2 Prologue Part 2

Long ago, even before the concept of time existed, they had always been there.

In their own Divine Realm, they watched and observed as countless universes and cosmos were born and destroyed.

In their benevolence, they often blessed mortals that resonated within their Divine Authorities, and they gave affection despite knowing that the mortals would die within a blink of their eyes.

Everything was peaceful as Order was maintained. Each one of them lived as their divinities dictated, and the cosmos flourished.

Until one day, a young God questioned:

"Why?"

It was the first seed of doubt since the countless eternities of creation of the first divinity. And just as the nature of doubt held, it spread quickly like a plague. And soon it infected all the young divinities.

"""Why?""" They asked. Within that single question, countless more branched out as they doubted.

"""Why?""" And more doubted as it even took hold of the older divinities. And finally...

"Why indeed?" This time, it was the oldest who asked. And that alone was more than enough to create a faction.

And so, for the first time ever since the formations of the Divine Realm, conflict arose as two factions were formed.

One of the factions, insisted that as divinities who had already been born as existences without flaws, needed no such thing as changed. After all, they needed no sustenance, rest, and other than Divine Authorities, the concept of Death were foreign to them.

The other faction, which insisted for change, claimed that the mortals who lived and die within a blink of an eye, needed to be given more. Divinities may have no such thing as flaws, but they still feel sorrow. Thus they refused to let their sentiments fade.

And so, from an argument that seemed childish from a mortal's perspective, a great war broke out.

During the early days, countless divinities fell as for the first time, the divinities came to learn how other divinities 'died'. Their Divine Authority mangled beyond repair, their bodies no longer functions as they had been detached from their divine destiny.

The destiny bestowed by the Divine Realm, and their reason for existence.

And so, for the countless rebirths of cosmos, the war continued without stop.

Until one day...the Divine Realm gave birth to a lone divinity, and it was the last divinity to be born.
