4 Finding a Teacher

As Sengoku was introducing himself to Percy, he was still standing on top of Commander Peking. He was not aware that Peking was having a difficult time breathing because his face was stuck unto the concrete. One of his confidants started to whisper to Sengoku

"Sir, you're still on top of Commander Peking"

"Is that so?" Sengoku pondered out loud, "I don't remember standing on top of trash."

Sengoku smiled cheekily and wondered [how does this man still have any authority in the navy, I should just kill him now to save the marines from these low level tyrants.]

"My parents will have your head for this!!" Peking was screaming at Sengoku and Percy. "There is no where for you to escape to, your career is over."

Sengoku was silent for a moment before him and everyone around him started to laugh out loud.

"HAHAHAHA that's rich. Fine, tell your parents that Admiral Sengoku punished you because you were embarrassing the navy in front of everyone. I think they'll choose to side with me over a mere commander."

"F-fine" Peking paled after learning that Admiral Sengoku was the one standing on top of him. "This won't be the last you heard of me. My parents are high government officials who would take your job at a heartbeat once I let them know about this incident" Peking retorted.

Sengoku was a silent for a moment, and Peking started to gain more confidence,

"That's right, if you don't apologize to me and hand me that shitty ensign, I'll call my parents and will have your job by the end of the day" Peking went on.

Sengoku looked at the commander solemnly and spoke in a low tone,

"Call your parents now."

He took out a transponder snail and handed it to Peking,

"Make the call"

Peking got nervous because Sengoku called his bluff, of course his parents were not going to defend him in front of an admiral. What little power they had was not enough to get the Great Strategist Sengoku fired.

[Fuck] Peking cursed inwardly. [There is no escaping now].

He called his parents, and his parents responded within three tones

Katcha "Hello who is this?" a mature voice was heard from the snail. Peking was inwardly grimacing to himself,

[I need to play the sympathy card in order for my parents to try and defend me].

"Dad, it's me Peking. I am in a bit of a situation here and I need your help"

"Oh my poor son, what's the matter? Daddy can solve any issue you have, you just need to say the word and I'll get anyone you want fired."

Sengoku had a dark look on his face when he heard this,

[So the world government is this corrupt huh? Any Tom, Dick, or Harry can put pressure on me. Dream on, I will crush this little man when I am done here] Sengoku looked at Peking with dark lines covering his forehead.

"It's Admiral Sengoku dad" Peking spoke nervously. "I was teaching one of my ensigns when Sengoku put his foot on my back and started to speak about how I am trash. I told him that I would get him fired and here we are."

The line was quiet for a moment, Peking was wondering if the call disconnected when he heard his father shouting at him

"Are you a fucking idiot!!!!! It's one thing to get a commodore fired or a rear admiral, but an admiral. Don't get me involved, if an admiral says your trash, then you are trash. Don't get the family involved with this, clear this mess up yourself."

Sengoku was shocked that Peking's father was not going to get involved and took the transponder from Peking.

"Hello this is Admiral Sengoku of the navy. If you have any problems with the way I am conducting my business then feel free to send your complaint to Fleet Admiral Kong if you want me fired or reprimanded."

"Of course not sir" Peking's father started on the other side of the line, "it's the duty of the superior officers to punish and admonish those in the navy. The world government will not get involved in this matter."

"I see" Sengoku smiled and looked at Peking. He turned to the snail and said "it was nice meeting you and I hope to see you someday soon."

"Nice to talk to you too Admiral Sengoku, may we pass paths again someday."

[Yeah right, I never want to see you again] Peking's dad thought internally. [It's not worth making an enemy as powerful as Sengoku over something silly as disciplining my son. I need to get my son out of the navy soon, his future is over for him there.]

After the call, Peking walked away from the crowed with a sullen face as he stared into nothingness.

"Well, since that is over and done with, let me introduce myself" Sengoku said as he smiled at Percy. "My name is Admiral Sengoku and I noticed that you ate an unique devil fruit, can you tell me where you got it from."

Percy was nervous, in front of him was one of the strongest men in the world and a person that is said to have extreme intelligence, the soon-to-be Fleet Admiral Sengoku. He was scared that all his secrets would be exposed and he would be killed for his devil fruit. After using his powers for the first time on commander Peking, it took no genius to figure out that he ate the darkness-darkness fruit, the one who was supposed to be consumed by Blackbeard in the future.

Sengoku gave Percy a reassuring smile and told him,

"don't worry. I am not going to kill you to get your devil fruit. I am just wondering if you have any aspirations on joining the upper echelon of the marines."

Percy was troubled at first, he hated the world government, and to some extent the marines from the manga. The celestial dragons promoted slavery which he abhorred and the marines turned the other way because they required the support of the world government in order for them to survive. This was why he at first thought of joining the revolutionary army at first before realizing that he transmigrated way to early for Monkey D. Dragon to have formed the revolutionaries. Therefore he thought to himself,

[why don't I just train here for a few years, and when I am ready, either set sail on my own or join the revolutionary army. The celestial nobles cannot be left standing as they are right now.]

"Sure" Percy told Sengoku, "It would be an honor if I could be trained by one of the strongest people in the navy in order for me to serve the people better."

Sengoku looked at Percy approvingly,

"Good! I am recommending that you train with either vice admiral Garp or admiral Zed to be your personal instructor for the foreseeable future."

"Yes sir!" shouted Percy, [well, there goes all my free time and my freedom] as Percy shuddered thinking about how Garp trained his grandson Luffy.

[What could be worse?] thought Percy as he was brought deeper into Marineford.
