CHAPTER 24: GETTING ACCLIMATED TO TROUBLE (EDITED)

I won't bore you all with the long details, so long story short, they let me go. But only if I had someone monitoring me every couple of hours or so. Naturally I had some conditions, cause no one wanted to be spied on 24/7, literally. We know how bad they can bed.

So keeping me close they, chose their own quarters where the major base was. So that they can keep tabs on me. A smart, yet retarded move if I say so my myself. But all this process meant that I could live a somewhat 'normal' life here on earth.

Yes. After another couple hours of questioning and such, they agreed to let me stay here since I was no harm, just only under the condition that I live at the base, and if I do leave the city, I can go anywhere as long as I return to the base within a week with monetization. A bit intrusive, but I agreed with it.

The living quarters they gave were decent. It was a 5x5 space with a bed, closet, bathroom, and kitchen. Essentially a plain flat. It was enough for a basic life; I suppose.

While I was there, some heroes took time to teach me certain things from time to time, though I faked it to show my level of intellect to show how fast I could learn new stuff, some extremely impressed, while some were suspect of me. This was so they didn't have to be in the room with me to point out the most obvious things. Getting that out of the way, I could now be released into society. Which was far easier than I thought it was going to be, knowing DC.

On the bright side, I still did some of my daily exercises. My weights couldn't be used that much of course, since it would be too suspicious. So I used my imagination training to imagine myself under 6000x gravity as well with the imaginary weights on, but the gains won't be as nearly as effective as the real thing. It all was only in my mind after all.

But during my stay on the outside, my stats started rising sharply once more. The yellow sun was exponentially greater than the red sun. If I had to describe it, it would be like this. Since Kryptonians shouldn't be able to absorb the energy from the red sun, this doesn't mean it didn't produce solar energy (obviously), I had long grown past that.

To the point where it enables me to absorb it, going against my biological limits, but that was met with significant resistance since I wasn't supposed to be able to. Which might be the true reason for my convulsions in the fifth zone.

But now with the yellow sun, which naturally gave off multiple times more energy and wasn't actively going against my Kryptonian biology, my strength rose even more rapidly, even my absorption multiplier kept increasing with seemingly no end, almost doubling even with it being a couple hours into staying here and me barely being going out. Taken that the sun wasn't even fully out, it was just barely rising.

My progress was good, and no convulsions to boot, which further proved my earlier theory correct, but it was time now. I needed to get more training done. With all my abilities boosted to such a high degree, I should be more than powerful enough to go to the next zone or beyond. I left the base of operation. I left a note on my bed saying I would be gone for a bit.

" System, teleport me to the next zone the moment they can't detect my presence ".

I walked around the city and into a random building. I was going to use a random bathroom. The heroes were creeps, but not perverts. They didn't have hidden cameras literally everywhere since they had morals, too. Seeing the familiar light once more, I was teleported.

Landing, a familiar sensation, a substantial shift in atmosphere and gravity, but still nothing I couldn't handle hit me. This felt like 1500x the normal gravity if I had to estimate it. Looking up and around, I saw the zone's sun, which was yellow and extremely large. Perfect for training. As well as some old yet futuristically large structures that were destroyed?... and judging by the smoke... it was not that long ago... .

The ground shaking as well, with shockwaves resounding in the distance. ' What the hell is going on? ' . Flying up at max speed, I saw a couple of humanoid figures fighting each other and judging by how they fought, it seemed like a sparring match. A rough one, too.

Enhancing my vision, I saw that they were in all white... with an eerily familiar design... ' why does that look like... Viltrumite attire? '. The thought. It finally clicked, ' this couldn't be fucking real. What the hell does the R.O.B think he's doing? ' I could only ask only one source at the moment.

" System! Explain... NOW! ".

IT'S EVEN POSSIBLE FOR THREE WAY HYBRIDS OF KRYPTONIANS, VILTRUMITES AND SAIYANS TO EXIST, THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF COURSE. WITH THE ZONES CAPABLE OF BEING GENERATED WITH HIGHER LEVEL NON-HYBRID SPECIES WITH HARSHER LIVING CONDITIONS TO ENCOURAGE ADAPTION}

Letting all that information sink in. I breathed in... and out.

" This is fucking insane! Viltrumite now exists because the randomizer can just whim it into existence? This is a fucking joke. ", I was livid. This 'zone' feature was dangerous. EXTREMELY so. I could get hybrids of Kryptonians and frost demons and anomalies like broly and Kryptonian hybrids on a whim! A fucking WHIM!

' Calm down Y/N, remember you have the virus ', I said calming myself down for a bit. I looked at the pros and cons at the moment. 1. I could get my hands on some valuable bloodline here, with viltrumite here and all. 2. Well, there are no cons, at least for now.

Flying over to them, I crossed a couple thousand miles in less than a second. Making my presence known. The four of them all saw me a couple of meters from where they were sparring. I raised my hands to signal surrender, and to no one's surprise, they attacked me. I did not know them for their manners, but rather brawn. This did not go well, but I didn't want to eradicate an entire race because of 1 person's mistake.

Trying to appear calm, I looked towards them, " We don't need to fight , even if we do, then you'll lose ". I said to the male viltrumite. Being a little cautious, he attacked, punching towards my chest, only to shatter his arm almost completely. Before they could notice, I blitzed them all and absorbed multiple droplets of his blood from his shattered hand. Acquiring their DNA as well.

Furthermore, I felt a bit tingly at first, but then it wore off, but my attack potency increased a little while my senses raised sharply once more, as well as my lifting strength growing. But the most important gain here were the smart atoms, they should boost the virus genetical potency a bit. Then, I heard a lot of the system notifications go off too. But I ignored it for now. Looking at what happened to their partner, they hesitated for a bit. I decided to speak while they were in a state of minor shock.

" I will say this once more... let us not fight... or you will end up far worse than your friend. Just leave. ". I decided to let them go, none of them could harm me now or ever anyway. Consuming them would be a waste of time, too.

'Gulp'. Panic and shock... this is the first time I've felt it in my entire life. ' How... how did this creature take out kraxes without moving a single muscle? much less with his body alone! Not only that, he was tough enough to shatter his arm completely, too? Not even the leader could do that and come out completely unscathed! '.

I was in utter shock, then turned to him, only to hear him say he wanted us to leave. Why? why did he spare us? He could have easily killed us, his attackers here, but decided not to? I needed to go for now, and take my soldier to the med-bay for recovery. The queen MUST know about this being at all costs!

' Good, he left with his companions. That was easy enough... now. Where is a good place to train? '. Looking around for a couple of minutes, I found a flatland like area. Landing. I finally decided to check my status to see what I had gained.

" Good ". My stats looked incredible impressive. At this moment, I feel like I could destroy the normal sun at my full power in base now. My absorption multiplier was rising rapidly too ever since I came to this planet, my power was rising by 1 point every couple seconds. Which is to be expected. Kryptonian strength increases weren't linear, but rather multiplicative, coupled with the fact that my smart atoms were now boosting how much the red-light advanced. I could theoretically even get a higher max multiplier than before.

As of right now, my goal now was to stay here until my stats were in the thousands, and get used to my newfound strength as well. I feel like my power is going to grow out of control if I don't start practicing again. With infinite power, so comes infinite struggle.
