Visible scars disappear, but the invisible remain

[6 weeks later]

Jemisha had her last treatment for her scars on her face and arms, and she was glade it was almost over.

During the first few sessions she was in a lot of pain, and could hardly eat or sleep. During the night she had nightmares about the attack and Chris and Spike both pulled her through it.

She was also restless and didn't feel like going outside because her face and arms were bandaged up again.

Chris managed to get her out of the house sometimes in the evening and they just took walks and she apologized so many times to him for being a burden to him and a useless person.

He reassured her she wasn't and he would be there with her and when she felt like going out or go to places he would take her.

He could not imagine in how much pain she was so he could not complain.

But what worried him was, she refused to talk to the psychologist every time he came over.

Chris talked to her and told her if she didn't want to talk to him that it was fine but she at least should talk to Jack.

Jemisha agreed to it and instead of talking to the psychologist she started to talk to jack, how much it hurt, and even cried from time to time feeling worthless and that she felt that she was a burden to Chris, and that she was holding him back like this and he deserved much more.

All the stress and pain was getting to much for her and it slowly started to break her mentally.

Chris was with her every time she talked on the phone with Jack, because it's what she wanted, she didn't want to hid it from Chris.

Jack told her she did very well, and even kept Chris involve in these kind of conversations and break downs was a good thing, not only for her but also for him.

Jack also advised Chris to talk to her and he should tell her whenever he feel powerless or frustrated, being open with her so she also understand him better if he gets agitated.

Chris agreed to that with him and it made them both much more stronger in their starting relationship.

They found out about each other's bottom lines and Jemisha started to come out of the house much more, they went for walks and she started her morning runs again.

She asked Chris if he wanted to join her and even asked him what he wanted to do during the day.

He took her in to town and they went shopping, they even went to the racing tracks and he would take her for a few rounds.

They also went to Jake to practice their gun assembly and disassembly, Jemisha was getting better at it so they made a contest out of it and Jake always stood there with a stopwatch to time them.

But all the fun she had with Chris made her appreciate and love him more.

Chris realized that loving someone and being with the person wasn't always rain bow and sun shine, there would be times that things could get though, but working together and facing these though times, it didn't seem so bad and seeing her smile and being herself again was all worth it.

Their bond and love only grew stronger and stronger during the past 6 weeks.

Today the psychologist came by again and Jemisha wasn't happy about it put promised Jack and Chris to try and talk to him.

The psychologist came inside and saw Jemisha and sat down.

"You can stay in another room and wait for me when I'm done."

Chris stood up and wanted to leave but she stopped him

'Sit back down.' As she said in a demanding tone.

Jemisha looked angry at the man.

'He is staying, we have no secrets between us, and you should be grateful to him. Because he was the one to convince me in to give you a chance talking to me.'

'As soon as he leaves the room you can go with him.'

"As far as I see it, he has been a bad influence on you, you didn't leave the house much and he didn't take good care of you."

"Your boyfriend over there isn't think about your well being and I think it's better for you two just separate until your treatment is complete."

'Get the hell out!'

Jemisha snapped and exploded at the man.

Chris couldn't believe what that man just said and jumped up from his chair and went over to Jemisha.

Even Chris snapped at the man.

"Who the f*ck do you think you are! Get out right now!"

"If this is what's best for her mental state then you should go back to school and educate yourself again."

Chris looked at Jemisha, "Don't worry, I'll talk to you doctor later and tell him he can just keep communicating with Jack and you keep talking to him."

"This piece of sh*t will only make your recovery worse instead of better."

Jemisha was sobbing in Chris arms.

"You better leave now before I kick you out."

Chris was trying to comfort Jemisha and even Spike noticed that she was in a very bad state right now and went up to her and comfort her.

"Then you leave me with no choice…"

The psychologist called for the security guard to come in and asked them to remove Chris.

Chris was trying to fight off the man but he couldn't handle 4 man all alone.

Jemisha was even more enraged and started to attack the security guards, and got 3 down but more came to the room and kept her down.

Jemisha saw Chris was dragged away.

'Call Jack and go to Jake!'

Chris look devastated at Jemisha. "But I promised you I wouldn't leave you."

Jemisha smile while tears fell from her eyes 'Chris promise me you'll come back!'

'You just have to do what you did for me 2 years ago.'

Chris knew exactly what she meant and nodded.

"Take that dog and shoot..."

'NO!!!'

Jemisha begged the security guard to just bring him to Chris and let him take Spike with him.

The guards did what she asked because killing a dog was pointless and it could send her in to a fit of rage and attack them again.

A few man took Spike with them and met up with Chris and handed Spike over to him.

They also passed a note over to him.

After half an hour drive Chris and Spike arrived at Jake called Jack.

"Next time Black Rose doesn't want to talk to a psychologist we better listen to her, I got forcefully removed."

"What happened?"

That piece of sh*t told me that I needed to go, because I wasn't looking out for her well being and I should just be separated from her until her treatment was done."

"I told him he should just get out, but he called for security and they ripped me away from her while I and Spike were trying to calm her down."

"She even attacked the security and punched a few unconscious."

"Jack she is all alone there now even Spike needed to go and he is with me."

While Chris was on the phone with Jack, Jake noticed Chris was holding something.

"Chris what do have in your hand?"

Chris handed him the note and Jake had a look what was on it.

Contact Harvey, I'll keep her save for as long as possible.

The Serale are on the move.

Jake took the phone from Chris and talked to Jack

"Jack the Serale are behind this, call Harvey Argenti he is the only one who can do something now for her."

"Well aren't I and Chris lucky…we work for that man."

"I'll make a call to our boss."

"Tell Chris not to do anything rash and wait for us."
