23 Ice Jade Spider & Ice Soul Fruit

While Xiao Tian was conversing with the system, he heard a bird's cry, similar to the phoenix's cry from those donghuas which he watched on earth.

Soon, a huge 3 meter ice blue crane flew towards the demonic beast fire. Wherever the bird passed through was left with hexagonal snowflakes.

Xiao Tian was smart and had already known about his martial souls, so it didn't take long for him to realize what the bird in his soul space was.

Obviously, it was the Ice Luan.

Xiao Tian was surprised to see the martial soul's spirituality.

What Xiao Tian didn't know was, since the time he was born in this world, the two martial souls had been absorbing the aura emitting from his 'Primordial Supreme Undying Soul'. His two martial souls gained spirituality due to this, they were similar to the soul bodies of soul beasts, but much more condensed and stronger. The martial souls being Xiao Tian's were absolutely loyal to him. The martial souls would dissipate if Xiao Tian dies, even if they were spiritual.

The Ice Luan glanced at Xiao Tian and let out a soft cry.

Xiao Tian seemingly understood the Ice Luan and nodded at it. The Ice Luan asked if it could swallow the beast fire and evolve itself. Xiao Tian naturally agreed to it, as it won't of much use to him anyway.

The Ice Luan let out an excited cry and directly swallowed the demonic beast fire into it's mouth. The best fire was terrified and let out a desperate roar, trying to escape it's fate of being swallowed by the Ice Luan.

The Ice Luan snorted at the fire's last ditch effort and directly suppressed it with the power of ice. The beast fire was forcefully prisoned in the Ice Luan's mouth.

The Ice Luan glanced at Xiao Tian one last time and went back to the center of Xiao Tian's soul space. Xiao Tian could see the Swallowing Sky Serpent sleeping in the center of his soul space.

As if sensing Xiao Tian's gaze, the Swallowing Sky Serpent opened it's eyes and glanced towards Xiao Tian. Their eyes met each other, they stared at each other for a few seconds before Xiao Tian left his soul space. Only, then did the Swallowing Sky Serpent move it's gaze from where Xiao Tian previously was, and glanced at the happy Ice Luan beside it before closing it's eyes.

The Ice Luan released the beast fire and covered it's whole body with the flames. Soon, the Ice Luan was encased in a crimson orange fire cocoon. It was unknown when the Ice Luan would complete it's evolution and what it would evolve into.

Meanwhile, just as Xiao Tian left his soul space, Xiao Tian's consciousness was back to his body.

Just as Xiao Tian opened his eyes, the tear soaked Tian Shui hugged him tightly while crying softly.

Xiao Tian felt guilty to see his mother in such a state and hugged her back tightly.

" Tian'er, are you alright? What happened to the fire that entered your body?".. asked Tian Shui with a tired expression.

" Oh.. that ball of fire. It was destroyed by my martial soul in my soul space.".. said Xiao Tian, hiding some of the information.

" What?".. exclaimed Xiao Hai, Tian Shui, Ming Yue, Ling Shui and Zhou Qi. Clearly shocked by Xiao Tian's words.

Ming Yue, being well versed in the knowledge of martial souls, connected some points to put forward an explanation.

" I think Tian'er has a top grade martial soul, as top grade martial souls have a strong inheritance and can defend the master's soul space instinctively. So, the fire must have been destroyed by Tian'er's martial soul for invading his soul space. Also, seeing Tian'er without any internal or external injuries that's what should have happened.".. said Ming Yue to everyone present with an excited light in her eyes.

Listening to Ming Yue's explanation everyone felt reasonable. Xiao Tian's parents were happy to know their son had a top grade martial soul and decided to train him once they went back to the Holy Soul Village after getting their soul rings.

For now, they decided to not let Xiao Tian fight any soul beasts.

" Tian'er, you won't be fighting any soul beasts anymore.".. said Xiao Hai with a strict expression on his face.

" Yes dad.".. Xiao Tian knew that his parents were saying for his own good and nodded at his father's words.

Little Yun Yun wiped her tears and hugged Xiao Tian tightly.

" Big brother, Yun'er was very scared when you didn't wake up.".. said little Yun Yun with a scared voice.

Xiao Tian felt bad for continuously worrying the girl and making her cry.

" Yun'er, big brother promises not to be reckless anymore and play with you.".. said Xiao Tian with a warm smile and patted her little head.

" Hmmm..".. said little Yun Yun and closed her eyes in Xiao Tian's embrace. She was enjoying his warm hug ( this is a pure bro sis love, don't think anything dirty ). Little Yun Yun fell asleep in Xiao Tian's embrace due to her mental exhaustion.

Xiao Tian smiled wryly and picked her up in a princess carry, and strode towards the carriage. He slowly entered the carriage with little Yun Yun in his arms and lay her down on the soft seat.

Xiao Tian also felt exhausted and slept on the opposite seat.

The adults gave a meaningful smile to each other and decided to rest for the day and hunt for soul rings tomorrow.

Xiao Tian and little Yun Yun slept quite long and only woke up around 7 in the evening.

They later had a warm and nourishing dinner to recover from their fatigue.

Everyone slept peacefully after dinner with Zhou Qi looking after them.

The next day, Xiao Tian and the group had just reached the periphery of the inner region, when they heard loud sounds of fighting.

The group became alert and Tian Shui searched for the battle's source. Soon she saw two soul beasts fighting a few kilometers away from them.

Tian Shui became excited as she saw a 16,000 year old Ice Jade Spider and a 25,000 year old Iron Tailed Monkey. Clearly, the spider causing her to get excited.

" Hai Ge, first sister, second sister and uncle Zhou, a few kilometers to our northeast a 16,000 year old Ice Jade Spider and a 25,000 year old Iron Tailed Monkey are fighting each other.

The whole group became excited as they had found Tian Shui's fifth soul ring.

They quickly moved towards the two beasts and hid themselves to observe the battle.

Now that they were close, they could see a high grade herb called 'Ice Soul Fruit'. It was extremely useful for ice type soul masters, as it could increase their soul power by 3 levels below the ranks of soul sage.
