Chapter 1: PILOT:

Under the dark night sky, on the bed of cold breeze someone is lying on the terrace in a black hoodie, he then looks at the time and realize it will be morning soon and he better be getting ready for another day at school. Going through the routine, the breakfast table gives an early morning warning for another surviving day. He takes a bus to the school, sometimes maybe his dad's car, in the bus he sits on the window with music in the ears, inspiring to live a day more and fight whatever happened in the past. While on the way he sees something, when the traffic light got red, there stopped a frustrated man in a luxury car and a tired sad person on a bike alongside the bus, he notices both the riders and notes down a line in his small book- "what gives us the happiness? Money, power or lust". After reaching the school he now takes a deep breath and gets ready to face all the people he doesn't hate but don't like either, except one, Amelie, she is a nice girl, maybe there is a connection? What do we know, right? "Wassup, Noah" you look fresh(sarcastically)" Amelie approached. "Just tired from a weird night" Noah replies. "Did you get the new gamer tag band that released last week?" Amelie asks. "No, I don't want it, I don't even like this gaming anymore, also the band I have if fine, works for a watch too" Noah replied.

The era has changed but some people don't change, they just adapt, like Noah. The virtual reality gaming has topped the heights. Every teen in the school and around now has their gamers tags with them- like wrist bands, rings, flip ID's, gadgets or we can say tag like this gets developed time by time like a new phone launching if we put it in another example. These gamer tags hold a person's respect, strength, abilities from a virtual game which they use as a social IDs among the gamer community in real life. The gaming companies came together to develop such a gaming experience which allow player to simulate everything like he sees in real life and give such an experience that a gamer is now able to simulate the game in the live world still sitting at the same place, through a gaming seat which allows a player to move in real world and simulate the game's storyline there along with other players joined in the community, these games are too dangerous for human mind, so before the release every game is being for months by testers to make sure it is safe for long term play, it's kind of a corporate industry.

Noah's dad was game tester too, he was writer before, his father wrote such a psychotic game story that when the game was developed on it was personally under testing of his father so that to know if it's perfect or not, but the game had some defect because of his father's brain died, the game coding was destroyed and family compensation was made with a money or death choice, doesn't seem like choosing death when you have a kid, so his mother chose money, which made them survive after his father's death. He didn't play ant game after it for years now.

They walk together to the lockers and then leave for their classes as the school bell rings. Noah enters the class and finds the math class was cancelled, he goes to the canteen gets himself a water bottle and spots the perfect corner table to wait till the next class. After taking a seat, he puts his bag on table, plugs in his earphones and discreetly takes two hits from his dab pen. After scrolling on feed some time, he reaches to have some water, he observes a professor having his meal alone on a table and was he was looking at another table with a group of professors and the eyes were saying how desperate the other professor was to be included in the group, seeing this Noah suddenly relate it to the morning thought he had in the bus, he then started to connect it all to his sadness and pain, he starts to dig again in his past, after some time, the school bell goes off and he comes back from his subconsciousness, grabs his bag and get to the class for the next lecture. Between the class he gets a text from Amelie to skip the last class today and go their spot for smoke up; PS: get the new tag for Noah. They went to the hills, to their smoke up spot, the beautiful look to the city from above, on top of the car, glazing into the sky, Noah passes the joint to Amelie, listening to lo-fi hip-hop music, Noah asks the same question to Amelie which he has been thinking since morning, "what is happiness for you" Noah asks; "that's a tough question, to answer in proper words, but I feel I don't have to get or seek happiness, right? Like it's not a skill to learn, so my happiness stays until some bad vibe enters my zone and then I kick it out so I'm fine again, if you get what I mean" Amelie replied. "Hmm, good thought, I guess everyone make their own theories to make their days less trouble", Noah replies. "Yeah right, or maybe this pot is some intellectual strain, I don't know" Amelie replies, both started laughing softly." your smile covers pain, I can tell, like you hide something strong, maybe I'm wrong" Amelie comments. Amelie's phone rings and she remembers that she has to get home as her parents are getting back home from a vacation. Before that, she asks Noah to quickly drive to the game shop near her house and don't argue over it for now. They get to shop, Amelie picks up the new gamer tag and a new game code that she has just started playing- "I know you don't play but please give this game a shot for me, will hit you up at night, bye!" Amelie leaves the store to walk to her house. Noah gets home, gets in his room, rolled up a mini joint and played some music behind while smoking it up. He picks up the game code and scans it with his gamer tag to know what is it even about. Apparently, Amelie texted him at the same time to get back online and play the VR game with her. They put on their VR headgears and moves inside the gaming world, connected in the game room, they can talk to each other through the mics whenever in a 200ft connectivity reach inside the game. The start to play the game, at start struggles a bit to find each other, but finally does, and visits the city carnival as the night got too charming to waste other ways. They were enjoying there, Noah not so much, after some time, Noah asked Amelie that what is the game really about, Amelie then tells that's it's a new city simulation game, the rides that we rode in the carnival and the laughs we had kind of increases our life bar, all the things you do will affect your "chakra" and "karma" bar which help them accomplishing missions. After it, they leave the carnival and follow the map on their gamer tags to reach the first mission, they stop by in between to have some food. While waiting for the order, "this game seems like every other simulation game, I don't even know why I agreed to play," said Noah. "We haven't even done anything yet! And even if it is the same, we are playing together for the first time, so you better fix that, alright" Amelie replies. They then move towards their first task, which was to join the training centre and learn the fundamental battling tricks and survival tips. now after they are out of the training they know some martial arts, spiritual power control and are now able to discover their powers while on the journey. They look at their chakra and karma level in the gamer tags and sees a good development after the training. But the clock has already past midnight, "I should really be going to sleep, got some work early morning, are you liking the game though?" said Amelie, "ya, its fine" Noah replied. "Good, so we will play again tomorrow, see ya in school" Amelie leaves the game room. Noah stretches his arms, looks at the watch, roll and blow a spliff and again starts to get the images of the horrifying time when he lost his father, how the best ever possible game took his life. After he finished smoking up on the terrace, he gets back in his room, put backs all the stuff and then get to the kitchen to get some water, after having the water, he moves to his father's office, the place where it all begun. He sits on the chair and look up in the computer to find something interesting about what really went wrong, what did that game really have? While searching for some document or something he finds the setup of game itself, he doesn't have any idea if it's the game setup. He installs and run it, as soon as the game screen pops up and Noah looks the name, he certainly knows that this was the game which changed his life, he froze for some time and then exits the game in terror and anxiety. Gets back in his room and now only having one question in mind- "should I or should I not?".
