CHAPTER I : WHO IS HE?!

In the clear skies of Wishes Willey that day, a beautiful singing voice echoed throughout the country. The song that the siren nobles of the Kingdom of Posseipia always sing every day gives peace and soothing to the entire race. Plus the flower petal fragrant that fly brought by the wind to every corner of the country that comes from the sky garden of the Caelus Empire makes a very calming atmosphere when the sun shines brightly radiating the most beautiful area of the Aeros Continent. It doesn't look like they're in a time of war.

"DZUUUUNNGGGGGG------- NG" From a distance sky appeared a plane fall at high speed after breaking through the transparent magnetic wall that protecting Wishes Willey.

"WUNGGGGGGGGGGG..... WUUUNGG---WUNG-------" A strong sound of warning from across the kingdom indicates that there has been damage to the protective walls of magnets.

In the sky, the puff of smoke was increasingly visible as the air force plane getting closer to the ground. the plane part has been dent by the crush of magnetic, the wings of both aircraft have been broken and the tail section of the plane that looks crushed began to dispel the fire.

"BOYEIR!! BOYEIR MARK!!! BO—ZZTT-ZZT-MA—K-DZZZTTTT!!" The sound from the aircraft radio slowly began the disconnection until it was finally completely disconnected.

Slowly Mark opened his eyes. His gaze was slightly blurry due to the blood flowing from his temple. Mark groaned slowly when he felt pain in his left abdomen that turned out to be pierced by the inner part of the plane wall that was crushed from the outside.

"Arrrghh! Shit!" He groaned in pain while pulling a fracture that pierced his left abdomen. Although it wasn't too deep it was enough to make him bleed a lot.

"Shit! Unlucky! Shit!" He hit the handle of his plane's snagged controller. Mark removed his head-protective helmet. The back of his head had been soaked with blood. Half of his silver hair had turned red.

"Luthen!! Luthen, did you hear me? Hey, I got into the wall! Hello!! Shit!" Feeling annoyed Mark slammed his headphones. Seeing the back of his burning plane, he immediately got out of position and opened the door of the plane by kicking it with all his might. The door came off and fell down.

Mark groaned again feeling pain in his stomach. If he was just an ordinary person he would have died right then and there due to blood loss.

"I had to get out before this plane exploded, I thought I had been in the dust, it turned out that there was still a possibility of surviving after successfully enter the wall" He muttered to himself while looking at the circumstances below that will have a chance for him to survive if he forced to jump.

Mark climbed the top of his plane and balanced his body so that he could stand in the condition of the plane that continued to accelerate. The direction of the plane would obviously hit the coast and of course, it was the area that would be his grave.

Eventually, he chose to jump off the plane for 30 seconds before crashing into the land as the plane crossed a forested area. Mark fell on top of lush trees and his plane exploded when it crashed into the coastal lot of the Valley of Sea, Kingdom of Grimoure.

Due to a blow to the back of his head and a cut to his left abdomen, while he was on the plane, Mark had difficulty moving the upper part of his limbs. However, his awareness of the danger if he was caught taking him to move away from it, he was even more panicked when he heard the sound of a hum from a distance. The sound that was the level 3 warning sign belonged to the Kingdom of Grimoure.

"If they catch me, all of my efforts will be in vain."

Mark continued to drag and lift up his body go to the cliff. He saw a cave on the edge of a cliff and carefully entered it. His increasingly heavy breath and his body that was getting limper because he lost a lot of blood made him fall down and fall to the wall of the cave. His gaze grew growl. Until he vaguely saw the figure of a white-haired middle-aged woman with blue eyes and her light brown skin who continued to walk closer and closer towards him.

"It seems like I'm losing too much blood, I'm starting to hallucinate now, is he my angel of death? Why not a beautiful woman but a grandmother?"

"Ah,. Now I just hope that the noisy Mercurie is here so i could stay awake."

"Finally, I found you." The woman suddenly cupped Mark's face with both her hands.

Mark's body reflexes, immediately moved, the middle-aged woman's speech made his trained instincts rise, he realized that he was not hallucinating. Mark pointed his hand towards the woman's neck and gripped her firmly. Strangling her without caring about the shocking response from the middle-aged woman.

"I didn't think I would be found by an old woman like you here. I can't let you out of here alive"

"Let's just say today isn't your lucky day, granny"

The woman did not fight back, she just grasped and rubbed the back of Mark's hand until Mark's grip slipped from her neck and Mark fell back down as it became increasingly difficult to manage his consciousness. His blood also came out more and more and he began to have difficulty on breathing.

"What is this? What happened to me? All of a sudden all my energy just disappeared, was it because I had lost a lot of blood? Or..." Various kinds of thoughts began to rag in Mark's head because of the condition of his body that suddenly went numb.

"A soldier is indeed extraordinary, no matter how bad his condition is, his body can reflexively move because of his strong defensive instincts. But, if you forced it, your circumstances can get worse no matter how strong your physique is to survive. Besides, you've also lost a lot of blood. So I think you've gone into a numbing phase. Well, now let grandma help you. Don't be stubborn anymore Ulran..." The woman keep talking while rubbing her neck that had been strangled by Mark. Then she smiled, she pulled Mark's hand and draped Mark's arm around her shoulder.

"Ulran? Who is Ul, ran?? --" Mark lost consciousness after closing his eyes. The last thing that he saw was the mouth of the cave emitting a blinding light to the eyes. Without him knowing that it was the point where his life began to change.

