Chapter 18 First lesson

| In the afternoon I fully recovered and ask Haoxuan if we could start the training now. He was both surprised and curious on how I could heal so quickly asking again if I have a healing ability, but I had to remind him again that I don't and lied telling him maybe I can regenerate my health faster than others.|

"I'm ready what are you going to teach me first."

For the first lesson, I won't teach you any techniques just yet. I think it's better that you rest a little bit more.Maybe tomorrow or the day after that but not now.

I will explain to you how the beast kingdom works and the ranks.

[Never mind this is interesting.]

"Kingdom but you didn't mention anything about beast kingdoms before."

Well yeah that's because I didn't you that trust much at the time so I kept the information limited. So let me explain this clearly. Yes This world has currently 5 kingdoms but we beast also have our own hierarchy but they are not known by many humans or others as they use us as resources and sometimes slaves for their power. These kingdoms of ours are mainly referred as clans. I am not sure of how many there are as there are many species. It should be obvious on witch clan I am in, the fox clan called Sionnach.

"So does that mean I'm also apart of your clan?"

Technically yes you should be but you need the approval of the elder and you should be registered in the records ,so you are currently a nobody in this world.

[ This sounds a little like politics really. Such a troublesome thing.]

The clans are similar to those sects that humans have but still contains some differences. The strongest bloodline among a certain species is the leader known as the king or and queen of that clan.

"What is the strongest bloodline anyway?"

The strongest bloodlines are called divine bloodlines since they are the ones that our ancestors had a long time ago.

The ranking goes like this:

.Elders

.King/Queen

.Prince/Princess

.Commander or commanders

.Advisor

.High Blood

.Disciple

.Low bloods

"Interesting but why are you not back at your clan and I want to know what rank you were."

My parents were the disciples of one of the elders so me and my siblings had a lot of pressure in our backs since birth but my parents sadly died a few months ago so my older brother continued under that elder. The reason why I am not in my clan is because I ran away cause I did something bad over there and didn't want to face the punishment but I did it as revenge for what they did to my parents I know there death wasn't normal in any way so I figured out who it was but I didn't have proof.

"What did they do to make you have such desires ? And how did you find out the truth ?"

[ Especially at this age.]

I'll tell you another time but you need to keep all of this in mind it might help us in the future.

"Xuan I want to make my own clan."

You're kidding right ? You can't possibly be serious.Cause if you do not only will it be hard to do so but you might start a war with other clans. It means that you will fight the ruler of my clan and take his place a thing that is most likely impossible.Creating your own clan is no laughing matter, others would think that you would be courting death at this point.

"Impossible ? Oh please nothing is impossible to me. I am determined to do it and you can't change my mind. You know what's even better ? I'll be able to help you take revenge on the ones that hurt you and your family. We must first get your siblings back and think of a plan, but we have to get stronger together only if you are willing to do this with me."

Rule number 1 you have to wake up earlier then the rooster and sleep later then the dogs. Since we finish early today I'll let you sleep early just today, so stop being a brat and go to sleep.

[ What is this the military!?]

"Fine I'll go to sleep and don't even think of making me sleep that late in the future or I'll bite you to death."

| I make a biting motion with my teeth.|

I'll bite you first before you do, now get inside.

| I stick my tongue at him and get inside to go to sleep without forgetting to shower in the moonlight.|

[ I haven't seen the moon these past few days maybe it was the new moon or something. Got to sleep before Haoxuan gives me an earful. I swear he must've been a single mom in his past life.]
