1 I am back

I was like the wind though never fleeting, simply floating in nothingness surrounded by an expanse of darkness, there wasn't anything here.

Continuous empty space which enveloped me; surely that's something.

Then suddenly.

Awakened and swept away in the blink of an eye.

After what had felt like an eternity alone- I was summoned, no less as an orc deity.

War and conquest, two words now fast on my mind, that is where my strengths lie.

A sort of blood god that would only be invited when things weren't in order.

It was easy to understand when my kin had been pushed almost into nonexistence; their desperation brought forth my existence.

Human armies, elven parties, dwarven lords with their cohorts and lower than kingdoms, each respective city state along with the sub races with pricey mercenaries.

All had unified to annihilate orcs, goblins, trolls; anything with greenish/yellow skin were fair game.

To hunt, enslave and mar.

The elder clansmen and tribal leaders had consoled the gods, their way out was beyond desperation, to summon me and to do so they had to sacrifice their lives.

I was born out of their combined agony, a less common trait among orcs.

Yet they shed tears and weep, laugh and smile; just as humans.

Summoned to lead and rejuvenate the bloodline with my own, with the wars and constant fighting leading to a downward spiral, orcs had become weak, too weak to put up a fight.

I stood alone as the only capable breeder, my duty is to breed a stronger generation.

Orcs being orcs, it takes a bit of time to complete a full pregnancy.

There wouldn't be any goblins or ogres to help with that process, their animal instincts when it came to breeding is far worse than anything in this world.

Whilst my kin are like walking tanks, able bodied and protected by our thick skin.

A bit rough ended, though powerful in any close combat.

It's easy to see how the rest of the civilized nations would attack us, combining their individual strengths.

An easy fight against disorientated tribes.

All was to change, they had made me their enemy; all those lives lost and their rage living in me as the proof.

One who's only goal is revenge.

Kin sacrificing themselves as fuel to feed a raging inferno within me, it won't be put out by mere words of forgiveness.

I want nothing than to give back ten fold as to what the humans, elves and dwarfs had done to my people, I want to see how desperate they will get when I am at their gates, plundering their villages and raiding towns at my own leisure.

Enslaving their women, capturing their hopes, dreams, desires.

I swear on my life, I'll burn their cities to the ground.

I will enslave innocent people.

Rip and tear any soldiers who dare oppose me, and where I can I'll eagerly and indiscriminately be taking prisoners for darker purposes.

For no other reason than to give what they themselves handed my kin, the brutal conduct.

I would return, everything- Everything and nothing less!

The information I have was somewhat strange, as I had it all from the second of gaining consciousness, was this the grievances and hatred from those who've died?

I've yet to step down from the summoning platform and I've already made up my plans.

Below me by the last step were fifteen female orcs, all bowing, some even shedding tears.

Others were less joyous and more shameless as to their eyes went towards my male body part.

I was to make this into a matriarchal society, I am a woman and a goddess at that, what more political power would I need when I'd be the sole ruler.

But I doubt once we reach the size of a horde that the men who'll grow up will bow like these females, no way will I be able to keep myself as the true, ultimate ruler?

I will need something better and the sooner I create a title befitting a saviour, the better.

That way I'll never be forgotten.

Perhaps, "The mother of all," matron, the matriarch, mother to all clans!

I'd have to elevate the clan system into something more than that.

With time perhaps, we'll be the ones looking from high castles on humans working our fields.

I'll re-brandish our world, sculpt a new era to existence and form the shattered pieces into what I desire, era of my accession, Qira, the goddess of Extermination.

Dare not stand in my way.

Might as well be the goddess of life, since I am going to be making life happen with whomever I wish and whatever I fancy, then take it from those who oppose me.

I held in my devious chuckle and observed the largest woman in the ragtag bunch move from her submissive stance, standing up as she took a few steps towards me.

"Qi- Qira?! Is it. . . ! Is it really the goddess, Qira?"

"Why are you so unsure, Ticha." I roared.

She seemed taken back by the fact I knew her calling.

She instantly went down on a knee and put her hands up to the sky. "I am sorry for doubting!! Forgive me."

I shrugged lightly and muttered. "Hmpf, it's quite fine."

Taking a deep breathe. "Now, tell me... Everyone not here have sacrificed themselves, and you fifteen females of young age are all that's left of a hundred different clans, aging from the dawn of this world, the only survivors are the few of you." a glance through the ranks had me satisfied, their curious ears perked as they listened closely.

"So tell me, young ones. Were you chosen by those who left, or are you all just the ones who stuck around. It's a big difference between being a coward or having qualities that'll serve me well."

Two females stood up in rapid succession, "We're all chosen daughters who will serve you to the end!" Their loud voices filled me with confidence and I nodded firmly.

The two didn't sit down and instead moved over to one of the many piles of unused materials of which weren't thrown away into the great fire.

The women tugged heartily as they revealed a grand battle-axe, big enough to need two sturdy orcs to drag it over to the steps; utterly unable to lift it an inch of the ground as it'd left a wide trail-

Intrigued I moved to the bottom to have a closer look at the weapon.

Both females on seeing me close in crouched to a submissive stance, I stood next to axe, casually gripping the tool.

Curiously I leered at the closest female, here eyes steady even as my hefty, pendulous weights were right up in their faces, "they're trying so hard not to blush."

I thought as a devious grin arose on my lips.

Most orcs aren't like humans and prudish elves, with them you're liberated and free to wander as you are, but some carnal aspects will always make one question ones own needs and wants.

Clothes are an option but certainly something that's still comforting to don; or to simply showcase wealth.

And such an orc, clothed and well furbished stood beside the axe, she was a shaman, a witch of sorts with colourful tattoos covering parts of her body, adorned with jewelleries and trinkets.

"Qira... This axe is an offering, it's a treasured artifact from previous wars and a great soldier died wielding it facing overwhelming odds, no one has ably held it ever since his death, but it was kept in hopes that the great one would use it."

Putting my hand out again I felt the leather grip, it comfortably placed in my hand.

"You will use it to push back the vile humans... We fifteen are here to help you resurrect the clans, we're no special orcs, simply chosen women that are off age and fertile, if you wish it, we'll be the mothers of your offspring and your children shall carry forth our kin's will."

The shaman signalled for the others to stand.

"Will you cut through the devilish humans, crumble the mountains of the greedy dwarfs, destroy the archaic and selfish elves... We want our vengeance, through you we'll get it... This axe represents your ownership over all of us, we're yours to use. Our leader, our master. Our god!"

I didn't make a single grimace as I lifted the double handed axe; it felt great.

"Make that the matriarch!" I let out and swung the axe up and stopping, air formed into a blade and soared straight towards my intended target, splitting an unassuming vulture.

"I'll be the mother of all. The one who'll make this world bow down before us orcs, the exterminator of those I deem unfit. I hope you're all ready to make that a reality."

They watched in astonishment as I held the axe with just one hand, listening to my words as if enthralled by them.

As well as being amazed by the fact I could use the axe, it weighed nothing as I held it up, perfectly usable. But to them it was unbearable to even move about.

Seeing as the other women next to the shaman were practically spent after dragging it along.

The shaman was first to move and bowed again. "The matriarch. Our savior!"

The rest chanted along with me at their center, worshiped was something I could get used to.
