Start up!

Today is my final day of working as a factory worker to collect enough money to buy the new virtual reality helmet that was released by the World Federation. The reason I am working so hard to buy this helmet which is worth $20000 was because it will give me the chance to turn my life around. This game allows the user to absorb the knowledge that was given to each class in game that will in turn make those people turn to be more efficient in the work and also to find people who have talent in other fields but did not get the chance. The amount of knowledge that a person can absorb is due to their talent in their brain development.

I finish my shift excitedly as I return to my small apartment that was located in the old part of the district of Roven City. I live alone due to me being an orphan and as for having a girlfriend, well I need to have money if I want that. " Sigh... , I hope what they say in the news is correct ". I was actually a pretty smart guy back in high school but because I did not get the scholarship to further my studies, so I had to find a job soon after.

As I reminiscing about the past, I began to be hopeful of about the future. I then start to enter into my dreamland of me living happily with a beautiful girl as my wife and a big mansion in the capital city as my home.

Kring... , I was awoken by the sound of my alarm. I turn off the alarm and look at time, with a shock expression I yelled, " What! its 10 a.m already ". I hurriedly ran to the bathroom to take a shower as I was afraid that the virtual reality helmet will be sold out. I then make my way towards the retail store to buy it while calling my best friend Alex. " Hey Alex, are you there already? ", I asked desperately. " Yeah come here now, I save a spot in front of me just for you". " Thanks bro ".

Alex is one of the few friend who I still had contact with till today. He came from a pretty well off family and he even managed to enrolled into one of the most prestigious university in the world which is located in the hearts of the capital city called Universal University.

I manage to buy the helmet on time just a few minutes before it ran out due to his help." Call me tomorrow to give me your in game name so that we can meet up inside the game okay Luke.", he told me before riding his hover car back to his home. " Alright mom ", I half heartedly reply back.

Now at my home, I turn on the helmet, put it on and start my journey. An emotionless voice greeted me, " Welcome Luke Storm ".