Meanwhile, a young man named Urie runs through the city looking for his grandmother who has left the house since morning and has not returned. The black-haired youth panicked, even more, when he didn't find his grandmother even after he went around the place where the grandmother used to go.

"Where are you going, grandma? Aunt, aunt, did you see my grandmother?" Urie stopped at one of the florists while wiping sweat from his temples.

"Oh, Urie.. No, I haven't seen Grandma Io.. Maybe she's at Uncle Herman's store. Just check there."

"Thank you, Auntie.." Urie ran back to the bakery on the outskirts of town and went in to meet the owner of the bakery.

"Why are you in such a hurry Urie?" he looked at the sweaty Urie. It was obvious he had been running.

"My grandmother.. Did my grandmother come here uncle??" He tried to catch his breath so he could speak properly.

"Looks like I haven't seen her since this morning, are you sure your grandmother went to town? You know, it's been a habit since your brother wasn't around."

"Thank you, uncle.. If she comes here please tell her to come home soon, I'm looking for her." Urie always avoids conversations about his brother. Just a little, he will immediately divert the conversation.

"Okay..." The bakery owner just sighed after Urie left the store.

"Mr. Herman, is the young man who just came out is the grandson of Grandma Io?" A woman asked the bakery owner while pointing at Urie who had just come out.

"Oh right, how did you know?"

"Of course, from his eyes, you can recognize him easily. Earlier I met his grandmother on the street, while busy chatting she suddenly left. I remember she went to the forest. Maybe she was looking for medicinal ingredients or something, I'm also quite worried"

"Really?! His grandson is looking for her. I'll call him, I hope he's still up front" Uncle Herman ran out intending to call Urie. The big man groaned because Urie was no longer there.

"He ran so fast.. I hope Grandma Io is home right now" Uncle Herman went back into his shop.

--Valley Village--

Not far from the northeast coast of the Valley is a village. Among the houses of the Vhanu residents in the village stands a large house that belongs to the Xavier Mencorf family, which is famous as a family with mixed-race descendants of the Angeve nobles and the Vhanu nobles. Urie is the youngest grandson of Xavier Mencorf. Now he lives alone with his grandmother and prefers to be a worker in one of the Apple plantations in the East-West Valley Region than living in the noble area of the Vhanu kingdom.

-The residence of Xavier Mencorf's family-

"Grandma!!" Urie shouting when he entered the house when he saw the door to his house was slightly ajar. At the same time, he also felt relieved because it meant that his grandmother had come home. He ran quickly to the kitchen. "Grandma!!" He shouted once again as he broke down the kitchen door.

"Ehh! Grandma... Grandma!" Grandma Io shouting her owns the name, surprised to hear Urie's loud voice that made her dropped the spoon in her hand.

"Stupid boy! Can't you come in properly? How many times have I told you to lower your voice when you enter the house? You want your grandma to have a heart attack?!" she continued nagging while picking up the spoon she had dropped in surprise.

"Sorry grandma, I don't think you're back yet. I even went looking for you in town" While rubbing his sweaty head, Urie put his hands on his hips.

"So, where have you been grandma?" Grandma Io continued her work which was stirring the ingredients in the pot.

"Indeed, why are you looking for me? Haven't I already prepared your lunch? You just have to go, right? I thought you had already left" Grandma Io then sighed.

"Fruits will die if they wait for lazy workers like yourself to fertilize them."

"Don't be like that grandma, my cold hands will actually make them grow faster. Besides, how can I leave? You left the house from the morning after preparing lunch and didn't come back either. I'll say goodbye. Therefore, I think.. I think .."

"What? I'm lost? You think your grandmother is a senile old woman or an old woman who has a disease of disorientation and forgets who she is, huh?" Grandma Io hit Urie's head with a spoon.

"It's not like that grandma, I'm worried..." Urie exhaled while rubbing his head which was pounded quite hard by his grandmother. Then he turned his gaze until he saw that one of the doors to the room that had not been opened for the past 3 years was open and the sun was shining from inside the room. He walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Because the kitchen is close to the stairs to the first floor and the room is not far from the stairs, his eyes can certainly catch the awkward view. He entered the room. Urie didn't realize his grandmother was following him from behind holding a spoon.

"I just got off the cliff. And I found him in the cave.. Grandma has warned your brother repeatedly not to play on the cliff. Now look, he's hurt again.." Grandma Io snapped when Urie stood beside the bed where Mark lying.

"Brother? What do you mean grandma?" Urie looked at his grandmother with an incomprehensible look.

"Yes, your brother.. Ulran. Look, he must be in a lot of pain from his wounds. Even though he's a soldier, he still doesn't have the same strength as me to heal himself." Grandma Io continued to babble while breathing heavily a few times while Urie didn't hear the words coming out of his grandmother's mouth clearly when he looked closely at the face of the man lying in front of him. He sat down and covered his mouth.

"Ho.. How could this happen?" He said in disbelief seeing the figure of a man who was exactly like his brother who had died 2 years ago.

"I know Grandma still can't accept reality even after 2 years. She still can't believe that Ulran is gone to the point that every time she sees a man who looks like him, she was insisted on bringing them home. But this time.." Urie muttered in his heart while glancing at his grandmother, then glanced back at Mark.

"W-Who is this man? How can..." Urie couldn't even believe what he was seeing. He felt whether he was the same as his grandmother. Because of that, he saw the man was similar to his brother. Urie got closer to Mark then brushed the hair that covered Mark's forehead so that he could clearly see the man's face.

"His hair, skin is different. How come their faces are the same?! Who is this man? Where is he from?!"
