1 The Test

"Jake!!", called Amanda.

Jake, a young teen boy, walking down the street when he heard Amanda calling him. He turned around and stopped for a while.

Amanda came running to him and said, "What happened? Why you left so early???"

Jake, disappointed said, "I'm...just...umm"

Amanda, with concern said, "Have you got less marks? Are they really less??"

Jake, a person who thinks of various technology to be in future...got less than 7 in his exam of Science which was of 100 marks...

Jake, with tears in his eyes, said, "Y..yes"

Amanda hugged him and said, "You should tell your mother about it. I know she will understand."

Then suddenly, Amanda's phone rang and she picked it up.

It was of her mother....

She, after ending the call said, "I'm sorry Jake, my mother called me...otherwise I would have went with you...."

Amanda left in a hurry.

Jake, who was disappointed and was not ready to go home...went slowly while thinking of what to say to his mother.

While walking...he suddenly saw a narrow lane...which he never saw before even though he walks from there every single day.

Jake, being curious, went inside the lane. He was scared, yet excited to see what is there inside.

He reached the other end and found out...there was a path connecting to the back of a forest.

He walked through the forest and found a spaceship type machine, which was covered in dirt and was all broken.

Jake was very excited to observe the spacecraft. He tried to open the door of it and with lots of effort, finally he opened it.

He went inside of it, as it was broken, he could only get somewhat inside..

He was admiring the spacecraft and then his eyes struck something...

It was a piece of paper...

He took it and saw, something was written...

He was so shocked as the language in which it was written was not the language anyone speaks....it is all in code of 0s and 1s....

He mumbled with joy, "Future.....!?"

He excitedly went running to his house. He was very happy.

His goal was to crack the code which was there. He wants to know what is the truth behind it.
