1 Transmigrated?

"Oi, Kiyokura! Stop playing games while we're walking, man," my best friend Tanaka yelled at me as we headed out to buy a new PC.

The reason we needed a new PC was because the game of the century was about to be released! It's called Fiction Saga, and it's a Gacha game. At first, I was indifferent because I already had 10 Gacha games on my phone and emulator. But this game blew me away with its sick storyline.

You start as an OC and roll Gacha for items or characters. Once you roll one, it takes you to the fiction it's from. Yes, it's a multiverse game and the most significant crossover in history.

The story is versatile thanks to AI because the choices aren't limited to just one or two options. You can say or type what you want, and the AI will figure out how. As the story progresses, users can earn GP, which they can use for Gacha.

"Tanaka, it's almost 1 pm. I've got to check the banner," I said as I showed Tanaka the screen of an anime adventure game on Roblox that I was playing. It's a regular tower defense game with anime characters as units.

Tanaka gave me a playful punch on my shoulder. "You and your gacha games, Kiyokura. You never change, man."

I grinned. "Hey, at least I won't be bored during class."

Tanaka rolled his eyes. "You're impossible. Anyway, we must hurry up and get that new PC to play Fiction Saga as soon as possible!"

"I couldn't agree more, dude!" I replied.

Finally, we got to the electronics store and headed straight to the gaming section. "That's so cool," I said, pointing at a high-end gaming computer.

Tanaka chuckled. "Certainly. But let's be honest. We need something that fits our budget and handles the Fiction Saga."

I nodded. "Yeah, you're right. Let's ask the salesman for some recommendations."

After an hour of comparison shopping and discussing specs and prices, we settled on a mid-range PC that balanced performance and price.

As we headed home with our newly acquired PC, I said, "Well, let's split up here. Bye."

"See you," Tanaka replied with a wave before turning away.

I continued walking towards my house, but something unexpected happened. I saw someone being stabbed by a hooded man.

"Mikami-san!" the woman next to him shouted as another man grabbed his hand. I watched the hooded figure run away, leaving the victim on the ground. He also walked past me, but it wasn't me, so I just walked away.

Upon getting home, I immediately set up my PC and downloaded the game.

Watching the progress bar get closer and closer to 100%, I waited. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the game finished downloading.

When I clicked on the Fiction Saga icon, I felt excitement in my heart. The graphics looked great, and the start menu sound was great.

After spending some time creating my character, I modeled him after my favorite anime character, Coco from Toriko.

He had long, spikey black hair and brown eyes that were sharp and pierced.

"Let's roll." After clicking the confirm button, the screen showed an animation similar to Fate Grand Order Summon, but with a different background.

"Lame," I muttered, even though my eyes were still locked on the screen. The light slowly fades away, showing the gacha that will determine how my character's story begins.

[Atlantean Helmet Acquired]

"What is this thing?" I minimize the game tab and open my browser. "Let's see," the result is shown after typing in Google.

"So, it's from DC. The helmet allows its wearer to live without food, oxygen, or water." I click Next and start playing the game.

Since Fiction Saga's release four years ago, it has been called the best game of the century by many gamers.

With each passing year, I kept playing Fiction Saga and climbed the ladder to become one of the top players. I'm currently third, with only two players ahead.

My story is forced to be based on the DC Universe. My character has to travel to other realities from time to time. However, others don't have base realities and travel to different realities after completing a certain task.

It is now 2 a.m. I am exhausted from playing Fiction Saga all night, but I still have to buy groceries at the supermarket. I grab my list and head out the door.

(AN: There's Uber, but let's make him do it. Sorry, dude, but the plot is stronger).

As I walk down the street, I can't help but notice how peaceful and quiet it is outside. The streets are almost empty, with only a few cars passing by.

Once I arrive at the supermarket, I grab a cart and walk through the aisles, purchasing the items on my list. I buy bread, eggs, milk, and vegetables.

On my way to the checkout, I hear screeching tires and a honking horn and look up just in time to see a truck approaching.

I try to get out of the way, but it's too late. The truck slams into me, and everything turns black.

A strange ceiling greeted me as I awoke. "So, it was a dream," I reminded myself as I closed my eyes.

"Wait, this isn't right," I jolted up. This place was not my home or a hospital. There are a lot of life-saving equipment attached to me. The last thing I remembered was being hit by a truck. Maybe I survived?

"Son, you're awake," an unfamiliar yet familiar voice called out to me. I turn around and see a tall, muscular man with medium dark skin, strong, rugged features, broad shoulders, and a square jaw. He also had three pale scars across his face and brown eyes. This guy was Vandal Savage, but why did he call me Son?

"W-who are you?" I asked him, hoping that was the best way to survive.

"Me? I am Vandal Savage. Your father and you are my son, and your name is Hiroto Yamashiro."

Had I just transmigrated? But why do I feel familiar with my new last name?

I feel like this web lacks DC if compared to Marvel (Especially the comic version). So I want to add more.

About cover why I use teen titan Jinx. It's because I prefer this version more than her comic version.
