Little troublemaker

The café buzzed with activity as Emily entered, her gaze scanning the room until she spotted an empty table near the center. With purposeful strides, she made her way over and took a seat, a sense of mischief twinkling in her eyes.

A waitress approached, a warm smile on her face. "Welcome to Bella Brews! What can I get for you today?" she asked, her tone cheerful.

Emily returned the smile, though there was a mischievous glint in her eye. "I'll have the special of the day, please. And make it quick," she replied, her tone demanding.

The waitress nodded, jotting down Emily's order before hurrying off to the kitchen. Moments later, she returned with a steaming plate of food, setting it down in front of Emily with a flourish.

Emily eyed the dish skeptically, her expression one of exaggerated suspicion as she picked up her fork and took a small bite. Immediately, she recoiled in disgust, her expression contorting into one of mock horror.
