i have many times seen this story and read the Synopsis but every time i ended up turning it down, thinking nah its not for me. then for some weird reason 5 days ago i found it again, but this time i started reading it.. i wanted to give it a shot.. 1 chapter turn to 20 and then to 100, the more i read the more i love it.. for every chapter i read my emotions followed, crying sadness, laughs, smiles, even the yelling of me sometimes going "come on do already!" or "cant he just die?!".. 5 days later i found my self on chapter 1190.. and now... i love this story its becoming my fav.. i would have never predicted that.. so for this 1 i have to give 5 because i cant give 20.. even if i can score Translation, Stability of Updates, Story Development, Character Design, or the World Background.. i give it 20 because non of the above shows me where i can raid for how mush emotions this induces in me.. so left to say is only, ty so mush i love it<3

I just don't understand the setting of the world. It's such a weird mish-mash of different things the author found convenient. Robots came out of nowhere, artificial hail and rain that covers a huge area, super-genius programmer 5 year old, unrealistic hacking that makes no sense(A huge CEO is a top hacker for some reason). While it's an enjoyable trashy read, at some point it's just too hard to suspend your disbelief. It also gets tiring when everything in the story is reliant on unrealistic characters that just behave in spiteful manners for little reason. The author isn't capable of writing a plot that isn't driven by unreasonable characters. It's also like a recycled TV procedural where you can tune in for a decade of seasons of "will they, won't they" drama. That's a tired old trope that has been done way too much, and it wasn't even good to begin with. It seems like it's always only employed because the writer(s) are incapable of handling the changed relationship dynamic if they were to get together.

The story is very addicting and very exciting. There is a steady release and if you like romance/modern novels this will definitely make you binge read to the end.

I'm reading this again.. One of my all-time favorites here in Webnovel.. I sooooo love the storyline. The characters are well played, the translating quality is good.. I love the development of the story, as well as the development of the relationship of Ning Xi and Cabbage Lu.. I'm giving 4.9 points just for Little Bun and 0.1 for the rest of the factors.. 😉 It's humorous and dramatic and action-filled all rolled into one.. I'll never get tired of reading and rereading and rereading this..

I absolutely love this story and I need more please. There are no flaws and the attention to detail is superb, i dont know who translated the story but they did a fantastic job. I also loved how detailed the characters present and past lives were written. please write more chapters.

I’m so happy that I started reading this novel after reading the first 25 chapters in manhua. Since the manhua got me book on the story I decided to start reading the novel version since I can’t get the plot out of my head and I really like the main character:)

I'm my opinion, this is one of the best novels on Webnovel. It has everything I look for in a book: comedy, romance, face-slapping, tragedy, etc. I love that it makes me laugh out loud most days and anticipate more sweet moments or face-slapping scenes, but can still incorporate events in which I'm on edge and hoping from the bottom of my heart that no one gets hurt. I love this novel and I'm super invested in my favourite characters.

For the first time, I've found a novel where the heroine is not a pushover. Most of the romance novels I've had read were that of "Cinderella types", damsels-in-distress who needed some prince charming to aid them, coz let's admit - girls are meant to be protected, right? That has been the norm for romance. But in this novel, though the heroine is one who can hold her own, the "prince" here wasn't shaded altogether by the strength of the girl's character, and that was where the charm of this story lies. Our Ning Xi is on equal footing with our Lu Tingxiao, both protecting each other, hand in hand, facing all hindrances together, both strong-willed, but does not clash, instead compliments each other. Both with flaws, but when combined, becomes one perfect couple. This story, amongst all the romance novels out there, is the best read for me. I salute the author for giving birth to this gem of a story, as well as the translators for giving us readers the chance to delve into Ning Xi's and Lu Tingxiao's world. I am enjoying the journey, and I hope the others are too! Best of luck to everyone behind this!

great novel riveting plot. My final thought after conpletely reading the novel, is that the part about **** qidian should of had more **** qidian in it, the story wouldve been much more intense if more of that was added.
