5 Chapter 5: Forest demon ( 2 )

Bird songs stopped. Covering the woods with an uncanny silence. The three children felt an eerie sense of dread when they step deeper to the forest groves. They thought that there's nothing to fear in the forest ever since the great fire ended a few years ago. Making family deaths and casualties that are frequent in these wood's dissapear.

So they thought that the rumoured demon who live in the forest died in the great fire but the unatural silence of the woods made them felt like their something dangarous lurking in the corner.

" Frei.... A-are you sure we should go deeper in the forest? "

" Yeah the adults said that they are going to find alt so we should- "

" What go back!? Alt has been missing for about two days and yet those people still haven't even found him!! "

" But the adults said- "

" Adult this adult that come on Nutzlos Alt is our friend and your just leaving him like that? "

" No it's just we barely know what were going besides do you even know where Alt is? "

A boy named Nutzlos ask as these three kids are obviously don't know where their going. The girl of the group Frei just turn her head deeper to the forest as she answered.

" Of course I know. We've been in this part of the forest before so he should be somewhere near a big tree "

" But are you sure he didn't left the big tree like you told us. As far as we know he might have been killed by wild animal's or worse! "

" That wouldn't happen. Alt is a fast climber so he should be at the very top of the tree. Now come on let's go get him before it gets dark "

She said with fierce determination as she didn't let some creepy forest get the better of her. The two boys look at each other. The silence might be eerie for them but seeing Frei walking forward to the forest despite dread lingering in the atmosphere made them a bit encouraged to follow her steps.

Three bravely walk pass the forest Grove as they follow Frei. Unbenounce by predatory eyes that watch them from afar. 

Behind the obscure thriving shrubs and bushes of the forest lies a demon with large twisted horns, dark skin, huge muscular figure, jagged claw's, long unkept tusk of hair and mud tainted loin pelts around his waist.

It hasn't been long since he arrive in the forest as he has sense these three children ever since they walk deeper to the forest. His eyes show glutenous desire. His stomach begging to tell him to consume those children. He couldn't wait to taste their flesh as he sneakily crawl around these bushes. Not making a sound whatsoever.

He doesn't want to scare his pray as it would be too insufficient for him. He would rathar kill and eat these children instantly than to waste time chasing them. It's what made it easy for him to have food without fighting too much.

He was getting closer to his prey. The mana around him cancelled his noise and smell as he readied himself to pounce these children. The three felt even more dread as they walk through the forest as the silence made their subconsciousness screaming to turn back.

Nutzlos wanted to tell Frei that they should turn back but before he could even have a chance bird's suddenly made a sound.

" Snap! "

" Flap flap flap! "

Nutzlos stopped as he noticed the bird's made a sound for the first time. His eyes fixated on them as he watch the birds fly passed a dark figure behind the bushe's. 

" F-Frei! Stumm! "

The turn their heads by Nutzlos voice as they to notice the demon behind the bushe's. The demon seeing that his cover is blown by a few bird's didn't hesitate to attack.

The three tried to run but the demon was already a few inches towards them as the demon made his claw sharp as metal and lilfted it towards Nutzlos.

" Woosh! "

" Flap! "

" Splat! "

" AAAGHH!!! "

Nutzlos close his eyes as the demon was to fast for him to even run. He thought that he was going to be killed until he saw a bird thrusting it's beak 

on the demon's left eye. 

The demon scream. As flock's of bird's began swarming towards the demon's head. Piercing and pulling out it's eyes. The demon could barely even see as it tries to kill the flock of birds but due to their continuous growing numbers he was easily overwhelmed.

But the flock of bird's aren't the only animal that is harassing the demon. No it was the entire forest animals. Squerl's from the tree's began to climb down and brutally eat through the demons body, Deer's running towards the demon just to stomp and crush its bone's, wolves began to run and maule him to the ground and a bear join in to this painful torture as the bear fling him around and proceeds to rips it's arms apart. 

Overall it was a total brutal bloodshed from mother nature as the demon has no way to attack. The forest animals bodies were all infused with small portion of mana that is capable enough to scratch through the demons mana protected body. And thanks to the sheer amount of numbers of the forest animals they are capable of doing devastating amount of injury to the demon.

The three children can barely even comprehend what's happening infront of them. This brutal display made them silent beyond belief. It didn't take time for them to snap out of it as they immidiately run away from from the scene.

Never turning back. The demons consciousness is begining to fade as he doesn't have any skin left. Several grotesque wounds and the sheer amount of blood lost made his body slowly turn into dark dust.

The forest animals seeing that the demon was about to die stopped. The animals move a few inches away just to see the demon's mangled dying body after a bear lifted the demon through it's mouth and run towards a certain direction.

Only a small flock bird's follow the bear as the rest of the forest animals separate. Going on to their natural ways.
