Delta Squad sat in their Quinjet on the way to Nebraska. They sat around a table with a hologram up while Black Widow gave them all a briefing.

"This is our maiden voyage. Hopefully, all 7 of us make it back alive."

Dagger raised her hand when she heard that

"I'm sorry, 7?"

Black Widow smiled at Dagger and nodded

"Yes, 7. We usually end up losing a Quinjet on every other mission. So the likelihood of us having to walk back or catch a ride back with the SHIELD agents we are rescuing is about 50%."

Cloak and Dagger looked at each other before turning their attention back at Black Widow. Both were thinking that maybe the woman was the cause of the destroyed Quinjets.

"Anyway, here is where we are going," Black Widow said as she pointed a 3D model of the HYDRA base in front of them. "We will be splitting into 3 groups when we get.

Human Torch and She-Hulk will be partnered together. Your job is to be the distraction. Get all their attention on you. If anyone is getting shot at, I expect it to be you 99% of the time.

Jack Frost will be the other 1% of the time. Your job is to secure the SHIELD agents. Out of the 10 that went there, 6 are currently in a safe-ish location. The other 4 are stuck in the middle of a kill zone with little cover. You need to make sure they get out of that kill zone and all 10 agents retreat to safety until it is time to leave.

Cloak and Dagger are with me. While the agents were supposed to destroy the base, they were also tasked with getting some classified information. The agents failed to achieve either task so the 3 of us shall get the info. I want us to be in and out within 5 minutes. Longer than that and the chances of us getting caught go up over 10 times.

Set your radio frequencies to SHIELD frequency 104.5 and Delta. Cut off even Avengers Tower. You need to focus on the comms between us and the agents there. If there is anything else that needs to be told, I will let you know. Everyone good?"

The others nodded. Black Widow assigned them tasks that they were most suited for so they had nothing to complain about. 10 minutes later, the Quinjet's alarm started blaring.

"We got missiles incoming. Frost, Torch. Get out there and handle them," Black Widow ordered

Johnny began heading toward the backdoor when Jack grabbed his shoulder and shook his head. He then phased them both through the floor of the jet.

Once outside, Johnny yelled "Flame on!" before his body was lit on fire and his codename made much more sense. The pair quickly went after the missiles that were coming towards the jet. Whether it was a fireball or ice shard, they all went after their targets and prevented any damage to the Quinjet.

[Nice job, you two. Frost, go ahead of us and take care of the anti-air aimed at us. Then go complete your task. Torch, you stay on us in case any get past him.] the pair heard through the comms

[Roger, roger] Jack replied before kicking into overdrive and flying ahead. It took him only a few seconds before he arrived above the base.

The HYDRA base was a 3 story farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. Jack could see 4 anti-air turrets in total.

He created several ice spears that were over 4 feet long and a foot in diameter before sending them toward the turrets. Each one of them exploded moments after being struck down.

'That takes care of that job.'

Jack saw the place where the 4 agents were pinned down. They had overturned a tractor and were using it as cover but several HYDRA agents were approaching from their blind spots.

Without giving it much thought, Jack surrounded his body in cold energy before flying straight toward the ground in front of the tractor. When he landed, the energy exploded out and created a blast wall in front of himself that also pushed back and froze the HYDRA agents.

Once he made sure they were protected from the front, Jack created a pair of walls parallel to each other. Each of them was 20 feet tall, 2 feet thick, and 1000 feet long.

[Go! Fall back to the other agents.] Jack commanded the SHIELD agents that happily complied with his orders Jack watched the agents run along the path he created for them while he heard the bullets ringing out behind him.

'And that completes that job. I really think that these guys underestimate my powers just cause of my name.'

When the Quinjet closed in the base, all those on board were shocked by what they were seeing. The ice constructs Jack created were bigger than anything they had seen of him before.

'Hmm. We need to test these guys. I wonder what else these other new guys can do,' Black Widow mentally began preparing to tor...find out just what those guys were made and capable of.

The jet landed next to where the SHIELD agents had taken shelter at. The Avengers then descended and began their assault on the base.

[Change of plans. She-Hulk, Frost, and Torch are in charge of taking down the HYDRA agents. SHIELD agents provide covering fire. We are going to complete the mission you were originally sent on.]

Inside the home, Crossbones was looking at the Human Torch descended from the sky, She-Hulk charging forward, and Jack Frost who fly over his ice wall. Seeing that these 3 were out of his paygrade, he decided to send in the big guns.

"Clayton. There's a Hulk out there. Go put it down as well as its friends."

An inconspicuous man looked up from the chair he was in as a predatory smile formed on his face.
