Chapter 5: The past and present

This ain't nothing like a good start of the story between the master and the disciple but, something between the gap of what they've been through has changed them so much.

~past~

"hey...look at that young girl. I think she's beautiful as the time passed by. "

other are chattering of how skilled she is, especially in archery. Bae just ignored it and continue her training.

"I think..., I've already teached you for what I know and you can do it by yourself. "

"thank you for teaching me, master Bason. "

he chuckled and invited her to a pastry shop nearby but, something has bothering her that time.

At the shop...

"Umm.... senior...i have something important meeting from my former friend who just arrived home...can I leave? "

he just smiled and doted her as if she's her girlfriend or something.

"I understand that you have a busy time especially during this weekend, so... just take this piece of cake on your way home. "

"thank you very much senior. "

he smirked and poked her forehead.

"Huh...? ",she was confused.

"maybe some other time we'll get to know each other.. ",while smiling at her.

" thanked you very much...senior "

And she left.

but, her mind was filled of confusions. Something between the line draws out more between master and disciple.

"what an obedient and pure girl..., I think I'm getting more comfortable if she's on my side always. ",he said to himself while he watched her leave.

Although...it was a hectic schedule that time. But, it seems she noticed something different on how the way her master smile and the way he looked at her. And she thought about something that Bason deserves someone better than her at that time.She just shake it off and headed towards their meeting place.

at the beach...

"hmm...? ",she didn't find her friend

and someone surprisingly hugged her and kissed her forehead.

She remember on how the way Paul acts about and she just laughed.

"you idiot, why you don't know how to greet me haha"

"I just wanna spend time alone with you and I hope you like my new gift for you. ", Paul smirked...and invited her to watch the sea together.

Bae was kinda surprised by his gift...it was a written poetry, as she read it... she felt strange about how relatable his poetry to her life.

He asked..

"are you okay? "

she responded. "I'm fine"

while looking at the seashore, Paul told her of who was his inspiration in writing poetry for the first time. She listens..

"do you still remember that day that I've almost have no hope to live but,that young girl stood me up for what I am today.., she always give me light... it's as if I remember what my elder sister taught me about. I feel she's still alive, whenever I'm with her.

Although confused at first to what her friend's talking about but, she really get what he is trying to say about. It's as if, he is alive whenever they meet,talk or share the old days of their childhood time...after spending their quality time together, they departed in separate ways.

After that---

(in her mind)

There's nothing wrong of being true to yourself..but, the problem is that many people used or take advantage of those people who are kind.

"I still recall what my mother told me before she left this cruel world. "

in her memories...

her mother was died because of car accident that time. She saw her father grieving because of it. It was the most painful days that time, bae cried herself of why it happened to them. Her father approached her daughter and saying that...

"before your mom died, she did leave a message... which you will find at her room inside of the music box at the top of the table... cheer up sweetie, it's not good to be like this.

she nodded and thanked her father..then, hurriedly find that music box. She was surprised of what's inside of. It was a letter written by her mother before she left...she read carefully

"To my beloved daughter,

You we're my inspirations to strive harder, you're everything to me. I am always grateful to have a caring and loving daughter like you, my dear.

The only thing I can say... "just stay the way you are because you're beautiful inside and out. And I hope you'll continue shining like the moon and sun.If ever I'm gone, please don't be blame yourself.

I just wanted you to be happy all the time. "

after reading the letter, her feelings were burts out uncontrollably...a feeling that she never knew that she'd cried so hard. Her father comforts her,

"don't be sad sweetie...I'm always here and I'm always ready to protect you..I know how you feel like, but, you're mom doesn't want you to be so sad.. look at the bright side, we've come this far and I know we can handle everything.

And from the day onwards, she started training herself after that incident.
