98 Issue #4

For Rachel and Stella, the next few hours were a whirlwind. From being poked and prodded by Beast to confirm their relationships with their parents, their parents asking thousands of questions, and the other X-Men asking even more after hearing about the terrible future that they hailed from.

Seeing all that they were going through, Jack felt pity for the pair. After all, they had been through, to have to recount everything over and over would indeed be tiring.

"That's enough, all of you. Logan, how would you feel if I kept asking about wife 1-4? And Scott. How would you feel if I asked about the plane accident over and over?" Jack questioned the pair as an example

Both of the men had looks of anger on their faces when they heard these topics being brought up but they understood why Jack had said what he said. The others also understood and soon gave up their interrogations.

After that, the two young women were released and able to head back to their rooms. As soon as they got back to their rooms, Stella collapsed onto one of the beds.

"That was so exhausting. Almost as tiring as that time we fought Sentinels for 2 days in a row," Stella's muffled voice came from the mattress

Rachel laughed seeing Stella like this. The woman was one of their strongest members but having to talk with people was her greatest weakness.

Rachel flipped Stella over before kneeling down in front of her. She then started to unzip and unbutton Stella's knee-high boots before she took them off.

Rachel was about to help her take off some more of her clothes so they wouldn't wrinkle in her sleep but Stella stopped her.

{Don't. What if they are still watching us? I don't want my parents to find out about us yet.} Stella pleaded over their telepathic connection with watery eyes

Looking at the one called the 'Untouchable Queen' acting so shy and coquettishly, Rachel felt the strings of her heart being tugged. Her urge to tease Stella grew.

"I don't want to be that person but you do remember that your dad read my mind, right? And although he skipped over our R-18 moments, he still has a pretty good idea of what our relationship is," Rachel said with a playful smile on her face

Hearing her say that, Stella grabbed a pillow before screaming into it.

'Oh my dad! How could I forget that? How could I be so stupid? I should have let the Professor or someone else read her mind. Why did I let my dad do it?' Stella was thinking of a million of things that she should have done instead of letting her dad read her lover's mind.

Seeing Stella panic, Rachel wanted to laugh but knew that might push the woman over the edge.

"Don't worry. Your dad is like the coolest person ever, pun intended. You just need to relax," Rachel tried to calm Stella down but it wasn't working too well

It took Rachel 30 minutes to finally convince Stella to stop thinking about it and relax. They were both of the softest beds they had been on in years. Once they stopped thinking about their parents, their reaction to their relationship, and the future they came from, the women were finally able to fall asleep in each other's arms.

While the duo was sleeping, Jack was with Emma in their room.

"So what do you think about her, Emma?" Jack asked while watching Emma do her nightly routine

Emma shrugged her shoulders in response.

"I already have 5 daughters that I don't remember giving birth to. What's one more?"

Jack was stunned once again that day. When he thought about it from Emma's perspective, the woman had no reason to feel awkward about having another daughter. So he moved on to another topic.

"I see. And what about their story? Are you worried?"

Emma stood up from her vanity before dragging Jack down to bed with her. The pair began to snuggle. It was only after she got comfortable that Emma decided to answer.

"Now that you know about it, will you really let it happen? Without warning, you were able to tie with a Celestial. Now that you know about the danger that is coming and what sort of power they have, will you really just sit by and let history repeat itself?" Emma questioned Jack instead of directly answering his question

But what she said had cut to the point. She wasn't worried at all since she knew that Jack wouldn't let the same thing happen once again.

Glad that she was so confident in him, Jack kissed Emma's neck before slowly moving down her body. The pair had a night of passion with one another.

The next morning, Jack woke up first. He let Emma sleep in the bed while he went down towards the Danger Room.

'Been a while since I have gotten these new powers. I guess it is time for me to use them properly,' Jack thought to himself before activating the room's advanced holograms so he would not end up destroying the room.

'Let's start with upgrading my long-range attacks. If I combine [Chaos Orbs], [Dragon's Breath], [Poison Breath], and [Optic Beams], that should create something interesting.'

Jack used [Fusion] on the 4 powers he thought of which created a new power that made him very pleased.

Looking at the new power he got, Jack smiled. This was indeed something that would be very useful for him in the future. Although he could control dark energy with his [Spirit of Black Frost], he was lacking in raw destructive power. This more than made up for that.

But after looking at his power and the ones he currently had, Jack felt a bit disappointed in himself. Ever since he joined the Avengers, the number of powers, skills, and abilities he had been getting had decreased by a large margin.

'Ugh, my daughter could not have come at a worse time. After she gets settled, I need to take a week off to hunt down some new prey.'

While Jack was thinking of who he wanted to hunt, he also programmed the Danger Room to create a Master Mold hologram for him to test out his new power on.

The Danger Room created a giant sentinel that was over 30 meters tall. As soon as it spawned, the Master Mold began creating a few dozen sentinels.

Seeing his prey in front of him, Jack let a vicious and predatory smile appear on his face. Two small portals opened up beside Jack's head before they both fired beams of energy at the Master Mold.

Several Sentinels tried to get in the way of the beams but when they did, they were evaporated or disintegrated without slowing down the attack at all.

When the beams came into contact with Master Mold's body, they pierced through his heavy armor and deep into the Sentinel's chest before causing a massive explosion.

When the smoke cleared, the entire body of the Master Mold was destroyed as well as 1/4 of a mile around its body.

'Oh, yeah. I need to improve on these a little more though.
