45 [+] Chapter 44 - BANG!

It finally happened, the incident of the lizard finally arrived as the giant Lizard appeared openly on the streets of New York with green colored canisters in his hands.

Pushing the button amidst the crowd, the lizard laughed in a sickening manner as the poisonous serum was released into the air, sending the swat team that came to combat the lizard and his minions to a coughing fit as they fell,

The news of the lizardman climbing the tower was broadcasted while Tom contacted Spiderman,

"Are you seeing this?" Tom asked.

He knew something like this was going to happen, that's why he had asked Peter to come up with the antidote,

"Yes, I saw the news, I am going," Spider answered as the sounds of the wind passing were heard from the other side.

"No, I am flying over there, you need to take down the lizards on the ground first, I will be waiting for you at the top, Don't be late kid," Tom mocked as he cut the call.

He had been waiting for this, Tom felt his pockets and smiled, a huge bulge could be seen as if he was hiding something,

"In case We fail, I have a plan B," Tom thought as he jumped off and flew towards the Oscorp tower.

With his speed, it didn't take him long to arrive at the tower, though he had to stop a couple of times on the way seeing the lizard minions harassing the civillains and the police alike.

'The police are going to be beaten by both animal and human rights activists.' Tom mused as he finally arrived at the roof of the tower.

The Lizard man had already put the device on the highest point and was installing the serum into it.

"It's too late! Puny human," the lizard stated as it jumped towards Tom, who dodged to the side mid air and then followed up by serving the lizard with a powerful kick to the back of its head,

"Guhh!" The lizard grunted in surprise as he felt Tom's strength which had grown since the last time they fought.

The lizard got up as it circled around Tom with its tongue flickering like a snake, which confused Tom,

"It seems I am not the only one that has gotten-"

*Bang*

"Don't waste my time with useless talk," Tom yelled as he launched himself at the Lizard, who didn't expect the calm Tom to not even listen to his grand monologue and instead attack him without warning.

Though the lizard wasn't a pushover either as it turned around with swiftness and used the speed and his tail to swipe at Tom, sweeping him off his feet and followed up with a claw attack that sent Tom tumbling backwards,

Fortunately, he had trained himself for a long time and had mastered the Tekkai and Hardening quirk to a good enough degree, although his strength still wasn't at the same level, his defense and endurance certainly were.

Tom easily got up and dodged to the side as the lizard tried to have a jump at him,

'Where the heck are you kid?!' Tom couldn't help but curse as he looked at the device,

The timer will slowly be coming to an end and he will have no choice but to deploy the plan B

Tom couldn't help but feel his left pocket, kicking at the Lizard's face Tom and the Lizard again fell into a heated battle of attrition.

"Sigh! Lizard man, I guess this is goodbye," Tom sighed as he pulled out a pistol from his pocket and aimed at the device which had only one minute left on it.

"What are you….No, don't do that, I SAID DONT DO THAT," The lizard who was growling suddenly lost his breath as he saw the pistol in Tom's hands and where he was aiming,
