25 Outan and Tita

Jono was afraid that the two people were still following him, and he felt safer using public transportation to return to his apartment.

Not long after, the bus he had been waiting for arrived. He immediately entered the bus, whose route passed through the road near his apartment building. It only took about five minutes for the bus to reach a stop near his apartment.

Getting off the bus, Jono immediately rushed to his apartment, which was only a little more than two hundred meters away. When he arrived at his apartment, he immediately locked the door and sat on his dark brown sofa. He was both physically and mentally exhausted at the moment.

Jono began his training by practicing with his sword. He practiced one-handed swordsmanship with his gravat sword. He has nearly mastered the basic one-handed sword technique when using his gravat sword.

Even though the weight of his gravat sword became half the normal weight of the sword after using his ape puppet ability, Jono still couldn't use the sword freely. Jono always carries his Gravat sword everywhere; this he does as training. He has been doing this ever since he bought this sword. He would hold this sword with both hands when walking in public places. Other people might not think that the sword he was carrying was heavy.

Although Jono is currently able to use the gravitational ability of his ape puppet when practicing the sword set, he will not lighten the weight of this sword while carrying this gravat sword. He did this because he was determined to improve his strength, especially the strength of his hands.

After Jono felt that he had practiced enough of his swordsmanship, he performed the breathing technique until his stamina returned to normal. He practiced until ten o'clock at night, according to the schedule he had set.

After training, Jono had dinner, then took a shower, which ended with a good night's sleep. When he was asleep, the two people who tried to steal his belongings were discussing something in a dimly lit room.

"That brat can escape the effects of your super ability."

"How can that be, Ger?" asked the person wearing the black shirt earlier.

This person had taken off his baseball cap by this point; his head was bald, and there were several visible scars on his head. Anggin is the name of this individual. He appears to be young, like someone in their early twenties.

"I also don't know, Gin," replied the person wearing the hoodie. Now he has opened his hood, and it turns out that this person named Angger also has a bald head, just like Anggin. They seem to be the same age, but with faces that look very different.

Anggin has a slim face and body, while Angger has a slightly fatter body and a round face. In addition, Angger's eyes are much smaller than Anggin's eyes, which are quite large.

Jono bought five second-stage and one third-stage of first-phase beasts. He also purchased bamens that have the element types of darkness and water. He bought five beasts just in case the beast's magic energy and carcasses required to advance weren't enough.

He did exactly like what he did yesterday with his ape puppet, but now he's doing it with the butterfly puppet. After completing the process of increasing the strength level of his butterfly puppet, he let out a sigh of relief.

The five beasts that he bought were barely enough to raise his butterfly puppet's strength to a peak. Luckily, he purchased more beasts yesterday when increasing the power level of the ape puppet.

Then Jono took the next steps, such as making his butterfly puppet absorb beasts that had a power level above his butterfly puppets and adding bamens as the last step. There is an optional step that is not needed, and that is whether or not he wants to slightly alter the appearance of the puppet.

After the butterfly puppet leveled up, the appearance of the butterfly puppet wasn't that much different, only slightly enlarged.

"Because my special puppets are very similar to living creatures, I will name them, so it's easier to remember and feel comfortable when I have a lot of special puppets."

"Ape puppet, from now on, I will call you Outan; and the butterfly puppet, I will call you Tita."

Outan is a black ape puppet with a power level in the early second stage of the first phase. Tita is a butterfly puppet with a power level in the third stage of the first phase. Outan possesses a super ability like an element controller; it's a gravity-type element controller, while Tita has shape-shifting ability.

Initially, Jono assumed that if humans possessed this shapeshifting ability, they could transform parts of their bodies, similar to body transformation. However, when Jono uses this super ability on his own body by inserting Tita into his abs space, it turns out that this shapeshifting ability is a type of unique ability. When Jono uses Tita's super ability, he can't transform part of his body to become a butterfly beast or other beast body part to shapeshift.

Tita can transform into a different animal or beast by absorbing the carcass of the expected beast. But when Tita entered Jono's body and Jono wanted to use Tita's super ability, he could only absorb human corpses, not beast corpses.

So, his only option is to disguise himself as another human. This limitation only applies to him. If Tita wants to disguise herself as a human or beast, she can do that by absorbing the expected human corpse or beast's carcass.

The pair of Tita wings are decorated with a white emoji-like surprised human expression motif on them. Although Jono hasn't done any experiments with Tita's super ability, he has gained some understanding from the vast amount of information he obtained when inserting Tita into his abs space.

Tita can still fly with those wings even though it's not very fast, but it's still something useful. Jono wants to use Tita's shapeshifting super ability, but there are no beasts left in his apartment.
