Full Immersion Game(FIG) Adventures

In the year 2021, VR games became a thing of the past. Now, People enjoy the full immersion gear watches. This watch allows the user to immerse their whole body into the game. It’s the most advanced technology created known to humankind. But, truthfully, It’s only one of the greatest things Rin, my husband, has ever done. Not only did he allow people to immerse themselves inside the video game, but he also removed something he called the natural limiters. This allows the users inside to have unnatural abilities called potential. Each person has a different potential, so he also added a level system that allows the player to access a certain amount that potential with each level. A true genius of our time and I’m so proud to be his wife. But, if you ask me, why he built the gear, I couldn’t honestly tell you why. I mean he made trillions from the watch alone, but he was never the type to obsess over money. He’s very selective about the people who he hangs out with, so it’s not for friendships. Maybe it was something that he made on a spontaneously. Even as his wife, I don’t know him well, but I don’t care because I love him. He’s the one who made the impossible, possible with a push of a button.

Chapter 3

It's been an eventful day. I returned to a world that I thought I left behind. I remembered I realized I abandoned my son and daughter. Then, my idiotic brother tries to kill me, but instead ruins my marriage with Rin, the creator of the FIG interface. Not to mention, My friend, Rosa, just killed my son. Now, I'm just sitting here, in a depressed state, mourning over his nonexistent corpse and reminiscing in the past between me and my husband.

"What do you want to tell me?" I asked him.

"This world isn't what you think it is." He said to me.

I sat up, exposing everything, and looked at him with a confused look.

"What do you mean, sweetheart?"

"This world isn't a virtual world. It's an alternate world parallel to ours. However, there's one exception. This world acts like a computer. It enhances our bodies and minds to their peak potential, and allows us to do things like in a video game."

I just stood there silent as if his words couldn't process. He just told me some huge news. I couldn't believe it. He basically saying that he created another world. How was I supposed to take this!?

Then, I felt something rush across my face, snapping me out of my flashback.

"Snap out of it, Freya. We need you to opened the gate to Hell." Leader said.

"Give it up, Leader. She probably not willing to help us anymore." One of the girls said.

"Oh, she'll help. All we have to is convince her to do it." He said.

It's funny. A little bit over a billion people in this world, and I get stuck with the worst ones. I mean anybody could go to Hell using the quick travel function or the gate three thousand miles below the surface. But, they want to use me to open a portal. Talk about lazy and complete idiocy.

"Ridiculous," I mumbled to myself.

"What was that?" Leader asked.

"Leader, be caref-

I summoned a spike from the ground, which pierced Leader's body through vertically. The girls screamed while the guys stood there paralyzed. Then, I slowly gotten off my knees as Rosa begged for mercy. I smiled.

"Mercy? Did you give my son mercy? No, You killed him in cold blood."I said surprisingly calm.

I guess releasing my final limiters took away my ability to feel sympathetic for fools like them. Does this mean I've truly reached my full potential. I forgot how powerful I was back then. This feeling is almost pleasurable. The surges of power rushing throughout my body constantly. I ca-

"Freya, have you lost yourself so easily?" A familiar voice said as someone appeared. I turned around and saw him.

"R-Rin, why?"

"I felt V's life end on my way to Emi. What happened?" He said.

"Rosa and her party kkkkilled him." I said as I began crying again.

Then, something unexpected happened. Rin wrapped his arms around like old times. I thought he was still angry with me. But, I can tell from this hug, he stills loves me as much as I love him. Rin, I'm sorry for trying to deceive you. For lying to you about it for everything.

"I'm sorry." I said under my voice.

"There's no reason for you to apologize. I shouldn't have did what I did to you. I was just overwhelmed with emotion and lashed out at you. And, now you suffering. This is my fault." He said softly in my ear.

Hearing those words made me so happy, but all I could do was cry. Then, the ground beneath us began to crumble. Then, a hole opened up and everyone fell in the hole. This hole had two purposes; transport us the the hell gate at three thousand miles below and, hopefully, kill Rosa and her party. Sadly, it failed to kill them, but it did cause a bit of damage to them.

"Alright, this is the hell gate. Walk into it and you'll be in hell. Now if you don't mind I'll be taking my wife from this ridiculous party."Rin said.

