1 Chapter 1-Jasmine

It was a calm morning today, perfect for the occasion. Jasmine woke up bright and early to go downstairs after preparing for the morning. She hopped into the shower and washed her long blonde wavy hair. She texted her two best friends Nicole and Casey. They texted her back. She was so excited to see her friends.Her head snapped back towards the glass door, her eyes bright and focused like she was expecting the day to come for her. Some footsteps emanated down the stairs to her left. It was her mother, Daphne, her gray hair wound up in a ponytail hanging down behind her upper back. She went to the fridge to make breakfast and she made pancakes with strawberries. Her mother made some bacon to go with it. She grabbed some juice as well and some syrup for pancakes."Tell me, dear, what are you planning for the summer?" Daphne asked."I'm planning on traveling the world with Casey and Nicole," Jasmine said."That's something big to do for sightseeing." Daphne walked back to the counter in the kitchen."I hope so," Jasmine took the first bite with a fork and swallowed. "I haven't gone on a trip like this in a while and I know Casey and Nicole will have fun as well.""Why don't you call the girls over and you all can plan your trip?""Sounds like a good idea, mom. I'll go do that now." With that, the girl headed to the living room where her lavender-colored purse laid on the table. Opening it, she took out her cellphone. She dialed Casey's number."Hey, Casey," she greeted."Hi, Jasmine!" Casey responded. "How are you?""I'm doing amazing, Casey.""Good to hear that. So, what's up?""Do you think you and Nicole can come over so we can plan our trip?""Yes, we'll be right over, Jasmine."Some hours later, Casey and Nicole drove over to Jasmine's house. As they reached the door, Nicole rang the doorbell.When Jasmine opened the door to meet her friends, a silent moment passed between them while they all emotionlessly stared into each other's eyes. Then, they let loose a collective screech of happiness before wrapping each other in a group hug.Jasmine asked the girls where they all wanted to go for the trip. Nicole and Casey said New York and then we can go from there for our next stop.Jasmine said, "sounds like a plan."Casey says, "when do we leave?"Jasmine says, "Tonight at 6pm is when we fly out".Nicole says, "I guess we should meet here at 4pm all packed and in the car"."I can drive you girls to the Airport". Daphne said.Once they got to the airport, they made their way towards the runway, walking together arm-in-arm. They looked around at all the people waiting, moving about, chattering amongst each other.They grabbed their luggage and headed to check in. After the procedure, they gleefully headed to the terminal for the plane. The three got hungry after their whole trip and waited at the airport. The three went to get some snacks. They were early for their flight since their plane was in 1 hour and 30 minutes. They got their snacks and went towards the gate to wait to board the plane. The girls laughed and talked while they waited. The girls were getting excited for the adventure. They could not stop talking about it all week. The girls texted their parents and told them that they would call them as soon as they landed. It was time to board the plane, so the girls got their carry-on bags and got their passports out and went to board. They got on the plane and sat in their seats waiting for the plane to take off. The plane took off when everyone boarded and was buckled up. The girls talked on the plane once the plane was high enough in the air and was balanced. After a while, the plane was in the sky and it was safe to talk. The Flight Attendant told everyone the safety rules on the plane in case of emergency. After the flight attendant gave her speech everyone got out their tablets and stuff for entertainment. The Girls watched a movie on the plane and a little while later the flight attendant checked on everyone and brought them drinks and snacks.During the long flight, the girls watched the TV screen on the back of the seat in front of them. The girls watched a movie called Downton Abbey. They also talked about the boys they might meet on their trip. A few hours later, the girls landed in New York City. First they went to collect their luggage at the baggage claim area in the airport before heading to rent a car to get to their hotel and they are amazed at the scenery around them as they have never been to New York. The girls then find a way to get to a hotel to set their bags down and stuff in their hotel room. Once they finished that they went sightseeing around New York. They first go look for some shopping places. The girls find a shopping place and they look around at some of the stuff they have. They each find a manga they like, and they go and pay for it. The girls then see a clothing store, so they look there. The girls try on some clothes in the store. They walk around the shop for a while. Jasmine and her two friends loved shopping in New York. They decided to look around some more before they were going to go eat lunch. A little while later They found a cute little restaurant to eat at. It is called Russ & Daughters Cafe which is a cute little cafe and it was cheap but had good food. The girls ate lunch and then went to do more sightseeing.The girls smiled and were