2 Chapter 2: Your brother is now your sister...

"Mason?"

Mr. and Mrs. Kondark approach the bedside as they could still hear pained groans coming from under the bed covers.

Just before both parents were at the bed the covers around Mason's head fell over as he had slightly twitched at the pain again revealing a slight glow underneath his skin. When Mr. and Mrs. Kondark saw this at first they wanted to call an ambulance but soon realized that something about this seemed off to them as the glow under his skin was a deep blue and was all over his body.

Over time they saw his hair getting longer and darker while his limbs seem to be getting slightly shorter. When Mason flipped over to face his parents they noticed that the area around his chest was getting more pronounced(he was wearing clothes, not gonna show nudity-esque stuff here.) They also noticed blue accents on the end of his now longer hair that reached his hips but that wasn't going to do much to distract them.

After around 15 more minutes everything else seemed to have calmed down regarding Mason as his pained groans had stopped(with the obvious change in voice from guy to girl.) After a moment passed Mason opened his eyes to reveal two crimson eyes that would occasionally flicker a hint of deep blue.

=====Mason's POV=====

When I realized the sudden pain that came out of nowhere had finally dissipated, I opened my eyes slowly as there was still a lingering discomfort from the event.

When I opened my eyes I noticed both of my parents' feet and then looked up to see two confused faces staring at me blankly.

'Did something happen to me that has given them a reason to stare at me that weirdly?'

As I started to sit up I noticed that my weight felt displaced and it felt abnormal. When I looked around for a minute I could tell nothing happened in the room but when I looked down I realized my predicament.

"Ummmmm, Mason?" said Mr. Kondark as he slowly had come out of his stupor while grounded where he was standing.

"Well this is weird as hell." said Mason not looking at himself as he was still well aware of his parents being in the room. "I have no idea why I look like thi-"

Just as Mason was about to try to get an understanding as to what the hell happened to him with his parents. A holographic-looking screen appeared in his peripheral vision, when he tried to focus on it, it became the center of his view showing what looked like a computer screen.

[Integration successful, user integration verified]

[Please create a new name for yourself user...]

"Ummm what is this?" Mason said aloud which confused his parents in the room as they could not see the text window that had appeared in front of Mason.

"What's wrong...Mason?" said Mrs. Kondark with a hint of awkwardness at referring to the now woman Mason in front of her.

"Some text is floating in front of me saying that something was integrated and that I need a new name..."

"Well since you're now a woman I think that would be fitting. It would be awkward to call you Mason as a woman now wouldn't it?" said Mr. Kondark with a slight chuckle as he realized the predicament that this change had brought about.

"Soooo family meeting?" said Mason with an awkward smile on his face while looking at his parents. This will be the beginning of a very awkward family interaction.

=====10 minutes later=====

{A/N: I will now be referring to Mason as her/she so that the story will not be as confusing going down the road. Hope you all enjoy my book}

It took Mason's parents 10 minutes to wake Amy up as she was a very heavy sleeper that required a specific alarm clock that was a bit louder than a phone's alarm at max volume. Thankfully her room was a bit padded otherwise everyone in the neighborhood would be woken up by her alarm when she got up.

"What's wrong mom? Did something happen?" said Amy as she finally woke up from her deep sleep.

"We need you to come downstairs with us as we need to talk about something. Just...keep an open mind." said Mrs. Kondark as she brought Amy out of her room with her. Noticing Amy's confused look on her face she just sighed.

As Mrs. Kondark came down the stairs with Amy in her night clothes,(Basically a night gown,) they could see Mr. Kondark sitting on the couch next to a woman who appeared to be around the same age as Mason but had jet black hair with blue accents and a pair of crimson eyes.

"Who is that mom?" said Amy as she sat on a chair across from Mason while her mother sat next to Mr. Kondark on the couch. She noticed the awkward smile from Mason but since she didn't know that that woman was Mason she didn't bother with it and looked towards her parents.

"This is going to be a bit confusing to explain at first but...you now have a sister and no brother..." said Mr. Kondark with the grace of Rhino in a stampede.

"....what?" said Amy looking back and forth between her parents and the now feminine Mason.

"Give me just a minute." Said Mr. Kondark as he went to his office to grab his laptop and came back and wirelessly connected it to their TV in their living room. When the laptop was connected to the TV he pulled up the video brought up a few articles on the news that showed reports of people undergoing supernatural changes like gaining abilities out of fiction all around the world.

Both Amy and Mason were staring at the screen as Mr. Kondark had found an article just before they found Mason's change depicting how when a person had this happen his whole body had glowed under the skin in an orange-yellow light, the same as Mason only hers was a deep blue.

"It seems that your brother had something like this happen to him which changed him completely into a woman and also the rest of his appearance as well. So now your brother is now your sister..." said Mr. Kondark with a wry smile on his face.

"So we wanted to talk about a name for Mason as that name no longer would be appropriate for her." said Mrs. Kondark looking back and forth slowly between Mason and Amy.

"Ummm okay." said Amy feeling a sense of awkwardness but also joy as she felt that she could spend more time with her new sister than when Mason was a guy.

"What about Madi?" said Amy looking towards Mason and then towards her parents with a happy smile on her face.

"I like it." said Mr. Kondark with a slight smile on his face.

"As awkward as this is for me, I do agree with this, and I think it sounds nice." said Mason as she looked at Amy with a small smile. She felt weird with all of this going on and with the new information about how what happened to her is a global event.

[Name Madison Kondark accepted]

"Then it's settled." said Mrs. Kondark with a smile while she clapped her hands together. They knew that her new daughter wouldn't have any lewd thoughts about this since she was always a good person no matter what. But she also knew that there were naturally going to be issues for her now that she was a woman.

{A/N: From here onwards Mason will now be referred to as Madison or Madi}

"So Madison, tomorrow you will stay home from school so we can sort this out. Since the school will not be easy to handle since this happened but we can work it out. Secondly I will need to talk to you tomorrow about all of this." said Mrs. Kondark while gesturing her finger at Madison's body as she knew it would be an issue.

"Okay..." said Madison with an awkward smile as she knew that it meant explaining about the things relating to a female body like using the bathroom and the usual stuff about women.

"Okay, you all should head to bed. It's one in the morning after all and Amy has school tomorrow. Don't worry we'll wait for you to get home Amy before we talk about the clothes shopping tomorrow." said Mrs. Kondark while shooing Amy to bed.

"Okay." said Madison as she watched Mrs. Kondark chasing Amy up the stairs.
