1 Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Late at night, in the dimly lit room, the young man, fingers stained with the digital ink of his creativity, sat intently drawing a character that bore a striking resemblance to Venom. It was a hulking, muscular entity with white markings on its chest, large, pupil-less eyes, a wide mouth filled with sharp, fang-like teeth, and a long, curling tongue. This character sported a black and white hoodie, baggy pants, and white running shoes.

Young Man (muttering to himself): "What to name you, big guy...?"

He paused, lost in thought. He needed something cool, something... unique and funny but cool.

He leaned back in his chair, contemplating his creation. His fingers danced across the keyboard as he searched for a name generator online. After a few clicks and some scrolling, he grinned and typed the name into his character's file.

(Yasopi = Cheap Copy)

Young Man: "Yasopi. That's it! Yasopi, you're born!"

Satisfied with the name, he saved the file and closed the application. He stretched his arms and yawned, preparing to call it a night.

Young Man: "Guess I'll finish your backstory tomorrow, Yasopi."

Just as he was about to shut down his computer and head to bed, a sudden, blinding flash of lightning pierced through his window, followed by a deafening thunderclap that made him jump in fright.

Young Man: "What the...?!"

He watched in disbelief as the bolt of lightning struck his computer, causing it to erupt into flames.

Young Man: "Oh, no! No, no, no!"

He scrambled to grab a nearby fire extinguisher and hastily doused the flames before they could spread further. Relieved that the danger was over, frustration took over as he remembered his PC.

Young Man: "Well, there goes my PC..."

He reached for his phone and dialed his friend's number, trying to recount the strange lightning strike and the fiery aftermath.

Young Man: "Hey, man, you won't believe what just happened. It's like the universe had something against my computer tonight."

Friend: "What? Are you okay? What happened?"

Young Man: "I was just about to head to bed when lightning struck my computer. It's toast, man, and I was in the middle of something important!"

Friend: "That's some crazy bad luck, dude."

While he was on the phone with his friend, he decided to call the fire department to report the incident, just to be safe. Little did he know that the lightning that struck his computer was far from ordinary. Had he not decided to call it a night and head to bed, he would have been the one transported to another world. The rules of isekai were absolute, and when someone or something had to be sent to another world, it happened.

The scene shifted as the distant wail of sirens grew nearer, signaling the arrival of the fire department. Two firefighters burst into the room, their expressions stern but professional.

Firefighter 1: "What seems to be the problem here?"

The young man sighed before pointing at the charred computer.

Young Man: "It was my computer... it got struck by lightning. I managed to put out the fire, but, well, it's not looking good."

Firefighter 2: "Lightning strike, huh? That's some bad luck."

The young man could only nod in agreement. This was a case of bad luck.

Young Man: "Tell me about it."

The firefighters quickly assessed the situation and began to make sure there were no lingering fire risks.

Firefighter 1: "Looks like we're in the clear here."

Firefighter 2: "You're lucky you managed to put it out in time. Lightning can do some serious damage."

Young Man: "Yeah, I know. I'll have to get a new one."

Firefighter 1: "Good call on calling us. It's always better to be safe."

Young Man: "Thanks for coming, guys. I really appreciate it."

The firefighters nodded, and as they made their way out of the room, Young Man glanced at his destroyed computer one last time.

Young Man: "I guess I'll be spending my free time shopping for a new PC."

Unbeknownst to him, that bolt of lightning had indeed sent something to another world, setting the stage for an unexpected adventure.

In the dimly lit alley in Tokyo, a spirit's eyes snapped open, revealing a confusion that filled his gaze. White eyes devoid of pupils scanned the unfamiliar surroundings. His mind raced with questions - where was he? Why was he here in this dark alley? And who in the world was he?

???: "Where am I...? Why is this place so strange?"

His initial concern shifted from "who" to "how" as he instinctively checked his body for any signs of injuries or missing limbs. To his relief, his form remained intact, without any visible harm.

???: "No injuries... that's something."

However, as he attempted to piece together his identity, a constant whisper echoed in his mind, a single word that refused to be ignored.

???: "Yasopi... is that... my name?"

As he pondered this revelation, his attention was drawn to the human world outside the alley. The bustling streets were filled with people who appeared so different from him, further fueling his confusion. He questioned his own existence.

Yasopi: "I don't look like them... What am I?"

But before he could delve any deeper into these existential questions, a peculiar tingle ran down his spine, urging him to stay alert.

Yasopi: "What's this feeling?"

