6 Is stop that hard?

As I expected, my half-brother Takeo discovered the dojo was open again. In four days, he sent his minions to attack me three times. But they are too weak.

I've decided to learn Chinese today. I thought studying different languages would help Cypher assimilate faster. The plan is to stay here for about three years, maybe less if I find someone reliable.

In the midst of studying, a loud crash broke the peace. I put my book down and got up. It was obvious who it was. My half-brother, Takeo, finally arrived.

Leaving the small room, I walked into the big training hall. There was Takeo waiting for me.

"At last, you're here," I said calmly. "I knew you'd show up."

Takeo sneered, "I never thought you'd make it." But now I'll finish off whatever's left of you." He charged towards me, sword in hand.

"Takeo, I've changed. I'm not the same as I used to be," I replied, blocking his attack with a beam saber. Then I summoned my BOWA-XBR-M-79-07G Beam Rifle and started shooting.

Even with the injuries he already had, Takeo kept attacking relentlessly, fighting as if his life depended on it. "Please, Takeo, surrender. I don't want to kill you," I begged, feeling a bit of mercy from Hiroto's memory. Maybe I reconsidered ending his life.

His eyes turned an eerie shade of green as he shouted, "No! This is my choice!" Hulk? Nah, too bullshit.

"WTF did you do to yourself?" I kicked his body away, but he turned into an even beefier version of himself.

As I dodged his punches, he kept saying, "I would've been better off without you.".

"If it weren't for you, my mom wouldn't have reached out to your dad and died!" He put even more power into each blow.

'What's up with him?' Blaming this kid because he's his parents' kid. Why doesn't he just take it out on Savage or the guy who killed Mom?' My beam rifle density increased as I fought back.

"You're on drugs, aren't you? I knew Takeo wouldn't act like this." I tried to reason with him. This dude was definitely high on some downgraded Venom version, based on how he looked.

"Yeah, so what? I'm gonna fucking kill you!" he roared again. One of the worst versions of this venom is this one.

The effects wouldn't last much longer, so I kept stalling.

He had holes all over his body, blood gushing out of them. I sighed as his body collapsed. "Is it really that hard to stop?" I asked.

It felt weird. Even though I didn't know him, I felt sad. "I didn't want it to end like this," tears poured out of my eyes. Damn it, why didn't the gacha give me Gamer's Mind?

"Why the hell did you have to use Venom..." I stared at my brother's lifeless body. Why did you choose that instead of living a normal life after making enough money? It was just a stupid tantrum, but I couldn't bear it.

'Fuck you, Hiroto,' I murmur. People talk about how memories shape us into who we are. Even if it's someone else's memory, it might count.

As I stuffed his body into a bag and tossed it into my ghost zone, I muttered, "This world is messed up.". As much as I wanted to give him a proper cremation, I didn't want Nekron to resurrect him.

"Hiroto, I'm sorry, but this dojo won't open as you hoped." I quickly gathered my belongings and stashed them in the Rust Bucket.

Just before I left, I noticed a girl who looked about 4 or 5 years younger than me. Looking at the dojo with curiosity, she seemed interested.

"Maybe I should tell her it's closed," I thought to myself.

"Excuse me, little girl, this dojo is closed," I said, but to my surprise, she didn't move.

"It's good to see you again, Maseo," she suddenly hugged me.

No, this is strange. An 18-year-old guy is hugged by a 13-year-old girl.

"Wait a sec." I gently pushed her away. "Who are you?" I asked.

'Why did she call me Maseo? That name shouldn't exist in this universe.' I thought, my eyes widening from how she called me.

-----

Who is she? Well, most of you probably know her. But how did she get here? Why does she know of Maseo's existence? Not ROB, I'm sure. She will be one of our main girls.

About her age, she's 13, because YJ fandom, she was born in 1989 and Bruce was born in 1978, so there's an 11-year difference. So if I compare YJ to mine, which is now 1967 and Bruce is 24 in my timeline right now,

As to why this chapter is shorter? It's because I just found another treasure trove called guide dotcom (I'm not sure if this size allows a link) and I tried to explore the site to get more info. The other is a dccontinuityproject, which may be a good addition to my DC history.

As for Marvel, I'll leave it as it is for now because history is probably easier to make than how they publish a history of the Marvel universe comic (Did DC have something like this?). My only complaint is the timeline of the modern heroic era. I have no idea when it took place.

Is MC's personality changing too fast? I'm really worried about that. At first, I planned to have MC kill Takeo without remorse, but I changed my mind. His mentality is not there yet. Any suggestions to improve my writing are really appreciated. I used GPT but it's still not to my taste, so if there's any suggestion (especially for editing) please give it to me.

My story will last for a long time until I am unable to write anymore. But the update might be like this until next year (May or June) because of my situation as a student.

This has been updated as 2/7/2023. I edited it as much as possible because I think it is worse than the other chap, especially since it is so unreasonable. My apologies for the bad chap. :(

9/9/2023 I did it again and added some explanations for Hiroto why he is sad about this. I saw some comments and decided to add this part.
