After getting fitted and told that the uniform would be ready within a week, Lilith drove the pair to the academy. After passing through the city, they drive another 20 minutes to reach the large school grounds.

Jack's jaw fell to the ground when he saw the gates of the school. It did not look like the entrance to any school that he had seen before but instead looked as if they were visiting the private property of royalty.

The rest of the school was also impressive visually. It had to be at least 2 square miles. All the buildings looked old yet renovated which gave them a sense of antiqueness and modernness.

There was the main school building that housed most of the classes, the gymnasium that had private trainers, a spa, and 2 Olympic pools within, the canteen that was 3 floors with unique dining experiences on each one, and finally were the dorms. There were 4 dorms divided by grade levels and then the Excellence Dorm that was situated next to the headmaster's dorm.

"The Excellence Dorm was originally reserved for royalty that attended the school but Ms. Frost has planned to let this be where all of her mutant students will stay.

It is less of a dorm and more like a small mansion. There are 9 private bedrooms that come with their own bathrooms, a den area, a private kitchen, a pool, and your own training facilities in the basement.

The Excellence Dorm also has its own staff that will clean, do laundry, and cook for you all, unlike the other students. This is a benefit that you all shall receive for being members of the new team under Ms. Frost," Lilith explained as they passed by the dorm

Jack's jaw hadn't been picked up since they first arrived on campus but this shock was still too much for him. He was used to sharing a single bedroom with 4 other kids and heard that was how most dorms operated. He did not expect to have his own room in a mansion as well as staff to take care of him.

Jack's view of Emma changed in an instant. From 'a mysterious woman that could barely be trusted' to 'a complete and total wastrel of a rich woman.'

Emma saw the way Jack was looking at her and laughed.

"One must know how to retain the loyalty of those beneath them. If I gave them the same treatment as all the other students, will they think of themselves as special?" Emma questioned "I understand you have never had money like this before but you will in the future. I will be teaching how to earn such money and use it wisely. This is how you will learn to act with finances in the future as well, Jack."

Jack nodded at her words and felt what she said was right. He was looking at it from the eyes of a poor person instead of a rich lady like herself. The beginning of what she said also made sense.

'Like when I got student of the month at school. I got no benefits but had a target painted on my back from other students being jealous of me. If I am going to stand out, I should at least get something for it.'

The car pulled up outside of Emma's dorm. It was the same size as the Excellence Dorm but Emma was staying there all by herself instead of having 8 others staying in the empty rooms like Jack was. Her home, instead of being brown in color, was all white which fit the woman's esthetics.

Jack was about to go to the trunk and get his stuff when Emma stopped him.

"Don't worry about that, Jack. Lilith will bring it to your dorm. We need to get started with something," Emma said before walking toward the side of the building

Jack followed behind her without a word. Once on the side, the group entered through an entrance on the side that led to the basement. When they arrived at the bottom of the stairs, there were dozens of cages, kennels, and jars sitting there. Jack could see all the ferocious animals Emma had ordered as well as the ones he was looking up online.

"You saw what I was looking up on my phone?" Jack asked without turning his eyes away from the animals in front of them. This was his first time seeing such animals up close so it was a unique experience for him

"Yes. Perks of owning the plane and wi-fi someone else is using. Don't worry. I only cared about what animals you wanted and did not want to waste any time waiting to get them. Whenever you were looking up something, not about animals, the link would turn off."

Jack nodded and approached the first cage. It had a wolf with beautiful grey fur on its body. The wolf also appeared very healthy as well. Like it was plucked straight from the wild.

Each of the other large animals appeared the same as well. They all looked as if they were the alphas of their packs before they had been kidnapped and brought before Jack.

Jack turned his head towards Emma and asked, "So now what do we do?"

Emma laughed before grabbing a knife laying next to one of the cages.

"You're going to kill it, of course. Your shell should protect you, your strength should make you overpower them. But if you are going to walk down this path, you need to take lives with your own hands. This is what ambition is," Emma explained

Jack gripped the knife and nodded.

'I need to kill it. If I want to not end up as a nobody in the future, I need to kill it and get stronger.'

Emma nodded and stood to the side. She pressed a button on her phone that opened the cage. Once it was open, the wolf was loose, and the battle between man and beast had begun.