grateful they got to go. They wanted to watch the sunset, so they went to the pool at the hotel to swim. They got in the pool and swam for a bit before watching the sunset. A few mins later the Sun was just starting to set, and the girls watched as it set, and the moon came out. The girls then got out and got dried off before heading to their hotel room and getting in the shower and ready for bed. The girls were dried off and started to head to their hotel room and once they got in their room, they each took a shower one by one. When they were done with their showers, they turned on the television for something to watch. They found one of their favorite shows on and so they watched it. After watching their favorite show, they made some hot chocolate and then told some stories before falling asleep in their beds. A few hours later the youngest girl had a bad nightmare that she screamed in her sleep waking up the other two girls who were trying to sleep so The youngest got up and grabbed a glass of milk thinking that it would help. Jasmine went to check on Casey to see if she is okay.Casey said, "Jasmine Can you lay with me? I had a really bad nightmare and it was scary."Jasmine replied, "Yes I'll lay with you for a while Casey I know it's not easy being away from home and stuff, but Nicole and I will protect you."Casey says, "thanks Jasmine you're the best friend I ever had." Jasmine smiled when Casey said that to her.Casey says, "I wonder if we will meet any cute boys on our trip?"Jasmine says "We might I am sure of it" Casey then falls asleep.The next morning, the girls got up and got dressed and Jasmine helped Casey with her hair.Nicole said, "who was that screaming last night?"Jasmine said "It was Casey. She had a really bad nightmare last night and that's why she couldn't sleep last night so I slept in her bed with her. Casey thanked Jasmine for last night.Jasmine said, "you're welcome Casey just let me know if you have another one of those bad nightmares."Nicole says, "do you know what is causing these bad nightmares Casey?"Casey said "I don't really know Nicole, but I don't think I'll be able to sleep every night with them."I think We might find you something to help you Casey," Jasmine said. Nicole said "Casey I know you are having trouble sleeping at night, but it will get better.The next day the girls woke up and Jasmine made breakfast for everyone. Nicole and Casey were texting their mom letting her know they landed safely in New York.Jasmine says, "What do you girls want to do today because we are going to stay in New York for two more days before flying to our next stop?"Casey says, "Can we go see a play on Broadway?"Nicole says, "Can we go to the Zoo?"She says, "Yes we can go to both. We will go to the zoo first then later on we'll go see a play on Broadway." The girls ate breakfast before heading out to the zoo.Nicole drove the car while Jasmine and Casey were in the backseat of the car for the ride to the zoo. On the way to the zoo Casey and Jasmine were talking to each other. The girls arrived at the zoo 30 mins later and they got out of the car and went to get the tickets to the Zoo. They entered the zoo and walked around to see the animals. They loved the red pandas and the snow leopards were their favorites. They got some goodies from the gift shop. They took lots of pictures as well. The girls were having a great time at the zoo. The weather was not bad, and it was not as hot as they thought it would be. It was June so it was perfect weather in New York. The girls saw more animals at the zoo until it was time to go, which was about 3pm. The Girls were getting hungry, so they left the zoo to find a place to eat lunch. They found a place to eat lunch and then they went inside and got a table and looked at the menu. The waitress walks to their table and She asks them "what they would like to drink and to eat."Jasmine says, "I'll take a sweet tea to drink".Nicole says, "I'll take Root beer to drink."Casey says, "I'll take a glass of milk to drink".The waitress writes down their order and she puts it in. After a while, their food comes, and the girls start eating. After the girls are finished eating, they pay for the food and they leave a tip for the waitress. The girls head out back to their car to head to Broadway to see a play. The car ride was only about 1 hour away from where they were to see the play on Broadway. They are going to see Aladdin on Broadway. They reached the place and got the ticket and the booklet they gave you and they went to go find their seat. The girls took a bathroom break before it started. After they went to the bathroom they went back to their seats. More people were coming in and grabbing their own seats as well in the theater. Once everyone was seated the play started and everyone was watching the stage as the actors came out. After the play, the girls clapped and then got up and headed out the door to leave for the hotel. They got in the car and wanted to do one more thing before they left New York which was a carriage ride in Central Park. Jasmine drove this time to spot where the Carriage ride was and parked the car and the 3 girls got out. They decided to do the 45 min Carriage ride. The girls paid the coach who oversaw the Carriage ride then the girls got in and the Coach showed them around telling them the places they saw along the