"You keep wanting to show me something these days. What is it this time?" I ask as we step out of the restaurant. I have to say, Mariano has got me curious.

"You'll see when we get there." He nods at Enzo from across the street before shifting his gaze to me and then looking at my feet. "Are you sure you're okay to walk in those heels? We can drive there."

I follow his stare. My toes are painted red and they look pretty with my gold heels. I like the fact that even though my footwear added to my height, he's still taller than me. "How far is it?"

"About two blocks away."

"Hmm… I can walk. I'm so full, I feel like I'd fall asleep if I keep sitting." As much as I enjoyed our dinner tonight, I wanted to stand as soon as we were done. I wanted to move. It's cold tonight, but nothing that I can't handle. I put on my coat and I'm already warmer.

"Alright. Let me know if you get tired." He ties my coat for me and then takes my hand again.
