond our borders to other nations, what if an international incident happens" I said worryingly

"Hahaha my dear that's where's the catch, we will give them that special status only under the condition that an imperial family member travels with them, oversees their actions and advises them"

"By the way also trying to learn from their technology"

"And since you my dear daughter has already made contact with them and established relations that important task will fall on you, maybe you could also seduce that Captain to work for the empire"

"DAD!" I shouted and my cheeks flushed red.

Since I never had any experience with the opposite sex, such a shameful act of seducing made me very embarrassed.
