39 Colorful Treasure Mouse

Yang Xiao rushed at the Rampage Bull with his Volcanic Heay Ruler.

The Rampage Bull stomped it's hoof at the ground and charges at Yang Xiao with full speed.

Yang Xiao smashed the ruler at the bull's head heavily. The bull lost its balance and crashed to the ground.

Wu KongXuan took the opportunity and integrated with his martial soul. His muscles bulged and black stripes firmed on his arms. His palms became beast like with sharp black nails.

Wu KongXuan slashed his claws at the bull's hind legs to reduce it's mobility. The bull's hind legs had deep claw marks, it was bleeding blood like flowing water.

The bull gave a painfull shriek and completely went berserk.

The bull started rushing wildly at KongXuan. Yang Xiao smashed his heavy ruler at the bull's back with all his strength.

The bull was smashed to the ground unconscious. Yang Xiao's smash shattered the bull's spine as soon as it landed.

" Very good, It was a neat battle. Reducing the opponents mobility is the best move, it'll reduces the opponents speed and reactions by a lot. Make sure to attack opponents weak spots to land the most serious and grievous hits. This time, Yang Xiao already made the bull dizzy with his first strike giving KongXuan the opportunity to attack it. Next time, don't rush blindly at the opponents.".. said Xiao Tian with a serious expression.

Yang Xiao and the others nodded at Xiao Tian's words.

Since, the bull was already not far from death, Xiao Tian decided to keep it for their dinner.

Chen Feng who was witnessing all this in the dark was satisfied with their battle. It was already surprising that they weren't scared by the soul beasts and fought it head on without any injuries.

Xiao Tian and the others moved deeper into the forest. Along the way they met many soul beasts that were between 100-300 years old. They grouped up and defeated the soul beasts with ease.

The soul beasts below 100 years were left for Lu Yang and Hu Xiaomeng to deal with, as they were auxiliary system soul master's and couldn't fight the stronger beasts head on.

After 3 hours of venturing, Xiao Tian decided to rest and have a quick meal to recover their physical strength.

They are dry food that they brought with them and rested for half an hour before they set out again.

Murong Qing'er and Wu KongXuan couldn't fly in the air for long as they didn't have enough soul power to consume. So, they could only glide in the air for short periods and scout the area.

Murong Qing'er, who was gliding about the group saw a colorful rat 200 meters west near a rocky area.

" Big brother Tian, I saw a Colorful Treasure Mouse that seems to be around 300 years at 200 meters west.".. said Qing'er excitedly before landing in front of Xiao Tian.

" Good work Qing'er, you did well. Looks like Lu Yang's soul ring is settled.".. said Xiao Tian with a happy smile.

Lu Yang was very excited when he heard the word 'Colorful Treasure Mouse'. It was one of the best soul beast for auxiliary soul master's, as it provided one of the three attribute boosting soul abilities. The three attributes being strength, speed and defence.

" Let's go and help Lu Yang get his soul ring.".. said Xiao Tian with a smile to which the others nodded as well.

They quickly arrived in front of the Colorful Treasure Mouse, the mouse was 50 cm big and had metallic sharp teeth and claws.

It's eyes were blue colored. It's body gave of a colorful aura of red, yellow, blue, green and purple. The mouse got its name because of it's colourful aura. The mouse could also be used to search for treasures, as it has an innate attraction towards treasures. The level of treasures depended on the mouse's age.

Xiao Tian looked at the mouse and found out that it was a 333 years old Colorful Treasure Mouse. It was perfectly within Lu Yang's tolerable range.

" Qing'er and KongXuan, you'll be harrassing the mouse from air. Yang Xiao, Yun'er and Li Feng will attack the mouse from different directions.".. quickly commanded Xiao Tian.

The others nodded and did as they were told.

Yang Xiao attacked the mouse to attract it's attention to himself.

The mouse became angry and bit towards Yang Xiao.

Taking this opportunity Qing'er and KongXuan took out their weapons from soul ring and attacked the mouse at fast speeds.

The mouse didn't notice the air attack as it was focused on Yang Xiao. Even if it did notice, it ignored Qing'er and KongXuan as it was confident in it's defence.

Qing'er and KongXuan used their soul power to strengthen their weapons and attacked the mouse causing huge cuts on its back and leg. They were using guerrilla tactics to slowly exhaust the mouse.

Yang Xiao dodged the mouse's attacks as he didn't want to waste his energy in stopping it's attacks.

He was taking the mouse's aggro, so that the others could deliver powerful blows on its body.

Yun Yun whi hadn't moved yet, suddenly used the Seven Star Steps taught by Xiao Tian to rush in front of the mouse and thrust her Bright Moon Sword martial soul into the mouse's neck.

The sword although didn't have a soul ring was very sharp and with the blessing of soul power, it was able to pierce the mouse's neck easily like mud.

The mouse fell down on the ground trying to breathe.

" Lu Yang, quickly go and kill the mouse.".. shouted Xiao Tian as soon as he saw the mouse collapse on the ground.

Lu Yang didn't stand on ceremony and rushed towards the mouse to kill it quickly.

Lu Yang took a sword from his spatial ring and attached his soul power to the sword and thrust it into the mouse's chest. The sword pierced the mouse's heart, killing it in one strike.

Soon, a yellow soul ring was condensed above the Colourful Treasure Mouse's corpse.

Lu Yang, knew what to do and sat cross legged to absorb the soul ring.

It took him 45 minutes to absorb the soul ring. He became excited as he understood his first soul ability.

Looking at the excited Lu Yang, Li Feng became curious.

" Lu Yang, what's your first soul ability?".. asked Li Feng with a curious expression.

The others also asked Lu Yang about his first soul ring ability.

Lu Yang didn't want to keep the suspense long and told them.

" My first soul ring ability is called 'Strength Amplification' , it increases the user and others strength by 20% as long as soul power is sufficient. Each additional soul ring will increase the amplification by 10%.".. said Lu Yang with a proud smile.

Everyone was shocked and excited at the same time. Lu Yang's soul ability was very powerful. It was an excellent soul ability in team battles, as it could increase the others strength by 20%. Also, it could increase with each additional soul ring.

Xiao Tian and the others set off to look for other soul beasts. There were still a few hours before the sun sets.

Chen Feng who was following them, was surprised at their luck. It was very difficult to encounter a Colorful Treasure Mouse. They even hunted it for Lu Yang.

Chen Feng sighed and followed behind the children in dark.