way. The girls took pictures as well and hoped to get the pictures developed. After the carriage ride was over the girls took pictures with carriage and horses. The girls headed back to the car and Jasmine drove back to the hotel so they all could get some rest. They reached the Hotel an hour later and went to their hotel room and got in the jacuzzi.They all relaxed before heading to bed. They enjoyed the time in New York and cannot wait to see what the next place brings. The girls then got out of the Jacuzzi and hopped into their pajamas and got into their beds in the hotel and turned off the lights and made sure the door was locked while they slept. The next day the girls woke up and started to get dressed, which was the last day they were in New York. Casey did not want to leave New York but she will be back someday to visit. The Girls planned their last day together in New York before flying to London England on the next day. The girls had breakfast at a restaurant. The girls ate breakfast and then did some sightseeing some more and were going to see a concert. They were going to a country concert with Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. Jasmine and Casey were huge Keith Urban fans while Nicole was Miranda and Carrie fan. They all got meet and greets for the show. Jasmine and Casey knew every Keith Urban song he ever wrote. Jasmine and Casey walked towards the meet and greet area for Keith. Jasmine has a huge crush on Keith, but she has not told yet in person till now. Jasmine walks in and she sees Keith and the first thing that happens is she falls into him and she kisses him, and He says "Hi Baby" with his sexy Australian Accent.Keith asks, "What is your name baby and where are you from?"Jasmine says, "My name is Jasmine and I'm from Nashville".Keith says, "Wow Baby!"Jasmine then whispers in Keith's ear the words "I love you".Keith whispers, "I love you too'' Jasmine ''Jasmine then took a picture with Keith before he kissed her on the lips.Keith then talks to Casey and says "Hi Baby"Casey says "I know that Jasmine really loves you Keith. She dreams about you all the time."Keith says "She does well I might have to make that happen on stage tonight then"Casey did not know what Keith had in mind for Casey, but I think it's a good one if that. He can make her happy. Casey took a picture with Keith as well. A little while later Casey and Jasmine found their spot near the front row. Nicole went for her meet and greet with Miranda and Carrie. She was happy that she smiled when she met them as they both asked her what her favorite song was. After that Nicole went to find her spot next to Casey and Jasmine. Carrie Underwood did her set first before Miranda did hers. They got the crowd warmed up for the main act which was Keith Urban and his band. Casey texted Nicole what happened with Jasmine and Keith at the meet and greet. She was shocked to hear that. An hour later it was time for Keith Urban and his band to be on stage. He walked out and grabbed his guitar and sang one of his songs called "Never Coming Down". The crowd was singing along and after a while like in the middle of his set Keith had an idea and told the audience that a special girl is here tonight.Keith Says, "Can Jasmine please come up onto the stage?"Jasmine then walks up onto the stage and thinks about what is going on. I wonder what he is up to. He says, "This girl Jasmine into my heart tonight and I would like to do something a little special for her". Jasmine is shocked by what he is saying about her. Keith then tells Jasmine how much she means to him and how much he loves her. He then gets down on one knee and proposes to Jasmine.Jasmine Says, "Yes I'll Marry You Keith".Keith then Kisses her and then slips the engagement ring on her ring finger. Casey and Nicole clap and cheer. Jasmine then kisses Keith back and says "I love you Babe"The fans all cheer for Keith and Jasmine. Keith tells Jasmine to wait after the show because he has a little something else for her to help celebrate. Jasmine then walks off stage so Keith can finish his set. Nicole and Casey were happy for Jasmine that they were crying tears of joy for her. Jasmine does not know when she will tell her mom Daphne that she just got engaged to the man of her dreams. Casey smiles at Jasmine and gives her a hug. Nicole also does the same and they do a group hug. The band then played the last song before taking a bow. Casey then hands Keith a shirt for him to sign. He signs it and smiles back at her. Casey and Nicole and Jasmine head to the area where Keith told them to go after the concert to wait for him as they were going to his tour bus to celebrate with him. Keith then finishes and heads to where Jasmine and Nicole and Casey are at and he leads him to his tour bus. They got on his bus and sat down on a couch while Keith changed in the back of the bus. After He changed it was time for a little party to celebrate. Keith got all 3 girls a drink from his mini fridge.Keith says, "I have an announcement to make.''The Girls said, "What is your Announcement Keith?"Keith said, "I proposed to Jasmine tonight on Stage which you saw me do".Casey and Nicole were happy for them. They all were drinking for 2 hours and were a little bit out of it to drive back to the hotel to get their stuff to fly to London which is their next stop on their trip.
