His response is a soothing rub on my back and a kiss on my cheek. Then I catch sight of the wall behind him and gasp.
On it is a spray paint mural of the lower half of a woman's face. It has luscious parted lips and a slender neck, the fingers of both hands touching the jaw. It seems like the bottom half of the eye art that he did on the rooftop a few nights ago. "That's so beautiful."
Mariano follows my stare and he turns around while keeping his hands on my waist. "This can be your practice wall if you want. Just make sure you open the windows, turn on the exhaust, and wear proper gear for the fumes." He nods toward the box on the floor that contains the ones I wore that night.
