1 (Chapter 1) New Parents?

'Is this what death is like?' A room filled with a smell of medicine and a fresh breeze. After focusing her eyes and taking a quick look, she noticed that this might be what is known as a rich heiress' room...

The girl, kept quiet, as she analyzed her surroundings, also trying to understand what happened.

'Hmm, I can't move.' She quickly realized that she felt incredibly tired, she could barely lift her head, while also wanting to sleep.

As the girl tried to move, she heard some footsteps outside the door.

*Knock* Someone knocked on the door, revealing a maid carrying a plate of food.

Upon making eye contact with Astrid, the maid visibly jolted. As her hand shook. "Y-Young Miss! You're finally awake!" The maid smiled brightly at the girl, making her feel confused.

The maid was too happy and excited that she immediately rushed out of the room with the plate in her hand. While the girl was left to sit in bed.

After only 20 seconds, two sets of people frantically running. The girl watched as two figures clambered to get into the room.

"My baby! You're awake!" An incredibly beautiful woman ran up to Astrid's bed and hugged her tightly. Putting her head straight into her bountiful breasts...

"Awoooo, how could you scare mummy like that? *Sniff* promise me you will never do something like this again?" The woman's breasts made a comfortable cushion for the girl, but she was barely reacting.

'Are these the memories of the original owner?' She inwardly wondered as something strange entered her thoughts.

She felt an influx of memories enter her head. In fact, it was so extreme that she felt that her own memories conjoined with this body's memory.

Astrid organized her memories and then felt a strange feeling... A warm and wet feeling on her face.

*Cough* "Dear, let's not cry over our baby's face. She just woke up." A calm, male voice spoke. Giving Astrid a feeling of nostalgia.

'The woman is the body's mother, the man is the father.' Astrid immediately knew everything this body knew about her life.

Mrs. Tuhs pulled away from Astrid and wiped her eyes. "Shut up old man. Don't say you aren't crying either?" She spoke with warmth and a teasing tone.

Mr. Tuhs lightly coughed. "Of course I did. Astrid, do you feel better now?" The mood in the room was bright, as the couple quickly sat down on the bed and studied Astrid.

Astrid was blankly staring at the couple in front of her.

Astrid gave a small nod. This was enough to bring wide smiles to both parents. "Good, good, good. Make sure to eat now baby, daddy needs to some work for now." Mr. Tuhs spoke with a warm smile as he rubbed Astrid's head.

Mr. Tuhs then gave a light peck to his wife as he walked out of the room, a smile permanently plastered on his face for the rest of the month.

Mrs. Tuhs was left with Astrid, she lightly took Astrid's hang and placed her finger over her wrist...

"Mm, my baby seems better. Does anything hurt?" Her honey tone voice would make even the coldest of people falter in her presence.

Astrid shook her head, unaffected by her mother's natural charisma.

Mrs. Tuhs smiled even wider. "Mm, make sure to eat the food later. Do it for your mummy and daddy." Mrs. Tuhs eyes formed into crescents.

Mrs. Tuhs walked out walking on clouds, she kept a wide smile on her face.

Astrid was left on her own in the bed. She still didn't have much reaction when her mother diagnosed her condition.

Based on her memories and the small amount of knowledge she had. She knew that her parents struggled to have children. After almost 10 years of failure, Astrid was born.

Astrid was born extremely sickly, both physically and mentally. She struggled to be a 'normal' child. Spited by other children, other parents, then her own family. The original owner of the body slowly succumbs to the ways of life. Being bullied along with her poor health slowly corroded her will to live.

She slowly became inverted and refused to speak much. Not going to school or even going outside, she had nothing but her parents' love.

But at that point, her mental health had affected her so much, she was basically a blank sheet of paper. She was cared for by her mother by day, and at night, both her parents would talk to her. As she would listen.

Astrid was the name of this body, it was also a name she used in her previous life...

'I guess I should honor Astrid's death.' She inwardly thought, she didn't understand much, but knew that if she was in control of this body then the original owner must have died.

Astrid then pulled herself out from under the covers, she shuddered from the biting cold hitting her arm.

'Poor health... I should start with that then.' Astrid attempted to get off the bed.

As Astrid's thin, frail foot hit the floor, she put some more pressure to stand.

Astrid then fell straight to the floor! Dragging the bed covers along with her.

'Oh.' Astrid just stayed on the floor. After analyzing her parents...

"Baby! What happened!?" As Astrid expected, her mother immediately came storming in with worry written on her face.

When Mrs. Tuhs spotted Astrid's body frame on the floor covered by her cover... She almost fainted on the spot.

"B-Baby, what happened? Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?" Mrs. Tuhs stammered as she went over to Astrid to put her back on the bed.

"... I'm fine." Astrid emotionlessly replied, she let Mrs. Tuhs pick her to put back in bed.

Astrid's voice was dry and sore. It sounded wispy and not nice to the ears.

Mrs. Tuhs froze for a split second before carefully helping Astrid up to the bed. "Mm, good. Are you hungry baby?" Her honey tone, and loving smile would give comfort to anyone.

Astrid stayed quiet, as she was put back under the covers. "Hmm, I'll go make your favorite okay? Just wait for me." Just by the tone of her voice, one could easily tell how much Mrs. Tuhs loved her child.

Astrid lightly nodded. As Mrs. Tuhs rushed out.

'This body isn't strong enough to stand. I guess I should listen and eat here.' Astrid gave up on the idea of standing up for now. She had an idea of how weak her body was now, she predicted that some nourishing food will help her body.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Mrs. Tuhs was cooking over a pan wiping her eyes. *Sniff* 'God, my baby spoke! Maybe this is a good oman.'
