Liam feeling the pressure from the other person, but still unconvinced: "You said Isabel is your girlfriend? Why have I never heard her ever mention about you?"

Hearing what Liam said, Apex let go of Isabella and walked to him step by step.

Hr stared at Liam sharply then said:

"Why should Isabel tell you everything about her personal life? Are you her nanny? Did you see her disagreeing with what I said?"

Liam's throat was stuck. He felt his heart burnt alive. Apex seeing his condition ignored and change the focus on his 'girlfriend'.

"I will come pick you up next time for meetings like this. Rely on me more, okay? Do you understand?"

Isabella's cheeks are red. She could only nod which made her look like a submissive and well-behaved girlfriend but that doesn't mean her friends were accepting this. When did the female lone wolf who had always walked his own way been so obediently and pretty much 'tamed' by a man?

"That's good, then why not go sit back? Come babe."

Apex reached out to Isabel and the other party immediately obediently took his arm, led him to the beach leaving a group of students who are still astonished and unbelievable.

"Liam, what do you want to do?" one of Liam's supporters asked unhappy.

"Just let him linger for a while, and then I will find a chance to clean him up!"

He, who was naturally unwilling to lose 'his beloved woman', took the lead to follow the couple while the rest of the classmates followed to see drama pursues.

The beach bonfire seems to be more lively because of the arrival of Apex's supposed enemy.

Everyone returned to their original positions except Apex is sitting next to his 'girlfriend'. Liam who didn't want to give up was planning to sit on the other side of her but before that...

"Hey, that seat is reserved."

"Nobody's sitting there though?"

"Bro, take a hint. I don't like it when other men come too close to my woman. So, back off."

Apex straight out denied Liam, without any politeness.

Other students were slightly dissatisfied with Apex, but Isabella was overwhelmed with a sense of security.

Liam who's so persistent still sat down a little further away from Isabel.

"Do you often come out here at night?"

Apex ignored Liam and talked with her.

Isabella shook his head repeatedly and said, "Today is the end of the year party. I rarely come out. And if I come out, I would probably follow my roommate. But... If you don't like it, I won't be out at night."

Apex wanted to test her further so he ask: "Are you looking for serious relationship with me? Or are we only having a fling."

Isabel glared at Apex angrily, and said, "Am I that kind of woman in your eyes?"

"Huh? No." Apex shrugged and denied it but he was a little bit disappointed. Isabella seriously said to him: "I like you. It was at first sight. I know you don't believe it now but I will use time to prove it."

After that, Isabel pretty much ignored him and fiddled with the food on the barbecue. The two were in awkward silence.

Liam, who has been watching them assumed that the two had a quarrel. He was thinking of standing up and go near Isabella to console her but before he could do that....

Isabel raised her head again regaining a full smile on her face then handed Apex chicken wing roasted by herself.

That kind gesture...it's something Liam has been longing for so long.

But seeing Apex took the chicken wings nonchalantly and ate them without even saying a word of thanks, as if all this was taken for granted in his eye...

He was going crazy with jealousy!

' I will definitely show you your place...Someone like you don't deserve a gentle girl like Isabel...' (A.N: I don't know what to say... do I have to say thanks every time I take something from a girl???? Then I own lots of 'thanks' to all those girls I borrowed pens from...I mean, aren't we friends??? T^T)

"Hey, there are quite a lot of beautiful women in your school."

While eating the barbecue made by her, Apex still have time to look around at other beauties.

Isabella pouted, and her friends who were checking the situations only felt speechless.

When did she learn to pout like that?....

"Don't I look good..."

"Well, they're all beautiful but congratulations, you seem to be the best-looking among these girls." Apex said.

When she heard this, Isabel was both delighted and satisfied. There's been many praises from boys but none of their words made her feel like this. So this is what others feel when they get a compliment from their crushes huh...

" Can you roast chicken wings for me, the one you gave taste more delicious."

"okay..."

The beach party was still in full swing, but Apex didn't want to stay any longer.

It's far better to take Isabel away from here without speculations from a group of strangers.

Just as he was about to leave, Liam suddenly got up and walked to a position where everyone could see and started shouting loudly.

"Dear students, I find that everyone has been talking on their own groups. This is not good! I suggest that each of us sing or play an instrument to perform a show."

"It just so happens that the three most authoritative music teachers in our college are all here today. Let them comment on us and select the three best-performing students."

"The best performer will win and I will personally contribute 3000 dollars to the winner. How about it?"
