Coming Home!
The moon was high in the sky as naruto and jiraya approached the village gates. Naruto couldn't stop the small wave of happiness he felt when he saw his home. Hed been away for almost four months because of the chunnin exams and he was glad to be home.
It took them two weeks to make it here from kumo and naruto had to admit that he enjoyed the fire nations weather way more than kumos. Don't get him wrong, kumo was a beautiful place but as the old saying goes, theres no place like home.
Making their way to the chunnin post in order to check in, they werent all that surprised when they saw izumo and kotetsu sitting there half asleep. The two were nicknamed as 'the eternal gate guards' for a reason, they were always the ones watching the gate!
"Izumo, kotetsu!" Jiraya said loudly, said men jolted awake as they looked up and saw the sannin and his students.
"Ah! Lord jiraya, naruto, youre back!" Izumo said happily.
"Yeah! Yo naruto, I watched your matches and I gotta say-" kotetsu gave the boy a thumbs up." You did wonderful, sorry about the arm man." He added with a small frown.
Naruto looked at his left arm before shrugging." Its alright, its nothing I cant handle." The blond eye smiled at them.
"Yeah man, youre tough." Izumo agreed." Anyways the hokage told us to tell you all to go to his office when you arrived." The chunnin informed the two.
"Yeah, we'll head right over." Jiraya gave them a nod before heading into the village." See ya two later."
"Bye guys." Naruto gave them a wave before fallowing his sensei.
"Such a nice kid. No doubt hes gonna be made chunnin, even with the missing arm." Kotetsu told his best friend.
Isumo nodded in agreement." Yes but he'll need to train harder now in order to cover that weak spot." The man added as the two sat back down and continued their eternal duty.

After making their way through the empty streets of the village and into the hokages tower, naruto and jiraya were quickly shuffled into the hokages office by the secretary. When naruto and jiraya entered the room they sweat dropped at the sight in front of them.
The third hokage, the professor who had mastered every jutsu this village had – except blood line limits of course- the man that lead the great konoha through teo wars and was feared by other kages even at the ripe age of 60... was currently passed out on his desk with a snot bubble coming out of his nose.
"I got this." Naruto told his sensei. Jiraya just nodded and made a handsign for the anbu that were hidden in the room to stand down. Everyone watched as naruto walked up to the desk, made a single handsign and was covered in smoke.
Out of the smoke came a very beautiful blond haired women who was wearing an orange bikini that was two sizes to small. The women looked to be around 18 and had long blond hair that was tied up into two pigtails.
"Hokage-sama!" Came the seductive giggle. Said hokages head shot straight up and he locked eyes with this beautiful angel and began to blush.
"W-wha-"
"Hush" the girl put her finger over the old mans lips and gave him a seductive grin. " are you ready?" She asked with a giggle.
Hurizen could only nod with a small line of blood dripping down from his nose. He watched the girl take a step back and reach behind her to undo the bikini top. Right before it fell off the girl went up in smoke and a ugly looking fat lady came out of it with a predatory grin.
"Im gonna get you!" She shouted out. Hurizen let out a high pitch girly scream as he fell out of his chair in both shock and fear.
Said lady went up in smoke and hurizen watched as naruto came out of the smoke and collapsed to his knees and began laughing his head off. He also heard a fee more snickers coming from his anbu.
He quickly stood up, brushed the imaginary diet from his robes and wiped the blood from under his lip before gaining a serious look on his face.
"What just happened will now be classified as an S-ranked village secret." He told them all. Naruto laughed harder and even jiraya had to wipe a few tears away.
After a few minutes of naruto collecting himself they were ready to began talking, with hurizen going first.
"Well im happy to see you again naruto. I watched your matches and im very impressed with your performance." Hurizen told the boy.
"Thanks old man, that means a lot." Naruto replied with an eye smile.
"I wasn't the only one that was impressed either naruto. The entire council was impressed and the head of anbu was even asking about you." Naruto blushed lightly under his mask.
"Im happy to hear that I've made everyone happy." The boy told him. Hurizen gave the boy a small grin as he held his hands together.
"In fact, the shinobi council stated that your abilities were well above chunnin, but they didn't wanna promote you to jonnin because of your age." The third explained.
"So ill be promoted to chunnin then?" The boy asked with a curious tilt of his head.
"Nope." Replied the third simply. Narutos shoulders seemed to sag a bit." Instead, youre being promoted to special jonnin." Jiraya stood in the background watching his student jump around in joy.
"Oh man this is great! Im a special jonnin- wait, whats a special jonnin?" The blond asked curiously.
Hurizen chuckled before answering." A special jounin is someone that has jounin strength in one skill but not the others. In this case, your mastery over water, wind and fire ninjutsu is what pushed the shinobi council into offering that position. And I know for a fact that your other skills arent to far behind. " the elder man told him.
Narutos eyes lit up with happiness, but the third wasn't done yet." One more thing naruto." The boy looked curious."congratulations on becoming the youngest special jounin in konoha history."
Naruto felt a sense of pride knowing that hed become the youngest special jounin the village ever had. That meant that despite his age, the shinobi council were starting to respect his skills. And knowing that made naruto happy.
"Thank you old man, I wont let you down!" Naruto promised as the hokage handed him two scrolls.
