|The following morning, I was abruptly woken up by Xuan, who kicked my head for no reason. GAH! STOP THAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING ARE YOU A DOG !?
| A sudden memory of one of my college lectures from Earth comes to mind and I contemplate for a moment about what Xuan just said before responding|
"Technically yes dogs and foxes are from the same family lineage so basically foxes are like dogs"
Huh ? What nonsense are you talking? Since when were we close to dogs ? You are simply insulting your own race.
"OUR race aren't you a fox too?A moron like you wouldn't be able to understand the point I'm making,anyways I've punished you enough.
[Oh my head ! He'll pay for that!]
| I try to endure the pain and start to interrogate him.|
"Now would you please give me a good reason for why, WHY did you have to kick me to wake me up !? You could've just give me a slight slap on the face you know !? Then I would've let you off."

[ Do you have a hitting fetish or something ? Who hits someone because they want to!?]
{ If Haoxuan heard her words he would've looked at her with disdain}
"It's too early for this I don't want to argue with you when I just woke up. Yesterday you said we had to leave this morning I guess that explains why you woke me up."

| I look at him with a burning passion to hit him|
[Ooh Lord give me strength before i hit this guy again.]
"So where are we going ? You've been out for an hour now I hope it's not something stupid."
|He glares at me.|
[ Haoxuan P.O.V]
[ Why does she have such a sharp tongued. Nevermind her attitude I have other plans with her.]
"Somewhere that's all"
[ That gives me the opportunity to know what your potential is and if your spy trying to get me back to that place again.These past few days might've been a facade even tho you didn't do anything to me during this time, but that doesn't explain why you are strangely aggressive with me]
Can you give me details I don't want to live somewhere ugly. Are there flowers or anything.
| I look at her with annoyance|
"We've been living in this cave for a few days now you didn't complain why are you doing so now?"
|She talks to me with a hint of sass|
I have a preference too you know the only reason why I stayed is because I liked the view of the sky from here.So is it a pretty place?
| I respond with sarcasm|
"You'll have to find out when we get there your majesty."
I don't appreciate your tone peasant.
| I look at her straight in the eyes and she does the same, I Ignore her and think of ways of how I'll torture her in the incoming fight.|
[ Lu Qing P.O.V]
|Along the way Haoxuan kept asking me questions for some reason but one question peaked my interest|
Have you ever fought someone before?
| I look at him straight in the eyes a hint of curiosity in them|
"No why do you ask ? "
I was thinking about sparring with you.
| As i hear those words I can't help but feel excited in my heart|
[ If this is true not only can I improve my combat with him I can also beat some sense into him!]
"Really! ahem I wouldn't mind to do so."
| He looks at me weirdly|
Why do you sound so excited about such a thing, I might as well think that you've been waiting to do this since our first meeting.
| I take a deep breath and try to supress my eagerness and put on a serious expression before answering.|
" Well to be honest I was thinking about sparring with you for a while now,since I want to become stronger I need someone to help me and that day when we hunted together I saw how easily you caught the pray and felt a little weak so you would've seen me take the initiative to ask you sooner or later."
| He stops and looks at me with all seriousness|
Are you being completely serious right now?
[ Why is he so suspicious of me ?]
"Yes I am.I acknowledge that I am little aggressive and sometimes immature, however it doesn't mean that I can't have a serious mindset. I consider you as my first friend even tho you're a pain to deal with and we always bicker during our interactions I don't want to have any misunderstanding between us that's why I refrained from asking you to spar with me until you extended the offer yourself.
| I hesitate before I continue|
Don't think that I haven't noticed the way you look at me. Full of suspicion and sometimes hostility...I know that you don't trust me fully yet and I understand that. I don't know what you had experienced in the past and I won't force you to talk to me about it you're not comfortable sharing it. But can you please have a little more trust in me and besides I'm only 2 weeks old, I know nothing about what's going on in this world."
| He looks at me for a moment his expression unreadable. Then he nods slowly.|
I apologize for misunderstanding your intentions, not trusting you enough and not thinking through about your situation.
|He looks away embarrassed|
I'll try to change my ways from now on.
| I offer a slight smile |
[ At least you know what you did wrong.]
" No need to apologize as I already said I understand"
| After that conversation,we continued the walk to the new place without exchanging a single word to each other making things extremely awkward.|
