White Duck
In a completely black room sat a young man with magnificiant glasses on the ground looking intensely in front of him.
If anybody was with him they might be thinking what for physco looks so intensely in front of him where nothing was, but then they will panick as they were trapped in a complete black room.
But for Jin it was very different as only him can see the blue screen that was in front of him.

He has been here for an hour already but nothing happened except this blue screen appearing before him in the beginning.
After waiting for another minute Jin finally decided to click on the start button.
'Nothing is here and this is the only thing I can do... No matter how suspicious this whole setup is, I gotta do something' Setting his glasses in a comfortable position Jin clicked on the start button.
The screen quickly was replaced with an other screen that displayed a very colorful animation of an egg cracking.
Soon gray light came out and Jin felt a very bad premonition inside his head.
In most gacha games gray meant common or even inferior than the standard. But what does he know? Maybe it's the best thing you can get.
That's what he hoped for.
Soon the egg cracked completely revealing a complete white duck with orange feet and beak.

No matter how Jin wanted to comfort himself with some rest-assuring words like that it was probably the best species you can get or that he can achieve something that mankind yearned for such as naturally flying or being an intelligent duck.
It all came down he was a duck. A freaking useless white duck that has no combat prowess.
Well, Jin assumed if this bizzare event happened the way he read his novels then he will be likely be transported to an another world where magic exist or a xianxia/wuxia world.
Assuming that Jin just hoped he will be transported into a fantasy world where the danger is much lower than a xianxia world. Maybe he will even be adopted into an all-powerful family where he only need to be a pet from a young princess/lady.
but the next screen crashed all his hopes.

Even though the text appeared like normal dull words. Jin felt the mockery behind it.

Jin slowly opened his eyes as he felt the hard ground of earth. The feeling standing on the soil and grass with his bare feet felt so nostalgic and yet so bad.
'Am I really a duck?' Jin wanted to cry when he saw his pure white wings and body.
turning his head to the side he saw the familiar screen again!

Jin inwardly cursed the system with the most gruesome words he can think of, but he did what the system told him.

'Asshole, why are levels in a cultivation world?' Jin was utterly confused why he saw levels under the cultivation bar.

For example if you're level one Qi Nuturing realm that basically means that you just stepped into that realm while if you're a level 100 Qi Nuturing realm cultivator then that means you surpassed the boundary of Qi Nuturing realm and have the power of the realm or realms above that realm]
'Wait, you mean that even if I breakthrough to the next realm my levels remain the same?' Jin asked as he discovered a small hint from what the system told him.

'Hoh~ it isn't that bad then' But Jin's mind wandered unconsciously as he thought that if he was reborn as a dragon, didn't mean that he could be way, way stronger than as a duck?
Coming back to his senses Jin quickly stopped to think of further depressing thoughts as he quickly demanded the system to give him the starter-pack.

Ignoring the last sentence an expression full of despair quickly appeared on his duck face. Although Jin loved gacha games, most of the time his luck was terrible!
He thought that the begin of the start button was the only gacha but it seemed this this whole system was a gacha system!
Looking around him Jin deemed that it was still safe for him. All what he saw was a peaceful lake with the forest surrounding it.
'How do I get the pill?' Having a higher cultivation realm is always better than having none even if it's the lowest.

Above Jin's head a golden pill appeared. Jin quickly opened his beak and swallowed the pill.
He felt his whole body burning. It continued for a few minuted but for him it felt like eternity. It's as if he will become a roasted duck soon!

After the screen pop-up appeared the burning sensation he felt quickly faded and nothing was left.
'How do I use the tickets?' Jin said to the system.

'...' 'How do I get detailed information without thinking of you?'
[J-Jin are you truly planning to cheat on me with my sister!? Is this why you say such harsh words to me?] The system unconsciously let out it's voice instead appearing in text form.
''Wait you can talk! Why don't you do that in the first place! And who wants your sister, I probably even can't change systems!'' Jin shouted in impulse but in reality he was just quacking like a normal angry duck.
[Well, at least you're smarter than the most people out there] Unlike the frail maiden tone the system just used, this time it sounded normal with a confirming tone, as if it was doing everything on purpose.

''Asshole'' Jin immediately said without thinking of any better name.
[I refuse, think of another name] Said the system in a resolute tone.
''Then how about bastard'' Even though Jin couldn't see the system or hear anything from it except it's voice, he was pretty sure he heard a vein bursting.
[Should I change your name into bastard?] Said the system in a sweet voice that will melt every worry.
But sadly Jin wasn't affected as he try to come with an another name ''Sigh~ How about Alicia?''
[Oh, it surprisingly a normal name, why did you think of it?] Asked the system.
''It was my hamster's name'' Jin said without any guilt.
[... Host's name: Jin officially changed to: Duck Bastard]
''Fine, fine, how about 'Mia'?'' Jin relented after he checked his status and actually saw Duck Bastard in the place of his name.
[And... how did you came up with that?]
''Your voice was pretty sweet thus I unconsciously thought of Mia as it sounded a good name with a sweet voice like you''
[Host name: Duck Bastard is officially changed back to Jin, I will accept this name] Mia happily said as she changed back Duck Bastard's name to Jin.
Jin then thought of Mia's name and quickly a banner of different girls and a guy appeared.
Like normal gacha's banners Jin clicked on the only banner and used his 10+1 starter summon ticket.
