58 Chapter 57- Lockeroom fun~1

Body enhancement helps Minoru to strengthen any part of his body, internal or external.

So to make his place in the team, he reinforced his eyes and legs to gain a considerable result.

The assessment involved the players striking penalty kicks and Minoru had the task of not letting the ball enter the net.

Minoru hadn't played soccer before but the instruction of a goalkeeper was easy....well, simple enough to get him to pass this test and become a part of the team.

The first person to take the penalty was Shio, who was standing almost near the midpoint of the field. There was no barricade of players and just Minoru to stop the ball.

Wearing the goalkeeper gloves, Minoru crouched down a little as he nodded for the player to shoot.

Shio took a small run-up before he kicked the ball which flew toward Mioru in an arc; aiming toward his left.

Minoru's eyes detailed the ball advancing in slow motion, allowing him to easily jump toward the ball and punch it away. Thankfully, he wasn't reinforcing his arms or that would have flown out of the school.

"Wooooah!"

"Reflexes...damn..."

"Look at those thighs..."

"Nice save!"

Ignoring one of the perverts openly admiring the pearly skin of Minoru, the coach complimented the boy and told another player to hit the ball from a closer range this time.

Minoru barely caught the narrowed gaze Shio directed at him before he went back to the others.

Soon another player jumped on the field and took a stance a little closer than before and hit the ball. Naturally, Minoru caught it easily without moving much.

Another round of cheers, followed by another penalty kick.

Only after the fourth penalty was safely caught when the team captain and the person on whom Minoru had set his eyes—Tsukishi Sato, entered the field.

The ace of the football team, who has received the most number of confessions up to this day, also was titled the most desirable bachelor of the school. His looks were naturally above average with a small cut on his left brow and his domineering physique attracted many girls.

However, Sato has never heard of dating someone which made Minoru even more interested in the guy.

Licking his lips, Minoru grinned as he crouched slightly and offered a suggestive look to Sato.

The said boy was a bit taken aback, but he soon coughed and regained his composure as he situated the ball just near the same mark from where Shio shot.

Taking a small run-up, the redhead kicked the ball, at a far greater speed and turn compared to others.

Minoru showed great urgency before he took three small steps toward his left before jumping enough to reach the corner of the post.

Punching the ball, he landed on the ground, and he heard the gasps and cheers from the audience. Not only the team members but some of the students, who were passing by also saw the safe and were left astounded.

With his arms crossed over his chest, Sato also acknowledged the fact that this new one had a talent for goalkeeping.

"What do you say, Sato?" As the captain, it was Coach's duty to take his words on the matter. And as the older one thought, Sato gave a favorable response,

"He's good."

As such, the team finally got their eleventh man.

After the trials, the teams were divided into two, and a short match was played with Minoru also participating.

The game went one-sided and Sato along with Shio and Minoru as a goalkeeper dominated the field and won the match with a score of 3-0.

"Good game, everyone. Ryo, you need to look out for that jab, alright? That seriously can cause us trouble someday." As the team minus some members walked back toward the locker room, Sato warned one of the players for his rash behavior on the field.

The said boy just nodded in understanding as they chatted casually about the upcoming match and all.

Shio, just like always, had already left with his girlfriend, and two other boys were seen meeting with their girlfriends near the stand before they just disappeared.

Now that Sato realized, Minoru also wasn't anywhere to be seen, even though he was there until the very end. However, he didn't ask others given how it could be counted as his growing interest toward the new boy.

And Sato really was just interested in Minoru as a player, and nothing more. After all, he was completely straight.

Once they entered the locker room, Sato got rid of his t-shirt, preparing to go into the shower.

"Hey cap, use this body wash. It's fragrance is nice." Sato caught the bottle his teammate threw before he took the towel and unlocked the nearest shower room to him...

...only to find his eyes widening upon seeing someone already occupying it.

"Captain?" Seeing Sato freeze the others began to approach, which urged the redhead to step inside the shower and lock the door hurriedly.

The others didn't pay much attention to it and continued their chatting, however, inside the shower room where the redhead entered, heavy silence ensued.

Right in front of Sato's eyes stood the same boy he was thinking about. However, the state of the boy was something that made Sato gulp in nervousness.

Today...he was going to affirm whether he was really straight?
