Xiao Tian nodded and stood at the center of the circle mentioned by Mu Qian Qian. He saw six black stones arranged in a hexagonal position with him standing in the center.

Xiao Tian didn't need to guess what these stones were, as he had read the novel countless times. They were called 'awakening stones' and were used to awaken martial souls.

" Now, soon you'll feel something wanting to come out of your body, don't stop it and let it out.".. said Mu Qian Qian with a friendly smile.

Xiao Tian and the other guardians were speechless at her choice of words. Yet, they still kept a stoic face.

Xiao Tian smiled and nodded at Mu Qian Qian as if nothing had happened.

Soon, Xiao Tian was covered in golden light inside the formation. Xiao Tian felt his martial souls excitement, and let them awaken without holding them back.

Xiao Tian suppressed the awakening of his devouring dragon martial soul and let his Crimson Vermillion Bird martial soul awaken. Xiao Tian absorbed as much awakening energy he could to supplement the delayed awakening for his second martial soul.

Mu Qian Qian was a bit confused as why it was taking Xiao Tian so long to awaken his martial soul.

Just as a frown was about to etch on Mu Qian Qian's face, a loud bird cry was heard and the temperature in the hall began to rise significantly.

The people outside were shocked by the cry and felt the temperature rise slightly.

At the center of the academy, at the top of the hill was a small hut. In this hut sat an old man who was wearing a luxurious black brocade robe. On the robe were designs of western dragons made from amethyst.

He was enjoying wine with his eyes closed. The old man was none other than the founder and dean of the academy the 'Shadow Dragon' douluo.

Wang Fan the dean, suddenly opened his eyes and looked towards the hall where Xiao Tian's Crimson Vermillion Bird martial soul was floating.

The Crimson Vermillion Bird absorbed all the flames and stood behind Xiao Tian. The bird's body was 1 m big with two 3 m wide wings. The 4 guardian were all dumbfounded and shocked at his martial soul.

" Th-this is a Mythical Beast martial soul.".. exclaimed Chen Feng losing his calm composure.

" It's the 'Vermillion Divine Bird'.".. exclaimed Wu Hao, with the same expression as Chen Feng.

" No, it's stronger than the Vermillion Divine Bird and is already a Quasi-God level martial soul.".. said Sun WuDao with flames in his eyes.