"One scroll holds your new vest, some kunai and shuriken and your knew identification. Stating that you are in fact a special jounin." Hurizen smiled lightly and rubbed the boys head." The second scroll is from minato."
Naruto held the scrolls close to his chest with his only arm." Ill read the fourths letter tomorrow. I just wanna see hinata and hinabi." Naruto told the man truthfully.
Hurizen gave the boy a small nod as jiraya spoke up." Ill be heading out tomorrow to track tsunade down." Jiraya informed his sensei." Ill be bringing her back to reattach narutos arm. I'll probably be gone for a month in a half so find something for naruto to do until then, yeah?" Jiraya asked.
"Of course." Hurizen nodded before he looked at the blond." Come to my office in two day and ill have something for you."
"Ill see you then old man." Naruto said as he put the two scrolls in his back pouch before giving the man a thumbs up.
"Have a good night naruto." The third gave him a small smile.
"Night." With a wave naruto left the room.
"What do you have planned?" Jiraya asked with his arms crossed.
"Ill get him set up to be irukas helper for the month. He cant go out on missions with only one arm and god forbid the kid gets bored!" The two chuckled at the small joke." And I think itll do him some good to be around kids his age." Jiraya agreed.
"Anyways im gonna head out to get some rest. Ill be leaving in the morning. See ya sensei!" Jiraya gave the man a wave before leaving through the window.
"Ah, lets finish the paperwork up." The third groaned as he went back to his desk.

Naruto made his way up to the front door of hashis place. In his hand was a tub of vanilla ice cream and a bottle of multicolored sprinkles in his front right pocket. He made a quick stop to one of the open late stores on his way over.
He managed to open the door without dropping the ice-cream and made his way into the dark house. Closing the door behind him and kicking his shoes off, naruto navigated his way through the dark house and into the dinning room. He set the tub of ice-cream down on the table along with the bottle of sprinkles.
He clicked on the room lights before heading into the kitchen to get spoons and bowls, setting them out on the table naruto gave himself a quiet nod before turning around and walking in the direction of hinatas room, but he was stopped when he ran fast first into a taller women's bust.
Taking a step back, naruto looked up and locked eyes with hitome who was wearing a night robe. Without saying anything she quickly engulfed the boy into a hug, burying his face back into her chest.
"I was so worried when we saw you lose your arm." She choked out as she hugged him tighter. Naruto wrapped his arm around her." Hinata and hinabi could barely get to sleep these last few weeks you know. They were always asking about you."
"Im sorry for making you all worry, but im alright. I even brought ice-cream and sprinkles." Naruto replied, getting a soft laugh from the teary eyes women. She sniffled and broke the hug, rubbing his head she gave him a smile.
"Go wake the girls and ill get hashi. The girls are in hinatas room, hinabi didn't wanna sleep alone." Hitome told him. Naruto nodded and walked off.
Quietly opening the door to hinatas room he let a small smile grace his face. Sleeping cuddled up to one another in hinatas queen sized bed was hinata and hinabi. There was the ever present glow coming from the nightlight hinata always had on.
Silently making his way to the side of the bed and sitting down. Naruto gently shook hinatas shoulders.
Hinata groaned softly as she rubbed her eyes sleepily. She looked up and her eyes widened when she saw who it was.
"Naruto-kun!" Hinata called out as she quickly hugged him. Naruto chuckled lightly and rubbed her back." When did you het back?" She asked softly.
"About an hour ago. I had to see the old man before I came here." He replied happily. Hinata hugged him tighter and began to sniffle.
"I was so worried, b-but youre back now." Hinata cried softly into his shirt.
"Its alright hime, im alright." He stated softly.
"Mmm" they both looked at hinabi who sat up, her hair was a mess and she was rubbing the sleep from his eyes." Whats going on oni-chan?" Hinabi asked cutely. She looked up and blinked as she saw naruto looking back at her."aniki?" She asked in tired confusion.
"Mm, firecracker-chan, I brought ice cream." Naruto stated with a happy smile.
"ANIKI!" Hinabi cried out as she shot into him, pushing the boy off the bed and onto the floor with a small grunt." Aniki youre back!"
"Yes yes im back hinabi-chan." Naruto chuckked as the girl hugged her face into his chest. He rubbed her back soothingly as she looked at his empty left sleeve.
"B-big brother, y-your arm.." hinabi said quietly. Hinata had a sad look on her face as she stared at his empty sleeve.
"Yup, lost my arm." Naruto told them casually." But don't worry. Ill be getting a new one next month sometime." He told them.
"Im happy then." Hinabi sat up on his chest with bright eyes." You were amazing though big brother!" She shouted out in childlike glee." That one white haired kid though he got you with his sword but then you exploded him!" She threw her arms out in exaggerated movements." I knew you played him, I didn't worry at all." She stated proudly.
Hinata sweatdropped." You were the most worried out of all of us hinabi." She stated plainly.
Hinabi shook her head." Nope. I was just playing then." The young stated matter of factly.
Naruto snorted in amusement as he sat up, hooking his arm around the young girls waist and standing up.
"Come on girls, I got ice cream." He told them happily. Hinabi whopped happily as hinata giggled happily and quickly fallowed them out into the dinning room.
