54 A chance encounter.

-PETER POV-

YESSSS FINALLY, I put a lot of my money in stark stocks, if he didn't come back I would have been fucked for years and now I can buy that Lego Star destroyer I always wanted.

I wake up the next day with a giant smile and as soon as our breakfast was over I grabbed V's hand and pull her out of the hotel room as I yell back "Aunt May, me and V will be out until the evening" aunt May yelled back "Be back before 6:00" We left after that and headed for a Toy Store where I bought my Lego Star Destroyer as V shook her head.

V couldn't stop herself from asking me "Couldn't you have brought this like a month ago?" I grin as I hug my star destroyer "That would mean, I was buying it with hard earned money. It feels better if you exploit your knowledge to make a bet that pays off".

V looked at me with fear in her eyes as she asks me "What the hell did you do?" I just looked at her weirdly as I told her "Stock market" she shakes her head as she mutters to herself "he is dealing with the devil now" I didn't know if I should be offended at that or not so I ignore it and grab her hand as I pull her towards the nearest burger King.

We ordered 3 burgers and some fries, I need 2 burgers atleast for my metabolism to not feel hungry. As we were leaving for the park food in hand a car stopped beside us and the window opened to show THE TONY STARK inside along with Pepper Potts and wait is that Happy.

I am Meeting most of the Iron man 1 Cast here it seems Tony stark looked at the burger I had as he asked "Is that a whopper you are holding kid?" I look down at the whopper before I tell him "these are 3 whoppers I'm holding".

I never thought that would be the first sentence I utter when I meet another genius but the world works in mysterious ways. Tony shows me a wad of cash as he says "Well I'm buying them" I frown as I tell him "these aren't for sale".

Tony stark has a look of disbelief as he looks at the cash in his hand before counting them as he mutters to himself "That's close to 5 grand" before he shook his head before asking me "how much is it then, we are in a hurry?".

I was about to answer before Happy asks "I'll get some if you want boss" I look behind Tony to find Pepper embarassedly hiding her face while Tony cuts Happy off "No, I want those 3 specifically, now tell me kid what's your price?".

I think of what I could ask for a second before I tell him "A ride to the ***** hotel" his eyebrows rise before he turns to Pepper as he asks "Isn't that where we are headed?" Pepper sighs before she says "That's where the press conference is but this would be a security risk Tony just understand...." But Tony cuts her off as he says "they're just kids Pepper, Happy let them in" I sit in the back seat beside Tony stark as V gets in the front seat besides Happy.

I give him his Burger as I ask him "How would you completely render the super soldier serum inert?" He takes the burger from my hand and bites into it without taking his eyes off of me. I grimace as I say "Please" he still looks at me as if I'm crazy for a while before he asks "You are asking me a way to destroy my father's greatest work".

I grin as I say "Pretty much yeah" he looks at Pepper and she mutters "I told you not to let them in" which I couldn't have heard if not for my hearing. I grimace again before Tony Stark turns to me as he starts "I would say The super soldier serum is just a super charged Battery maker, all the energy that Captain America has when he was walking, talking, punching Hitler doesn't come from a glass of milk like the commercials"

I blink at that as I ask "So his body is basically a reactor that constantly churns out energy" Tony smiles and says "Bingo" before he continues to eat his burger.

I think of it for a while before I ask him "But what kickstarted the battery" he looks at me as he drinks a milkshake before he says "there were mentions if a power outage during the serums testing" I know that he knows that I know that he knows what the energy was but what he doesn't know is I know exactly what the energy is due to my future? Past? Knowledge.

It was Vita rays and I don't know what the heck they are but I do know another energy that people thought was the energy used "Gamma rays" Tony who now finished his burger looked at me in alarm before he said "Don't even think about that, Bruce Banner is a national fugitive because he thought that was possible".

I shrugged as I said nochalantly "He was pursuing science" but Tony said sarcastically "Which blew up a college?" I looked him in the eyes and he must have sensed the irony as he calmed down before he told me "Why the weird question anyway kid?".

I shrug as I tell him "Just being prepared" he frowns and asks "Prepared for what?" I look him in the eye as I tell him "As you said, his body is a permanent battery and it will heal him even after he is dead. So what if one day a Zombie Captain America walks to America and starts a rebillion for not looking for him all these years"

-Tony Stark POV-

What the hell is this kid even smoking? I didn't do anything that hard at his age, wait there might be some truth to what he said, technically Steve Rogers can love forever as long as there are parts left to heal and last I heard the ship he died in is under 800 ft of ice.

Which can melt what with the global warming and all of that, holy shit there might be a Zombie Captains America, I am not for conspiracy theories but this one is pretty legit.

I stop thinking about that frankly horrifying scenario and look at the kid again, he must be in high school at most so I ask him "How old are you?" He says he is 16 but he was pretty updated about gamma radiation and The super soldier serum.

Is he going to beat my record of MIT at 17? Nah he doesn't seem to be the type to skip ahead. He looks like me, just Breeze on until something or the other cat he's your eye.

I extend my hand for a shake as I say "We haven't introduced ourselves, I am Tony Stark" he returns it with a firm handshake of his own as he says "Peter Parker at your service" and I am struck speachless as I look at the son of Mary and Richard Parker, people I considered my own, my uncle and aunt in all but name.

I lost them like all the other people in my life and left it behind me but here stands their son who I met by chance, who could have lived God knows where, I wouldn't know.

Looks like the list of people I dissappointed has increased once again because if uncle Richard or Aunt Mary knew that I haven't met their son once in all these years, they will haunt me forever.

I have to make things right, not just with the world which I have put in jeopardy with my weapons but also those close to me who have suffered because I couldn't care, I look beside me and find Pepper looking at her datapad fussing over this or that.

Yup a lot of people who I have to look after and make sure are safe.

-Uncle Ben POV-

"So you say you don't know shit about why those people were after Peter" I look at the man sweating under my gaze or it could be the LA heat but it doesn't matter because he still doesn't answer me.

I sigh as I ask him "Is fury trying to grant my favor with a vacation of all things" with a bit of anger and that might have hit a nerver as Agent Coulson explains "Ofcourse not Mr parker, it is unfortunate that we couldn't find any information about the case but Fury asked me to tell you that he still owes you that favor"

I look at the balding agent and tell him "We will head back by the end of the week" before I get back to the swimming pool and sit by my sexy wife tanning under the sun with a purple bikini on her. As soon as I was near May hurried to ask me "Can you put some sun screen on me dear?" with a sly smirk and I kneeled beside her with the sun screen in hand.