That's weird. Rin never talked like that before. He always showed respect no matter who wronged him. That's one of the many things I love about him. Is he upset about losing V? Could this be a side effect of releasing his full potential all at once. Releasing all his mental potential must affect him in some kind of way.

"Sorry to tell you this, Rin, but your wife promised to help us with the event this year. So, she's staying with us. Not to mention, she did kill our leader, which leaves us very weakened state." Rosa said arrogantly and rudely.

"That's strange I thought Frey was her own person." Rin replied her comment.

Wait! He called me 'Frey'. He doesn't call me Frey. Rin knows how much I hate that name. Why would he call me t... I can't believe I fell for this. There's only two people I allowed to call me 'Frey', and not by choice. A player named Loki and my brother, Kevin. Last time I've seen Loki was a trip to the Mandorians Mines, to fight the some humongous bug terrorizing the Mandorians. By the way, to say they were bugs themselves, why would they be terrorized by a hu... never mind answered my own question. Anyways, we went our separate ways. So, this has to be. I jumped away from the imposter and gathered lighting in my hand. Then, I quickly stabbed the imposter through with my hand. This was one my skills I stole from a pretentious player who had the biggest ego, probably to compensate for something. I forgot what he called it, but it helped me out of though many situations. The imposter fell down and his body transformed.

"KEVIN! YOU BASTARD! Isn't it bad enough you ruined my marriage? Now, you're toying with my heart too? Do you get some kind of sick pleasure from this?"

"O-Of course not, S-Sis. I-I just want you t-to be h-happy." He struggled to said.

"Son of a... you dare to say that! I was happy with Rin, and you destroyed that in an instant."

Kevin laughed.

"Y-you're blaming m-me for that. W-was I the one who l-lied to that nerd, for what... nine years? No. Oh, that's right. You lied to him." He said.

Suddenly, I thought back to to yesterday. Rin was angry at me more than he was at Kevin. I've betrayed him and his trust for me. I used him for his money. I lied to him for so long. Kevin is right. It's all my fault. I-I destroyed our marriage.

I could help but fall onto my knees, and cry out.

"RRRRIIIIINNN! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I hurt you so badly! I broke your trust! Please forgive meeeeeeee!" I yelled, causing the ground to shake.

"Stop the crying, Freya. You scaring your people. A queen should never scare her people." Rin said as appeared in front of me.

As I looked up, Rin put his forehead on my forehead and said "Freya, I'm sorry." Immediately, I knew he was the real Rin. From the touch our head to the moment our eyes met, I recognized the man I fell in love with nine years ago was right here with me. No matter what anybody did or say, I knew this fact wasn't going to change.

"King Rin, Queen Freya, what shall we do about this fool?" a voice said, snapping me out of my happy moment. I looked over Rin's shoulders to see who snapped me out my happy time with Rin and I saw them. The Royal Guards, who served me. They were hand picked by me and Rin to serve as guardians for our children while we were on earth. However, they seemed different.

"Take him into custody." Rin said commandingly.

"I don't think so." Kevin said.

Suddenly, the Royal guards turned towards us. Their eyes were blanked out.

"Rin, what's wrong with them?" I asked.

"I think they were hacked by Kevin." He replied.

I didn't want to hear that coming from him. Last time Kevin hacked the FIG interface, he had almost unlimited power while we had to earn it. Luckily, that was during the time of the first event. But now, he hacked the most powerful NPCs in Hell. Even with the two of us fighting, we're still outnumbered.

"Alright, Sis, it's time to decide. Betray your husband and join us to take control over his company. Or die along with him." Kevin said.

Do he really believe that I'll betray Rin. Especially after trying to find him and fix our marriage. I will never betray him for anything. Even if that means going against my own brother.

Suddenly, Kevin summoned a gun to his hand, and shot at Rin. However, None of us expected what was going to happen next. I jumped in front of the bullet that was going to hit Rin, but he jumped in front of me. Then, we kept repeating the same thing in less than a second. Then, I felt the bullet pierce my heart. I fell to the ground as I looked at my husband's face one more time before I'm forcibly logged out.

"Freya!" Rin yelled as I slowly blanked out
