2 The First Player that Get Achievement
Since the distance between us is a bit far, it doesn't feel ethical if I talk to him without approaching him. It was only when the distance between us was close enough that I began to explain the reason why we could be here and what is our purpose.
Of course in my explanation there is no information about the real world. Everything I say is just a fabrication or rather half lie and half truth.
I said that we came from a very far place and our kingdom was attacked by demons. In exchange for losing our strength, we all managed to save ourselves and teleport to a random place. Our current goal is simply to survive by getting jobs.
Maybe the magic knight in front of me acknowledged my bravery. For now he believed my words. Especially considering we all do such high level magic called teleport yet our level is so low. This incident strengthens my reasoning even more.
"Tell me what's your name?" he asked.
There is no reason for me to hide my name. So I say my name without lying.
"Crimson Clover."
Giving me a nod, I saw him order his men to release all the players they had previously captured.
"According to my promise, I let them all go. However, all of you must be recorded if you want to live in this town."
I nodded, at the same time a notification appeared in front of me.

Beside finishing my first quest, I even get 2 achievements and 1 title. When I saw the explanation regarding achievements and titles, now I understand that achievements can be obtained by anyone but titles can only be obtained by one person.
When I checked the title that I just got, now I understand how can I get the title and what are the benefits of the title.
[Title : The Player's Hero.]
[Title Explanation : A title given to a player who manages to save at least a hundred other players from an event that has a major impact on their lives in the future.]
[Title Rarity : A.]
[Title Benefit : Player's who try to kill or succeed in killing you will get a huge penalty. If you are in a party then you will get a 100% buff for each buff you get and will reduce the debuff by 50% on every debuff you received.]
I never thought that on my first day playing Gaia Project, I would get a title with such extraordinary effects.
On the other hand, the captain of the magic knights finally approached me and said.
"You said you needed a job right? I acknowledge your courage. If you want, I can help you find a job. But you have to do something first."
This must have been one of the rewards from my previous quest. Without any delay, I answered his question and asked him what should I do.

Seeing me fall silent all of sudden, the magic knight captain, Aldoun, seemed to confirmed my decision.
"So what is your choice?"
Letting out a smile, I answered in a firm voice.
"My decision? Isn't it obvious if I accept it?"
"Good! I know if I do not misjudge someone. My name is Aldoun. Come with me, I will take you to a place where I will test you."
While I followed Aldoun to a building belonging to the magic knight's. the players who had survived the npc's unexpected attack heaved a sigh of relief.
"Damn, I think I'm going to jail."
"Fortunately, there is a player who managed to save us."
"Being jailed in the early seconds of the game is no fun."
"Maybe these npc's reaction was some kind of warning. Every sentence and our actions really affect the circumstances that occur."

Entering a building, I saw lots of people in the same uniform walking and talking as long as I followed Aldoun.
Aldoun only stopped when we entered an empty white room.
"Here we are. This is the place where I will test your magic potential."
"I will be in another room. This place has been bewitched using a special magic so you can hear my voice even though I'm not here physically. All you need to do is follow my directions."
After a while, I started taking the test that was given to me.
Several prism-shaped objects appeared around me and Aldoun asked me to take one of the six balls available in it.
I started to pay close attention but all the balls had the same color, White. So I decided to take the nearest one from my right hand position.
When I was taking one of the available balls. The previously white room instantly turned into a forest.
Of course it made me surprised and I started to pay attention to the area around me.
Is this teleportation magic or an illusion? I who was just about to get to know magic certainly couldn't tell the difference.
Aldoun also didn't give me an instruction so I couldn't confirm the truth about my situation.
Just as I was starting to get confused, a deep voice was heard in one direction and from that direction the trees and leaves started to shake.
"Something is coming." I thought while I clenched my fists.
Without realizing it, the white ball that I was currently holding slowly began to change color to a rainbow. But the discoloration has only just begun.
Preparing myself, I saw a giant-sized figure appear from behind the trees. The figure is shaped like a human but both legs are short with a pot belly. Finally on his face there is only one eyeball.
Because this is a game, I could see a bit information about the creature in front of me.
[Name : Green-bellied cyclops.]
[Type : Giant.]

Beside the name and type, other statistics are filled with question marks. I know this is just a game but its terrifying form really makes me feel a little scared. This is the first time I've seen a scary creature from a close distance.
"You can do it. This is just a game! There is no need to fear anything. Embrace the thrill!"
That's the sentence I keep saying to reduce my fear. But that fear wasn't so easy to beat especially when the cyclops started throwing its fists at me. After successfully dodged his attack, I'm trying to escape. But wherever I go, the cyclops always follow me.
After a while, that feeling of fear turned into a strange feeling of pleasure that made me stop running away.
Is this what extreme sports lovers feel?
Turning my body to face the cyclops. I, who have now conquered my fear, finally remembered that all this time I had always held the ball given to me by Aldoun.
Looked at the ball in my hand and saw the cyclops in front of me. I couldn't stop myself from laughing.
So far the answer is in my hand but because fear and confusion that surround my heart, my mind doesn't work optimally and forgets that all of this is only part of the test.
"Let's see if my answer is correct."
I threw the ball in my hand towards the cyclops. A large flame spread and covered all parts of his body.
When it's all over. This forest scene shattered like glass and returned to its original state of being an empty white room.
I saw Aldoun enter the room giving a round of applause. I saw him smile as his eyes fixed on mine.
"Congratulation, Crimson Clover. You passed my test very well. Even though at first you looked scared but you managed to overcome that fear and get your clarity of mind back."
After Aldoun said that sentence, a notification popped up in front of me.

When I gain the ability to use magic. I can feel a big change in my body. I felt magical energy from nature begin to enter my body and fill up the previously empty mana pool. Since I've gained the ability to use magic, a new statistic called mana pool is immediately available to me.
Aldoun could also feel the huge change taking place inside my body and a look of surprise was clear on his face.
I don't know if in his heart Aldoun said that he had found a genius in magic. One thing I know, Aldoun immediately gave me a new quest after he was surprised to see the changes that happened to me.
