Chapter 7 Home for the little Whitewing and future POV

(The name Whitewing was actually inspired by the Deathwing from warcraft.)

How to hide you guy, as I said it is needed to hide you in water because vikings would never check for dragons in a lake, but some lakes are used to wash, that is actually not very common, but if someone found a dragon while swimming… Better don't think about it.

I actually was sitting in front of the dragon that was playing with an apple on the table. He was trying to bite it, but the form of the apple didn't allow him to do it, causing the apple to roll on the table. This dragon's suffering started to annoy me, so I took the apple and cut it into 4 parts. Whitewing sniffed one and made a bite, but it seems that he didn't like it at all.

- So you don't like apples. - Whitewing only sneezed in response. I took the other 3 parts and ate them, the dragon was looking like I hacked the world. - That is just an apple, humans like to eat apples.

Whitewing tried to eat an apple another time, but I stopped him and gave him some meat, which was fastly devoured.

Whitewing, seems to think sometimes, and, coming to the conclusion that maybe something normal, started to rub at my hand, asking for being petted. I petted him a while, after that Whitewing laid down on the table and disappeared. I kept petting him, but I could not see it anymore.

It seems that this dragon didn't make their egg explode. After that I took some things, my backpack and a fishing rod. It would be easy to convince everyone that I'm going on fishing, and I will really do it.

I need to find a place for the little Whitewing. It has to be a little lake or big pond with fish and have to be safe. Now when I was ready I took Whitewing.

- Is better for you to be quiet if you don't want to die. - And put it in my backpack.

Gobber allowed me to go fishing and I went to see for a good secret place for a dragon.

After a few hours I found it, a perfect place for a little Whitewing, is 1 and half hour from the village, that means that there will be no normal vikings, the pond I found is actually too far from the habitat of wild animals of the Berk like boars or others, so here will be no hunters. The problem is that the pond is not very big, but is better than nothing and it will be a good place for Whitewing to grow till it will be strong enough to protect himself.

All the path since I left the village to the founding of this pod I had Whitewing in my shoulder, so he was seeing a lot of things, while walking I explained him a lot of things, I don't really believe that he would understand me, but hey, the Deadly Nadder I faced understood me, so why my Whitewing may not?