He turned to his right and spotted an old man approaching with a jar in hand. The old man wore an expression of curiosity, tinged with something sinister. It was Igakuma Akinao, a rogue sorcerer notorious for his use of Kodoku to carry out assassinations and create powerful curse spirits.

Igakuma Akinao: "A spirit in this alley?"

The old man believed he'd found a spirit, but Yasopi, who felt like a newborn in this strange world, was utterly bewildered.

Igakuma: "A newborn? That's not really helping me here. Oh well I'll just add it to my collection."

Igakuma Akinao nonchalantly opened the jar, creating a vacuum that began to pull Yasopi toward it. Panic seized Yasopi's being as he felt the relentless tug.

*Whoooosh*

In that frantic moment, Yasopi's instincts took over, and he clapped his hands together. Suddenly, a dove materialized, blocking the jar's opening.

*Clap!*

*Plap!*

Igakuma raised an eyebrow. What was that sound just now? Looking to his jar, he was confused about what in the world a dove was doing in it.

Igakuma: "What the...?"

Before the old man could react, Yasopi unleashed a powerful punch. The impact was brutal, he could feel his skull and nose breaking from the blow as it sent Igakuma Akinao hurtling through a nearby wall.

*THUD!*

*CRASH!*

Yasopi: "What the hell are you doing?!"

As the dust settled and the old man lay groaning amidst the wreckage, Igakuma Akinao, his grin never wavering, found Yasopi's fiery spirit to be quite amusing.

Igakuma: "You're a feisty one, aren't you? I like it!"

Yasopi: "You're a creep, dude."

The alley was shrouded in tension, the two of them locked in a standoff, a connection forming between a confused spirit and a sorcerer with a sinister hobby.

Igakuma Akinao's eyes lit up with excitement as he lay amidst the wreckage. He felt like a child in a toy store who had just stumbled upon the most coveted plaything. This newborn spirit was incredibly strong, and he was sure that the punch Yasopi had just delivered was no accident. In fact, had Yasopi intended to kill him, that punch would have been lethal.

Igakuma Akinao: "This spirit... It's something else. I want it."

The old man's desire to collect spirits had been nothing more than a hobby, but now, after witnessing Yasopi's power, he wanted this spirit not as part of his collection, but as his pet. The prospect was so thrilling that it seemed to have reversed the aging process in Igakuma, making him look twenty years younger.

Igakuma Akinao: "I must have it."

However, Igakuma knew that capturing Yasopi wouldn't be a walk in the park. Most of the spirits he had captured before would be overkill, possibly killing Yasopi in the process. He also needed to neutralize Yasopi's ability, which seemed to involve object-swapping or creation with the clap as the trigger.

Igakuma Akinao: "I have to break its arms first to disarm that technique."

With swift and practiced motions, Igakuma pulled out another jar, opened it, and called upon one of his collected spirits, Umiko.

Igakuma Akinao: "Umiko, come out and play."

From the jar emerged a mass of black tar that sprang to life, taking the form of a demonic mermaid. Its wide mouth was lined with sharp teeth, its hair consisted of long, sinister tentacles, and it had webbed hands, with a fish tail for the lower half.

Yasopi: "Umiko is uglier than ugly itself."

A strange sensation coursed through Yasopi, his non-existent heart inexplicably beating faster. He didn't fully understand the emotion he was experiencing, but it was as if he were excited, although he couldn't pinpoint why. Regardless, his focus shifted back to the imminent fight.

Yasopi: "First things first, let's get through this."

However, Yasopi abruptly struck a pose, pointing a finger toward the sky as if commanding the world.

Yasopi: "Hit the beat!"

Igakuma Akinao watched, bewildered, thinking that Yasopi was playing around. But his confusion turned to shock as he witnessed a spectacle beyond comprehension. Yasopi's curse energy erupted like a volcanic eruption, no, more like the sun itself had burst to life.

*BOOM!*

The cacophony of sound overwhelmed Igakuma as he searched for the source of the music, but it seemed to originate from Yasopi's very being. What's more, Yasopi's curse energy was a mesmerizing display of colors, like a constantly changing rainbow, akin to a disco ball in a nightclub.

Igakuma Akinao: "What in the world...?"

As the music played and Yasopi's bizarre curse energy pulsed through the alley, the spirit himself began to dance to the rhythm. His movements were goofy, funny, and utterly nonsensical. He shuffled from side to side, spun in circles, and flailed his arms in exaggerated motions. He even did a moonwalk that was more awkward than impressive.

Igakuma Akinao: "What... What is this?"

