90 CHAPTER 89: The City of Dustan

TWO YEARS LATER

A boy walked into a bar where he worked in Dutan, a town close to the battlefields. Approaching the green man who stood behind the counter that had drunkards sitting on benches in front of it and talking about their woes, he picked a bucket and broom and went to a table that had bits of food around it.

The green man called out to him.

"Eyus, you're back? Did you get that bastard who hasn't paid me my money?"

The boy named Eyus looked up, his shoulder length dreadocks partially covering his eyes. He wore brown clothing that looked cheap and dirty. To sum up everything, he looked like he perfectly fit in this place. The patrons who sat drunk on chairs and stools also nodded to him in recognition.

They had features like various colors of skin, and even different numbers of eyes.

"He said he'd pay you back, but I don't think he will. He wouldn't meet my eyes."

Eyus brushed aside his hair and replied to the man.

"That bastard. I'll have his balls for stew."
