The sun in los angles is burning my skin but the heat will be the last of my problems it seems, I look to the left and find V being surrounded by people as they rush for pictures, I sigh and ask "did she have to come with us uncle ben" uncle ben hits the back of my head as he says "No soldiers left behind" I winced at his hit and said "I didn't say we should leave her, all I'm saying is, she could have took the private jet she offered to get away from these crazy fans" he sighed but said "you'll face the same one day" I smirked and said "there's no way in hell someone will ask the superior nerd for an autograph or a picture, that would be cringe".

I feel someone tap my arm and look to my left to find no one there, but I look down and find a little girl giving me a small book as she asks, "Can you sign this for me?" I pointed forward and said "I think you got the wrong person, V is that girl" she shakes her head cutely and says "I want superior nerds autograph" I look at the cute Loli and shed a little tear as I take the pen and sign my name "what's your name " I ask and she says "Skye" I nod and return the book to her and watch as she walks away.

I sigh as I think of my first fan only to get pushed into the back of a limo and I yell "I'm being kidnapped, help, help" but V yells in my face "move dipshit, this is our car" I smirk and say "I know I just wanted to annoy you" she hits my arm and asked, "so how did it feel?" I frowned and asked "what?" She gestured around as she said, "being asked for an autograph" I smiled slightly and said, "it was good" she smiled as she said, "get used to it, you're going to be asked a lot soon".

My smile dims and I look out the window as I say in a low voice "I wish the other guy gets to sign an autograph too" I feel a hand on my shoulder and I look behind to find V showing sympathy so I say "don't feel bad for me, it's cringe" she shakes her head as she says "I'm not feeling bad for you" I raise my eyebrows and ask "then what" she smiles as she says "J Jonah is off your ass now so that's a great thing huh".

I put a hand on her mouth and say, "watch where you are, Aunt may might hear" she licks my hand, so I take it off and wipe it off on her and ask, "what the hell was that?" But she yells loudly "YOU ASSHOLE" and I wince as I wait for Aunt Mays wrath but it never came so I ask "what?" She laughs loudly and slaps the seat as she says, "they are in another car you idiot", I deadpan at that and watch as she laughs her ass off.

"Haa Haa very funny, now tell me what's up with the limo" she stops laughing and wipes her tears as she says "oh this, my dad arranged it for us when he found out we were coming here" and the mood turned somber as her parents were mentioned, I didn't want to ask but fuck it she asks me pretty personal questions all the time so I ask "what's up with your parents?" She looked surprised at my question and says "they..." she stops and bites her lip before she says, "They don't care... ".

I stay silent to let her talk "... Whatever I did it was considered nothing in the grand scheme of things, I learned enough languages to be a translator, I learned enough to be in college by now but all of it was nothing in the grand scheme of things" She breathed in before she said, "it's not important anyway, let's talk about something else" I sigh at that and ask "where are we going anyway?" She seemed thankful for my distraction and gave me a grateful look.

She pointed to a really tall building and said, "I don't know who he is but Uncle Ben's friend must be as rich as me because that hotel is expensive."

I nod and wonder who that friend is when V suddenly exclaims "oh shit I forgot to tell him I was coming" I look at her in surprise and ask "who?" She holds her head and groans "Butter god" I nod at that and ask "who?" She starts to giggle as she says "OfCourse you don't know him, you didn't even know me" I frown and repeat "who?" She smiles and says "a streamer friend of mine, he watched your video on stream and wanted to collab with you."

I nod and say "cool but do I have to" she put a finger on her lips in thought as she said "we can meet him together and you can decide whether you want to collab or not" I nod and ask "So what's the plan" she shakes her head and says "I do my summer homework and you do whatever you want" I exclaim loudly "what the hell? I took you all around New York and this is how you repay me" she hits me on the head and says, "and half of the time you went away to do spiderman things" I wince at that but say "okay you can do the same, just show me the city a little and go back home".

She squinched her eyes and looked at me with suspicion "and what are you going to do with the rest of your time?" I shrugged and said, "I don't know" but she still suspected something as she said, "you're not going to drink again are you" I shook my head as I said "Nope not doing it..." She smiled at that and said "good..." but I talked over her "...I only drink when Ned is with me."

She looked at me with anger and I was quick to reply "I was kidding, I was kidding" she nodded and I sighed with relief before she continued "you can do whatever you want as long as it is legal" I smiled but she was quick to pour rain on my parade "...not technically legal, not 'it isn't a law yet so it's legal' legal but fully legal legal okay" I pout at that and say "take away all the fun will you".

I sigh and say, "I just don't want a boring rich folk hotel to be my first experience in LA".

I stand on the sidewalk as V holds the car door open while saying "go enjoy your exciting and hot LA trip and leave me alone" I point a finger to the sky as I say, "point taken but at least let me grab my walle.." the car sped away before I could finish.

I looked at the retreating car and said out loud "did she just do that?" a young black woman beside me said "yes, she did" with a heavy accent I turn to her and introduce myself "hi, I am Peter Parker" she takes my hand as she says "I am Shuri" I frown and say "you mean THE princess Shuri" she looks at me in suspicion as she says "didn't know Wakanda interested white people?" I just smiled and said, "oh I don't know much about Wakanda, I just like to keep track of competition".

Shuri gave me a questioning look as she said, "and how am I competition?" I just shrugged as I said, "Smartest human under the age of 19" she smiled as she asked, "and you say I am competition" I just laughed as I said "OfCourse you are", she looks confused as she asks me with a smile "What are we competing for again the greatest number of cryptic answers?".

I smiled as I said "well in my mind we were competing for who makes the most impact on the world" Shuri's eyes took on a challenging note "interesting and how would you achieve that" I smirked as I said "in any way I can" she nodded said "challenge accepter, let's see how we will fare 2 years later" I nodded as I asked "what are you doing here anyway?" She pointed around and said, "I'm sightseeing here."

I asked her in surprise "How about I be your tour guide?" She looked at me skeptical about my skill as a tour guide in a city I just arrived in "and where would you take me?" I look around my pockets and find around 18$ and say "Whatever, 18$ can show us in the city" she deadpanned and said "You would die of hunger or thirst in two hours at most" I smile at that as I say "Here's what I learned from Newyork, the homeless have seen more of this country than anyone else. So, are you in?" 

Shuri looked unsure but after a while, she looked at my outstretched hand and somewhere up in the sky for a while before taking my hand as she exclaimed "I will regret this" I smirked as I said "You can regret it later, let's go we have places to be."