Igakuma Akinao's analysis of Yasopi was thrown into disarray as he watched the spirit's goofy dance moves. He had expected a fierce battle, but instead, he was met with an eccentric display of rhythm and curse energy. Igakuma couldn't help but gawk in disbelief at the strange performance unfolding before him.

Igakuma Akinao: "Is this a distraction? A trick?"

Yasopi continued to dance to the beat of the music only he could hear, and his colorful curse energy swirled around him like a radiant aura. Igakuma Akinao remained on edge, uncertain of how to react to this surreal turn of events.

Igakuma Akinao: "What's going on? What is this spirit trying to accomplish with that dance?"

Igakuma wasted no time in commanding Umiko to unleash its power. The mermaid-like curse spirit began to exude a dark, sinister miasma that swirled around it. With a grotesque sound, its mouth split open like a serpent's jaws, and a piercing, banshee-like screech echoed through the alley. The sheer force of the sound shattered walls and ground, sending debris flying toward Yasopi.

*Screeeeech!*

Yasopi's goofy dance continued, and he even added some hip thrusts while raising his arms in the air, seemingly unaware of the impending danger. As the sonic blast finally reached him, he remained unfazed, feeling nothing more than a slight breeze and an odd smell in the air.

Igakuma grinned with a twisted sense of satisfaction as he began to monologue, his words laced with a hint of sadistic pleasure.

Igakuma Akinao: "Let me introduce you to Umiko, my dear spirit. It has two deadly attacks. The first is this dark miasma, which can paralyze anyone except me and Uminoko. And the second, well, that screech, at full power, can level a building in the blink of an eye."

This was a standard move of Jujutsu sorcerers by explaining their technique to increase their ability.

Yasopi's bizarre dance continued, and he remained blissfully ignorant of the destruction that was occurring around him.

Yasopi: "Yeah, dance party!"

Igakuma didn't anticipate Yasopi's lack of reaction to the impending disaster. As the sonic blast reached its target, the old man's eyes widened in disbelief.

Igakuma Akinao: "He's... he's still dancing?! Is he immune?"

*CRASH!*

The world around them crumbled, but Yasopi danced on, thrusting his hips and striking poses. Igakuma watched in disbelief as Yasopi appeared oblivious to the chaos. Then, with a clap of his hands, Yasopi vanished before his eyes.

*Clap!*

Igakuma Akinao: "He disappeared?!"

Suddenly, Igakuma felt a powerful impact against his jaw. His perspective shifted as he found himself looking up at the sky, his feet no longer touching the ground. Confusion clouded his mind as he tried to piece together what had just happened.

Igakuma Akinao: ""Why am I... looking up? What was I doing?"

A realization struck him like a lightning bolt as he remembered the recent events. He couldn't believe it - he had blacked out, lost his memory mid-fight due to a mere punch from the spirit.

Igakuma Akinao: "I... I blacked out? I can't believe it... I lost consciousness! Wonderful! Absolutely Wonderful!"

He suddenly spotted a black dot in the sky that was growing larger and larger. It took a moment for the old man to understand what he was seeing. Yasopi was descending from the sky with a punch aimed straight at him.

*SWHOOSH!*

Igakuma's reaction was too slow, and he took the full force of the punch to the face. The impact sent him crashing back to the ground, accompanied by a deafening explosion.

*BOOM!*

Igakuma's entire skull caved in, Yasopi's fist imprinting itself on his now-lifeless face.

Meanwhile, Yasopi landed gracefully on the ground, striking yet another pose with a flourish. He turned to the fallen old man and waited for any sign of consciousness, but after several minutes of no response, Yasopi relaxed.

Yasopi: "Well, that's that."

As his bizarre curse energy gradually receded, the music came to a stop. Yasopi glanced at Umiko, who remained inactive.

Yasopi: "You're not going to attack, are you?"

The two spirits stood in silence, seemingly assessing the situation. Yasopi then decided to take a more practical approach and began rummaging through Igakuma's pockets, ultimately relieving the old man of his wallet.

Yasopi: "Thanks for the pocket change."

Satisfied with his haul, he was about to head out of the alley when he suddenly stopped beside Umiko. Yasopi's gaze fell upon Umiko's chest, more specifically, the two mounds of flesh that resembled breasts. Out of sheer curiosity, he couldn't resist giving them a playful squeeze.

Yasopi: "Feels like plastic and paper... but it's kinda like a pillow."

He released his hold and, after a moment of contemplation, decided to drag Umiko along with him as he left the alley. The two spirits remained in an odd silence as Yasopi ventured out into the unknown.
