I believe we haven't met so let me introduce myself. I am Daphne Draeden, one of the princesses of Dnuiran and the next in line for the throne. I am a three hundred years old and I've been trained to take over the throne from my father since I learned how to do basic things normal kids do.

It may not be a long time for the average person but to me it has been a very long time. Too long in fact and imagine my facial expression when after all the long years of training my parents still tell me I've got a lot to learn. Just imagine my expression and yes you guessed it. Not good.

I'm not straight as a matter of fact I am a core lesbian. It took a long time for me to come out to my parents and imagine my surprise when I sat them down and told them "Hey mum, dad I'm a lesbian."

And the response I got left me shook. Their response and I quote was "Took you long enough. You sure took your sweet time coming clean."

"I'm sorry. You said what now?"

"Oh please. We're your parents and we have lived long enough to know the signs when we saw them." My mother said while rolling ger eyes at my said ridiculousness.

"Since it knew a long time ago and I officially just came out to you I also wanna say I am not looking for a serious relationship anytime soon."

"So what you're saying is that you're breaking girls hearts everyday or every week? A typical playgirl?"

"Ah that's pretty much it. Thanks a lot mum for confirming it."

"I can see you passed it down to your daughter as well. You better correct that or we'd have a problem."

"I know what it feels like to be played since you basically played me even when you knew I was your mate. Daphne, you won't be following your father's footsteps. Hear me?"

"Yes ma'am." Damn the woman's scary!!

I have my own firms away from the kingdom and some other parts of the world. Of course after my two hundredth year old birthday I decided what's best for me rather than just preparing to take over I decided to add more.....interests.

We don't lack money as I come from a home of selfmade billionaires that's without my parents money. I love the color black, black sport cars etc I'm obsessed with gadgets and why does this sound like an introduction? Oh wait! It is.

As for the reason why I'm three hundred years old without a mate, it's pretty simple actually. I blocked my scent well that's one of the reasons and the other reason is that I'm pretty sure I haven't come in close range contact with my mate yet and even if I do right now I don't know what I'd do.
