Surprise

~Celine POV~

Maelriel was silent on my back since he told me he still felt woozy from waking up from his blackout. I still felt guilty, so I told him to get on my back, but I didn't realize that having him on my back as penance would feel more like a reward. The way he snuggles on my neck when he's asleep is comforting. It's like he's already forgiven me and somehow knows that I still feel bad about it. I'll have to pamper him lots. It's just that I can't figure out how to spend more time with him without sacrificing any of my time training. What a head scratcher.

We used to spend lots of time reading together as small kids, but now I spend the day learning my way around weapons and trying to improve my magical repertoire. Protecting my little Riel from any potential threat is what's more important. I didn't forget about Mom, but something's different about her. There's this odd feeling that she can easily beat me in a magical duel and a weapon's spar without breaking a sweat. I just don't understand. My instincts are rarely wrong, but she's so loving towards Riel and me. The bottom line is, all Riel needs is me because I love him. There's nothing that can come between our love.

-Maelriel POV-

A few weeks have passed since the event with Celine. We definitely kiss a lot more now, and she's always eager, it seems.

Anyway, today, I'm at Aerin's place. She thinks I'm some sort of prodigy as what once was a way to curb her boredom gradually turned into a full on mentorship. She said she had a surprise for me today. Though it won't be erotic, I'm still plenty excited. What was initially an inkling of interest blossomed into passion. Ironically, I feel more relaxed here when compared to being home since I had to be more calculative with my moves there.

It looks like her surprise is ready. She excitedly told me to come to her living room. Covering my eyes with her hands, she shepherded me to the living room. When she finally uncovered my eyes, I got to see an elegant piano. It's not a modern piano, but an early version with only fifty-four keys. I've never seen one in person, and the delicate craftmanship that went into this piece of art absolutely blew me away. Something tells me I'll have to ask for one with eighty-eight keys later.

"Do you like it?" Aerin asked, her eyes full of expectation with sly undertones.

To dramatize my stupefied state, I shut my gaping mouth with one of my hands. "Un! Thank you so much!" I nodded furiously before giving her a quick peck on the lips and hugging her tightly while rubbing my cheeks against hers. I made sure she understood I loved her a lot.

My jaw hit the ground not only because the workmanship was magnificent, but also because this period was in the medieval ages. I'd never thought pianos had existed yet. Magic had stunted the growth of studying the sciences. I suppose it hadn't stunted the arts and literature.

Aerin's eyes widened for a moment from my kiss. I'd always been really affectionate with her, so she didn't think too much about it.

"I'm glad you like it. I had it made at the capital just for you. Look here-" she pointed at the side where my name was carved in flowing italics.

"Where's Teacher's name?" I asked.

"This is yours, silly. It represents all the hard work you've done until now."

"But this isn't only my work! Everything I know is because of Teacher's hard work!" I said while looking sad. "It's unfair to you," I said while tugging at her dress.

It seems like my words touched her, as she stared at me like I was an angel.

"Oh my~, just how sweet can you get! I'm so lucky that I met you that day, my little Riel." She pulled me into another hug, burying my face in her big, soft tits. I breathed in the sweet milky scent of her breasts and tried to cup her breasts to get a better idea of just how huge these milkers were. She didn't seem to notice as she then stood up.

"Wait here, okay, Riel? I'll be right back with some snacks," she said before gliding to the kitchen.

Oh? It's already afternoon, and I usually leave around this time. Aerin seems to be in a good mood, so I don't mind skipping some magic practice today. I played some pieces on the harp before she returned with some butter cookies and milk. Really? There's only one kind of person who sits in her house reading books and playing music all day. She's the definition of a lady from a rich family.

After some time, we bid our farewells. I told her I wanted to leave the piano at her place since that is where I would play it most of the time. There's also the fact that transporting it is extremely tedious.

As I walked home, I thought about what had happened today. All these things around Aerin happened because I'd forgotten that I needed money to buy an instrument. In hindsight, it's pretty funny. A stupid mistake was the one that led me to this angelic woman. I'll be including her in my plans as well. Some steamy teacher-student action will be something to look forward to. Since she loves instruments so much, I have a nice clarinet she can explore. If her upper mouth gets tired, she can use her lower one to its full advantage. I'll make sure we produce a musical masterpiece. Then I'll repaint her lower mouth and resting chambers with my instrument. She'll feel my gratitude as I strive to claim every nook and cranny. Deep. I'm only a thoughtful disciple caring for his dear mentor, after all.

When I got home, Mom and Sis were already back.

"Welcome back, Riel. You're here a little later today," Mom commented.

"Well, Teacher had a surprise for me!" I chimed.

"What was it?"

"She called it a piano. It was so pretty and looked expensive, so I was really grateful."

"Oh? Your teacher is a woman?" Sis asked.

"Un! She's super nice!"

Celine went quiet, biting her lips in deep contemplation. Since I came home late, I didn't have time to practice magic, so I waited for the sun to set before heading to the room I still shared with Mom.
